We had wonderful time spent here. Our little girl played a lot at the playground and we have had some chill drinks in the garden. We definitely recommend to family with children and persons that looks after a lovely courtyard and very good service.

Came for lunch on Saturday with the family. Booking a table was easily done. Arrived early for our table, so the children played outside on the playground. Ordering was easy, and we was informed of any wait times by the waitress. All in all it was great.

Good food and friendly service. We had a long wait of about 45 mins for food but the staff informed us of that, and we did have a table of 10. The food was served hot and delicious and good portion sizes! There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed to leave. Good place for families and friends.

Had lunch here. The menu has lots of choice for adults and children. Places to eat inside or outside. Lots of parking spaces. One entrance has a ramp for pram or wheelchair access. Large children's outdoor play area. Inside the pub is quite spacious and lots of various sizes of tables to suit groups, couples or individuals. Large wall mounted TV screens visible from most areas of seating. We ate rump steak and it was delicious and served by friendly staff . There is a main bar which you can just have a drink and chat as we did after the meal. Whitehills has a lot to offer whether you are single, a couple, family or group.

Not a bad old pub. Lots of choice. Too much really. It’s green king so you can order from your phone and save yourself the leg work and the green king the staffing cost of asking you want you want. Personally I think pointing should be brought back if saving words is the aim.

Only visited once for a quick bite to eat with family. Seemed nice enough inside. Plenty of room around tables and had a OK selection of food for us adults and the kids was a few items on the menu witch they didn't have when we asked for them when orderin but nice Fast service though and cleanliness wasn't a issue from what I could see Just typical bar grille place . 3.5 stars out of 5 in my opinion

It's a really cozy pub that serves brilliant food and have a large choice on the menu, chef was not happy with one of my steaks on my and refused to send out anything other than perfect quality, she came and was apologetic for the wait but that is absolutely amazing customer service. Average. We booked a table, only to get there and there wasn't one. They put two together for a very small table for five, which took ten minutes whilst we waited at the entry. There was a large table empty apart from needing cleaning, which we were later moved to, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't put us there in the first place. There was no lasagne or gammon, and probably other stuff missing. The table had a large dent in it. The fire door was slammed, making a lot of noise. Staff seemed stressed and overran, leaving the phone to ring. Decor is weird and doesn't fit. The need for children to leave by 9pm seemed rather rude, given that they would be in the eating section, instead of the bar, and if this is for some reason necessary, it should be presented in a nicer way. The staff were absolutely wonderful, an older man in a white shirt, and a young waiter completely made it, totally brilliant. The problem is not the staff, but the management, they seem to be putting waiters under too much stress and not fixing deep problems. I was initially put off coming here because of your rude replies to reviews on here, which reflects INCREDIBLY poorly on you, and it's clear its just to cover up the poor management. 3 stars.

We use this pub a lot but were very disappointed the last time we visited. We had a small dog with us so had to sit outside. We were in the far corner near the TV screen and there was a rugby match on which was very loud just for about half a dozen people watching. There were no heaters in that.corner. 2 had fish and chips and the batter on the fish was solid6

It's a good location on the outskirts of Northampton, it doesn't open until 12pm 🕛 and they are usually late opening, the food is reasonably priced and decent quality, the beer 🍻 is expensive. I would eat there more often but the place is not usually very clean, especially the toilet 🚽 so I have doubts about the kitchen. Ash trays are emptied as a last resort

Great value food, came out quickly, was hot and the perfect size. Child's menu maybe a bit restricted but it went down a treat with my nephew. Shame the seniors don't have a smaller portion option at weekends. That said the staff were brilliant and attentive and couldn't fault the atmosphere or look of the place. Definitely would recommend and return to.

I went here at lunchtime. It was lovely and quiet. I can imagine it gets busy because it is such a nice pub. Food was amazing. A great, local pub serving sizzling steaks and great beers. Part of the Flaming Grill chain so food of quite high quality, delicious and always comes smoking hot. Friendly staff and open until quite late throughout the week so no need to go home early!

I've been to this place quite a few times. Although the description says "pub" this place does amazing food. The prices are low for the quality and the quantity of the food you get. They have special offers on different days and you can also get Sunday roast dinner on some days. They also play live music regularly and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend.

Lady at front of house was lovely...drinks arrived promptly via using the app. Sadly the vegetarian menu is just so boring...ended up just having cheesy chips..please jazz up that side of the menu..im sure lots of vegetarians are left dissastisfied and i guess its probably the brewerys decision..but vegetarians/vegans are big business now and we like much more exciting food than chickpeas..mushrooms and the old classic hullumi..lots of choice for meat eaters.

Always excellent service and food. Staff super friendly and attentive. Good idea to book beforehand in evenings. 16/7/19- what a disappointing meal. Usually brilliant. Today, sadly. Steaks came out o NOT sizzling plates, with just a few sad half cold chips. Waited..then went to ask where is pur peppercorn sauce..came out ICE cold. Had to search for waitress again...she brought 2 fresh sauces...but now steak/chips were cold. Table next to us...steak was brought out Sizzling...yum...lots of fresh chips..smoking coming off plate...one good thing, our cold steak was soft. Was pressed for time, otherwise would have se t whole lot back...pay attention!!!

The pub was busy on a Wednesday lunch time, there was only one young girl behind the bar trying to serve drinks and take food orders. We ordered food and it took nearly an hour before we got it. We asked the young lad why it took so long and he said no staff!!! The food was ok but nearly cold we didn't say anything because we felt sorry for the staff. My friend who I was with said she'd had the same problem a couple of weeks before.

Reasonable food, good prices. Shows the football and has Saturday night entertainers. A big frustration is that they pay for Sky Sports, but have the sound at a barely audible level no matter the match being shown. Despite getting decent numbers to watch due to a lack of competing pubs locally, the football gets treated as an afterthought.

Great place to meet old friends in a modern setting. The big TV with football and a few good beers experience.....the Guiness was very good. A decent choice on the extensive menu for non-meat eaters and even have a separate short Gluton free menu for Coliacs which I haven't come across before. Go for the vegetarian steak and ale pie as a Sunday special (large or small) and a meal for two is quite reasonable and very tasty for a change. Its perfectly possible to get away from all the gafawwing football guys and have a quiet chat. I managed somehow not to have a desert as I'm trying to cut down but they looked pretty good as far as I could tell. Next time I go to see my oldest friend in Northampton I might suggest we go there again as I really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food on a Sunday afternoon. Thank you Whitehills

Parking good, food good and reasonably priced. Has a nice little play area for young children. Also has a nice outdoor seating area. Unfortunately given 4 stars due to indoor deco (dated & dark), the staff seem quite relaxed and dont seem to be quite dynamic as I think they should be. Highly recommend making a reservation, as they seem to hold the tables for ages! We visited recently, 7 tables were reserved, so we had to sit outside, ee had drinks and food & the children played, before we left we visited the bathroom to see that every one of the 7 tables were still reserved and no one had sat at them while we were there. Just a shame that they may have missed out on possible customers due to holding these tables.

As I hate Football we asked the manager if we could move-there was only 5 people there, so 95% of the tables were empty but it wasnt possible he said! Ok, so the food is good, and some meals have good portion sizes; unlike the flipping cheese and bacon burger I bought. It was basically the normal burger with one additional thin slice of bacon and one square of processed cheese. And don't start me about the 6 (count them) waffle chips. SIX. Really guys?
