Reviews of Lamb Inn

One of the best Sunday roasts we had. We had mixed meat and lamb shanks. Beer selection was great. Prices very reasonable. Service was prompt. The chocolate cake is so rich and yummy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. We had an outdoor seat and the atmosphere was really great on a Sunday afternoon. Would come back anytime for another round of feast again. Well done Lamb Inn!

A hidden gem in the heart of the city
A huge courtyard if you want alfresco
Plenty of room inside upstairs and downstairs
Although there's a lot of people, it's very easy to get served. You order the food and pay at the same time
Starters I had baked smoked haddock and cheese fish cake followed by pork roast and topped off with sticky toffee rum sponge absolutely delicious complements to the chef
The staff are very friendly and very helpful
Highly recommend this establishment

Very decent up-market vibe in the centre of Norwich. Large outdoor area with plenty of seating. Our table was a little wonky and we got watered when the hanging baskets did, but enjoyed our time.
Price not too bad and the usual suspects on tap. Solid stop if on a daytime Norwich pub crawl.

I ordered lamb shank on the application here for table serve. 30 minutes later they came up and said that they are sorry and they have finished lamp shanks. They offered me either a refund or to change the meal. They were polite. I really didn't like any other option but because I was with friends of conference I had to take something. Then after that it took them many other minutes to prepare the steak. So I was waiting total of 45 minutes. Eventually they returned half the price of lamb shank as a mitigation. But I just didn't like the steak and I didn't enjoy. But I think their food was good in general except the steak I had. It's fun probably to go here. In general I liked the quality of their other things like the dessert I had, the brownie with icecream was very nice.

Had a cheeky shandy and a great chicken salad. Well deserved on the hottest day of 20 22
Thanks Lamb inn

Always had a good meal at the Lamb Inn but the recent burger with pork and bacon was amazing.
Good selection of real ales and craft beer. Nice to see Tiny Rebel and Jaipur both on tap.
Staff were all very friendly too.
Inside they have sky sports but it never feels too roudy or uninviting.
Great not so hidden gem!!

Extremely impressive pub in Norwich city centre. As an out of country visitor I found their selection of beers very impressive and I loved sitting out in the courtyard on a sunny day. Didn’t try the food but what I saw in front of other guests looked fantastic so I’ll have to visit again!

We sat and ate outside which was exvellent as the weather suited it. The atmosphere and vibe was great. It's dog friendly and as we have a friendly dog he got plenty of fuss. As the evening got cooler the heaters came on so we could remain outside.
The service was friendly, polite and happy. The food was good too. I enjoyed the sausages and mash for main then the crumble of the day with custard.
Brilliant central location, outside is a coutyard which is mostly enclosed by surrounding buildings making it feel like a little sheltered hide away in what can be bustling surroundings.
Happily recommend this for somewhere to meet up and chat, chill, and to have something to eat. All with the added bonus of being dog friendly.
