Visited the Otter and took advantage of their very attractively priced 2 meal deal. Upbeat and tidy spacious pub with friendly bar staff. Food was excellent even more so for the money ! Clean seats, tables and cutlery. Plenty of choice on the menu. This one is an easy one to recommend!

Best sports pub in Norwich! If you are a sport fan, who wants to be around sports fans, this is the place for you! Great staff, I believe they do food too, can't go wrong! Will definitely go back again! They even have a Urine Sample on the bar! ( only joking, it shows you what the Ale looks like ) 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Excellent food, really really good, freshly cooked and tasty, and bigger than expected. Friendly staff, fast service, nothing too much trouble, he checked in on us and made sure it was all ok. Very friendly staff and couldn't do enough to help but with only half a pub full our food took well over an hour to get to us and all four dishes either had items missing or items that had run out and no initial offer to replace with alternative. The food we had was very tasty and staff very attentive but definitely needed more staff as they were struggling.

Lovely interior. Just called in for hot drinks while waiting for an appointment. 1. No decaf. How hard is it to stock decaf teabags? 2. No latte...don't do latte (despite having a perfectly normal-looking coffee machine). Surely just a matter of staff training. Surprisingly, no biscuit with the drinks - pretty normal most places these days. The tea and coffee we got were fine, just not the choices you would expect from a food-based pub.

Good food, although the hp sauce on our table was a couple of months out of date so I gave it to the guy who brought our food out and he put it back in the cupboard and brought another out of date one 😂

Let me say when it comes to the otter I am biased and I love the place. Its a basic little pub with simple fair priced food but it's always delicious 😋 and the staff and atmosphere are always pleasant and welcoming. You want posh and five stars go elsewhere but you want fun and good fair priced food thia cannot come more highly recommended

Nice atmosphere. Drinks are reasonable prices, food is good and again a good price. There's a decent sized family area away from the main pub, there's loads of tv's inside because there's always lots of football games on. Good sized parking area out front too. Something for everyone.

I rarely visit Greene King hotels or pubs since their Covid crazy restrictions took the pleasure out of the experience. The company really knows how to make a place miserable. Otherwise this is an attractive, interesting building with obliging and thoughtful young staff. Unfortunately they remain muzzled which surely threatens their health and sanity. Now it's back to the private pub in my converted garage., with no masks, no chemical station, no signing-in and no unsocial distancing.

My very own local pub. Can be a little busy and loud at times if you're only after a quiet evening drink as they show a lot of sport. Good place to catch up with people you know and a fun quiz on Wednesday nights. Food served here is very reasonably priced and service is quick. The staff here are always polite and friendly and even offer to take drinks to your table if they're not quite poured yet.

Excellent customer service. All staff are really friendly. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Three huge televisions to watch. Massive garden and lovely upstairs outdoor patio. Huge pub and even has a pool table. Great pub indeed and lots of parking.

Since the reopening, I've found customers and staff friendly and welcoming. Great nights such as quiz, disco and poker league. Look forward to pool and darts nights too. Food is much improved and served with a smile. Good selection of ales, wines and beers. It's great that it's situated on a regular bus route so no worries about my car. I'll definite return as much as as possible.

The otter was a pleasant place and staff very friendly. However was let down by the food. It just wasn't quite up to scratch, the steak in a mixed grill was all completely gristle and inedible. The meals generally lacked something. I know it's a budget restaurant, however having used other restaurants part of the same chain and not finding a single fault with their food, this was just disappointing. The other restaurants food even looked better in person than those airbrushed menu photos! Overall it was ok, I'd not rush back, but again I'd not avoid it if invited out there.

Went for a charity bike ride from Norwich out to Taverham on the Marriott's Way. All met up at The Otter for a buffet lunch before cycling back. The landlord and landlady couldn't have been more helpful: opening up the rear gate for bike storage, providing a lovely spread of food and being great hosts. Thanks.
