Follow the gate out of the back of the pub and you are in a glorious field on a gorgeous part of the river. We sat here all day drinking from the pub and Swimming in the river. When the sun is out it is the perfect location!

M. F.Lovely Family run local pub. Massive outdoor areas including a secure garden overlooking hundreds of acres of beautiful countryside with river frontage. Beer and spirits are well priced too.
D. G.Living in London, I see less and less of these kind of places. Most have been gentrified into soulless money-makers. Nice welcoming atmosphere, and charming place with good drinks. A favourite when visiting my parents.
