Lovely old pub in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff and locals. Had a lovely fish and chip meal along with a well kept pint of real ale. There is a smaller portions menu as well as the full menu and sandwiches. Dog friendly. Nice garden and big car park.

Great place for any occasion, there recently for my small leaving drinks evening. Been a few times, outside in garden is great, marquee for a function, dining huts in garden and bar and eating area inside too. Staff are all very friendly, food is great with very good size portions. Had some bowls of chips on Friday which were fantastic. Good selection of all drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice traditional pub, very local. Pity we couldn't try the kitchen as it was closed at the time. Good selection of beers and friendly people. They also had a pub ball game which I don't know the name of! Overall very nice

Stumbled across this lovely pub and very glad we did. Immediately greeted by a lovely lady behind the bar who made us feel very welcome instantly. Reasonably priced drinks and good prices on the food which was very generous on the portion sizes. Nice little play area in the lovely beer garden.

Visiting the area from Switzerland it was a real treat to be taken here by my friends. My brief was, a traditional pub with a roaring open fire, first class ale and good food. The Fox and Hounds certainly ticked all the boxes. Hands down the best pub of a two week trip to England.

Lovely friendly pub. New area in Garden which is undercover and looks pretty. Bbq burger was yummy. Dogs were welcomed. Garden nice. Be aware not fenced off on roadside.

Stopped here after a driving experience at the local airfield. WOW what can I say about this pub apart from OUTSTANDING! We were met by friendly faces and staff. Ordered drinks and sat out in the well cared for garden. Ordered our food beef burger, veggie burger, chilli con carne and the fish and chips. Its all freshly made, so had to wait a little bit, but its worth the wait. The food was outstanding, fresh, great portions and tasted amazing. Well done the chef 👨‍🍳 👏 👍 Desert didn't disappoint us either. The lemon cheese cake and the chocolate brownie were just as amazing as the mains. I couldn't recommend this pub more highly, it's just a shame we had travelled for 2 hours otherwise this would be our local! Well done to everyone at The Fox & Hounds 👏👏

Loved it here. Little wooden huts that you can have to yourself. Lovely and cosy, to eat Sunday dinner with friends and family. Food great too. Would definitely recommend a visit here. I saw a marquee in the back, so must cater for wedding functions etc

Visit here, usually weekly, for lunch with friends. The three course lunch is great value. Staff are always helpful and accommodate requests we make. Very friendly atmosphere.

A lovely friendly pub with good food and very professional happy staff, which says a lot for the management. Even the locals are friendly ( lol ) and I’m one of them, although I live two and a half miles away and there are pubs much closer to me I choose to cycle to the Fox & hounds most times for a bit of friendly banter, a pint or two and some good inexpensive food some times. Visited The Fox and Hounds to celebrate our 38 anniversary, they fitted us in at short notice and were extremely welcoming and friendly. Last time I was there it was when I signwrote their external signs ! 15-20years ago We had a lovely meal in a traditional pub with a relaxing ambient atmosphere, promised them we will return and hold a karaoke for them if they wish. Definitely worth a visit good beers, varied range of gins, wines and spirits Lovely friendly staff 👍

Can't fault it. Brilliant old place full of original beams & atmosphere. A small but really nice pub, sympathetically glammed for modern tastes but keeping the olde worlde so a nice rustic mix. Slightly posh but not unaffordable, fairly simple menu which I'm sure would be good. Didn't stop to eat but nay go back to try. Nice pub in a quiet situation off the beaten track.

Lovely cosy pub on a cold day. Nice food. A little slow serving when we were there, but probably due to a lot of people calling in after driving cars at the nearby Tibenham race track. Would definitely go back.
