D. S.I've been something of a regular here since its last renovation and can't believe I haven't reviewed it before. It's always my goto location in the city. It always has the perfect balance of lively atmosphere without being too rowdy. The owners and all the staff are not just welcoming and friendly but also very fast and competent.
A. C.This is a busy city centre pub, good mix of people, sport on tv at the end, good music. Gets busy and we have had to stand both times we have been on a Saturday afternoon but that added to the vibe.

P. H. (. P.Recently refurbished and very nicely done. Quite a small town centre pub, it was fairly quiet after lunch but got busier through Saturday afternoon. Good that they had three bitters on plus pumps for cider and lager as well as Blue Moon Belgian beer. The pints I had were very good.
There was comfortable seating, the staff were friendly and they welcome dogs so this will be a nice addition in the city we can go with the dog.
There is a small snack menu and we did order crisps, unfortunately these are actually nachos which weren't what we wanted. The pastries on the bar did look good though.
S. G.Had a lovely time in The Wildman, friendly staff, great selection of cocktails (the Salted Caramel Maloko was amazing!), and clean facilities for when you break that seal! I will definitely be going again and I know my friends will be, too!
H. F.Good setting. Music is ok. It's an older crowd. Which is pretty cool! One thing I didn't like was the minimum of £5 for using your card. I was only ordering drinks for myself so I didn't need to spend more than £5. The barman was cool.

I have to say this is not a foodie pub not much choice at all ,it's a beer and atmosphere pub .
