Best pub in hucknall. Very friendly staff and locals are good company. I spend a lot of weekends in this place and absolutely love it. The choice of beers is bar far the best in the town and rivals some of the bigger pubs in the city centre. My dog loves this place too and gets spoilt by everyone in there.

Great place. Endless selection of beers ...only place in hucknall that does salted caramel gin! run by great people. No one could ask for better landlord/landlady than mark and michelle...

Good selection of cask ales and solid range of bottles to takeaway - and thankfully not all in the fridge! Service very friendly and five tables at varying heights makes for a comfortable spot for a variety of occasions. Location is just off the high street.

I've always liked the beer shack since it opened. The early closing time confuses me but in general a very nice place. Its changed a lot since I last visited, behind the bar and the walls. What we noticed when we first walked in was the strange smell and the cherry beer was to warm. Easy things to fix.

5 ales/stouts on pump, ciders, gins, whiskeys, and rums behind the bar. Dozens upon dozens of different ales, sours, ipas, stouts etc in the fridge and the wall for taking home or drinking in. Excellent prices, amazing atmosphere, always friendly faces in the pub. Such a great place to go to. Don't be fooled by the other micro pubs in the area. The first in hucknall is definitely the best!
