J.Great decor and atmosphere with nice staff. Wings and halloumi fries were great with amazing choice of sauces, cocktails were decent.
S. P.Decent chicken wing restaurant in city centre with a romantic feel. Limited choice on menu focusing mainly on chicken wings with lots of different seasoning and sauce options. Wings with Teriyaki sauce were very tasty however disappointed that the boneless wings were actually chicken strips and not de-boned wings. However to be fair it does say on the menu they are ‘Southern Fried’. Would of rated higher however table was sticky with food residue, no one checked in with me to see how my food was and also no hand paper towels by the communal wash basin.
S. K.What a refreshing change. 1/2 price wings until 10pm every night (Jan 2017). Lovely atmosphere, friendly bar staff. Not a great beer selection, it's all very 'boutique', but of you like that, there are lots of choices to drink something you've never heard of. Worth a visit.

Cocktails are a pricey £7.50, especially if you want it as a mocktail like I did (was driving), because they charge the same price. The seating and tables outside are a bit rickety, but this adds to the ambience.

C.I have been there many many times... Really nice chicken wings with all good sauces (try the spicist one if you dare!) , tastey cocktails and all other delicious sides. More importantly, it's really cheap. Definitely recommend it to everyone.
C.We had Teriyaki and Maple Bourbon chicken wings, the maple were super sweet, otherwise pretty good. The music was hella loud but it was a Saturday night so fair enough. They should serve wet wipes with their saucy wings, sticky hands were an issue.

m. “.Bunk is an ever-reliable stop when you're in Nottingham City Centre. I've been frequenting from when I was at University and its just as reliable today as it was back then.
They have a wonderful variety of flavours for your wings, whether you're into sweet, spicy or smokey. Or if you're veggie / vegan, these requirements are now catered for too.
Out of COVID, the weekday offers on wings / cocktails are always top notch however with indoor eating opening up again - you don't mind coming in and paying a little extra for a good atmosphere, good food and to support a local business.
One thing I would call out is - the wings are on the smaller side. So you may want to order a few more than you usually would from a different wing restaurant.
W. C.Went to bunk originally a few years ago at uni and was amazing, came back last week and left extremely disappointed! Don't get me wrong, the wings are good but I wouldn't say excellent. The cocktails were very watered down and service, although friendly, wasn't great. Two of our orders were completely missed and generally took ages to come, to the point we were told our table was up before the food arrived, may just be one bad experience as previous times were great.

I can't remember much aside from the place being quite cool in terms of setting, the staff being really friendly and the chicken being tasty. However the thing that's burned into my head is the Naga chilli hot sauce... Bruh 😰😱🤯 do not eat this. Seriously. Don't do it. 😑 Lol I'm not even a wetter when it comes to spice, Jamaican background, we love spice! But this was some next level craziness, from a single dip of one chip I thought I had ruined my night. It was awful for sooooo long, my other friend actually was sick! Lol, I know dramatic right... It's up to you, but I've done my duty, I've let you know how bad it is so you can't say you weren't warned! Haha ;)

The cocktails are fine but a little standard and not quite as good as I would hope for the money. IMO stick with the (very good) beer and wings!

Half price wings and £4.50 house cocktails every day of the week makes this once of the best value places to go for food and drinks with friends. The wings are exceptional with a range of sauces to accompany them. They always arrive hot and fast. The cocktails are good quality for the price and the staff are always lovey. Can’t beat. A must for wing fans in Nottingham.

A.Moderately priced cocktails with a happy hour offer. The cocktails are tasty and the range of food is good. It can get quite busy at times but at others it's empty, so the atmosphere varies entirely depending on what day of the week it is.

R. W.I absolutely love Bunk! We normally go to the one on Lower Parliament street but been to this one a few times too. Whenever my girlfriend suggests going for food, I’ll immediately say “Bunk?” I love the wings... I’m an expert at eating them too (yes, there is a technique) variety of sauces, good sides and cheap cocktails. Service is quick and a great vibe. Sometimes, the music is a little loud for the time of day. But no bother! Also, if you’re tall like me, you’ll need to duck a lot because of the low hanging lights.

T. P.Half price wings and cheaper cocktails most days between 6 and 10pm means that if you like wings, here's a good place to go to fill up. Plenty of sauces and a few very tasty non-wing options ( including veggie nuggets, mozzarella sticks, hotdogs and a decent selection of fries of different types) means that those not wanting meat on the bone are still happy. Good sized cocktails, especially for the £4.50 reduced price!
R. K.Some excellent chicken wings, I recommend the Parmesan and Buffalo varieties. Don't have the Naga unless you have an extremely high tolerance for spice, as these are extremely strong. Good range of cocktail choices, beers behind the bar and on pump. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of room for friends to gather and enjoy time together.

R. M.Great wings. I tried three flavours on my visit. The Buffalo wings were as good as I’ve had in most places. The Habanero ones tasted of plenty hot sauce flavour. Hot BBQ was a hit and one of the best on the table with the Buffalos. I smashed three of the Naga Viper Chilli wings, I’d probably give them a miss if you want to enjoy your evening.
I liked the place and its effort to be a good wings shop. The price is good too, all wings are half price before 10.

They have a massive menu full of great cocktails, decent beers too. Theres a ton of seating downstairs so there's normally somewhere to sit, though it does get real busy at the weekend.
The wings here are great, they do a couple of offers so you can make a decent night out of wings and drinks, the hot wings are real hot, warning, use the gloves they give you.

G. S.This has become one of my new favourite places. It's one if the most chilled out bars in the city. Cheap food in the form if chips and wings, followed by a decent selection of spirits and local and international beer (US and Canadian when I went).
For those with an inner gamer, it has several retro game machines with hundreds of classics. There's nothing like playing 2 player metal slug over a few drinks!

This is coming from someone who loves spicy food. This chili pepper was rated the world's hottest in 2011 by the Guinness book of world records and is more than five times hotter than the habbenaro pepper. You may be able to get through eating them while you are there, but the toughest part comes the next day.....

J. K.I think there are two in Nottingham and we went to the basement one which was like walking into a Speakeasy joint in the 1920s! Very unassuming from the outside but once inside a good selection of beers and cocktails, all at a reasonable price before 2100 hrs on a Saturday night (£4 a cocktail).
We will def go again, perfect for pre and post drinks when attending an event at the Ice Arena
