The Byrons Rest Micropub is a shear delight to have a drink and meet with friends or join in the locals in conversation. Selection of well-kept real ales, great lagers and real ciders joined from the top shelf by a myriad of gins, vodkas, and other quaffable spirits, all served by fantastic staff, management, and owner. Regular ale festivals held throughout the year and Tuesday is cheese night, bring a wedge of cheese and share the others brought that evening (or pay a £1) Not to be missed when in the town centre of Hucknall.

Lovely little place. Great selection of cider's. The place is small but very cosy, warm and inviting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we asked for the tram times. The lady behind the bar even offered to download the app for us.

This little pub is a real gem. Everyone is so friendly and there's a great selection of real ales to choose from (I like their own 'Byron's Best' or the Plum Porter). Watch out for the special events too, quite a varied programme, something to appeal to everyone. I couldn't get over how welcome they made me right from my first visit.

A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and staff. Byrons Rest is a lovely independently run pub selling a good selection of real ales and local ciders as well as lagers and spirits. Very cozy inside with real fires for the colder weather. Lovely outside hidden garden space. Well worth giving it a try if you have not been before, you will not be disappointed.

Wee little place in the heart of Hucknall's thriving real ale bar scene. Unsurprisingly, lots of real ales to sample. No awful piped music, although there is a piano which is sometimes awfully played. Great place.

A most welcome find beer festival was on excellent beers on tap and hand pull staff were very friendly and helpful 4 stars for this bar toilet on the small side.

Went here for new years eve and had a lovely time. I'm not a real ale drinker like my bro,but if you are,there's plenty of beers on offer. I'm a lager drinker,so when I found out that they had Estrella damn on draft I was well made up.Good atmosphere and friendly staff,definitely meeting our bro there again soon.

Put it this way ,if this was my place I would be blowing my own trumpet! Just want to say it's one of the best real ale establishment's this town has,not just a good selection of pale and dark ales but they're all well kept and that's a big bonus! Gin and wine is good too but that's not my thing,Maybe for a night cap lol! The staff are well trained and very polite,always willing to help! One night of the week is cheese night and there's always pork pie floating around. It's just a great atmosphere, not clicky like some other places. I'd recommend it to anyone, just a night out or with the family and the two log burners are a great bonus in winter! Don't worry I don't work here lol I'm just here a lot because it's that good ;)

My favorite pub in hucknall. Always a good atmosphere and very comfortable. Whenever I'm waiting for someone or meeting for a drink I ways pick here. Prices are good and they have my favorite ale titanic plum port alot of the time. Do not change.

Friendly staff and decent beers, I just wish they would have a little more choice instead of the plum porter all the time. Still it is a nice beer and it's a relaxing, dog friendly micro pub right in the centre of town.

Brand new micro pub for Hucknall. Good selection of real ales, ciders and Estrella on draft, all priced sensibly. Only opened a few days ago so cosmetically it is still being finished off. Made to feel welcome by the owner and other customers. Highly recommended for a nice cosy chat with friends.

Staff freindly...very helpful with order...unfortunately it is let down with the ladies toilet...not sure if urine on floor or water..but took quite a bit of toilet roll to soak it up...also a very dirty mop in the corner...saying that beer was nice..it's the same everywhere we go...it gets let down with poor toilet facilities.....keep up the good work your doing but please pay a little more attention to the toilets...Merci beaucoup.x
