A. F.Weird time to go to a pub at the end of a pandemic. And even weirder it was going to the Fox & Grapes (you have to love pub names), and even weirder that I had never been.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. It was completely my bag, packed with not the trendy and loaded types, more sort of a bit on the bohemian side types.
Lovely local beers, and reasonably priced wines, which were actually all right.
W. B.The pasta was amazing! It was my first time trying ragu and I will forever remember it. The pasta comes slightly aldente and the sauces are super flavourful. Make sure to book ahead as this popular spot is always busy. Unfortunately they didn’t have any Parmesan when I visited and also the staff seemed very keen for us to leave at the end (as we were there at the end of the night).

B. E.Great place, definitely a pub rather than a bar, however it's light and airy not dark and 'traditional'.
Plenty of seating, with almost as much outside as inside, perfect for summer.
Excellent range of beers, cask, keg, and a fridge full of cans and bottles including some specialist beers for the dedicated...e.g. Buxton Yellow Belly.
Food looked great, the Flatbread and humus was awesome, bonus points for Sauce Shop sauces.
It's located around the corner from Neon Raptor tap room so be sure to visit here if you're planning a visit to Neon Raptor.
c. k.Wow! First time I’ve been in here for about 30 years. What a brilliant make over by castle rock- well done! Great range of beers and a good selection of food for what must be a small kitchen.

They have some great beer on tap and plenty of seating inside and out.

A. W.Good selection of beers including craft and traditional bitters. And Staropramen served in lovely branded glasses. Very pleasant and helpful staff and good food. And doggy bags provided too. Good location by Sneinton market, almost close enough to be my local.
M. K.Very friendly and excellent keep beer with a lot of unusual ales to try. I visit regularly and it is handy for hotels, trams, busses, trains all are within a short walk and right near to the motorpoint areana. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone who is fed up with loud music and fruit machines. Quiz nights, and pop up street food is a great touch you don't see at many pubs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and very well presented.
N. T.Superb. Excellent selection of ale and gin. Staff are brilliant, knowledgeable and very friendly. Eclectic selection of pizzas (including the intriguiing hummous and spinach version) and a location just on the edge of Sneinton Market. Crowd is creatives, some beer nerds, hipsters and locals. Very clean, nice crowd, good prices. Multiple sockets and USB points, decent WiFi. Great for an afternoon pint and snack, or a more lively evening. Some outdoor seating and in summertime it's a glorious location right in the city centre.
P. L.Decent beer list as expected for a Castle Rock venue including craft. Students predominated on my visit. Not surprisingly given the location but the food looked tasty.
P. d. W.Sadly devoid of both grapes or foxes, but stuffed full of great beers and ales. Requisite furniture already in place, so no need to bring your own. Great for social occasions.

D. S.A Castle Rock Brewery pub in the Sneinton Market. Great selection of both cask and draft local beers. Another place added to the will stop in again list next time we are in Nottingham. Also clean toilets.

The staff are somewhat condescending.
However the drinks are good.
B. D.Top quality beer and atmosphere once again from a new Castle Rock pub. Def worth a visit for a pint and maybe a bite to eat. Great to see this as part of the revival of Sneinton Market.
D.I really like this place, the Pizza is great (with veggie options), good selections of (local) beers. Worth a visit if you're around...especially if something is taking place at the Motorsport Arena (e.g. Ice Hockey).
E. C.A classic Castle Rock pub but one of my favourites. Good beers, simple food, iconic venue. Clean and comfortable. A nice location in a funky up and coming area.

A.Lovely place. Great food and ales and always a good atmosphere. Nice place to come and chill. I ordered the flatbread with bacon, stilton and pear chutney. Was amazing and deceivingly filling! Well worth it! Very reasonable.
