Popped in here for quick pint whilst my partner was visiting an elderly family member in one of the local homes. The bar staff were friendly and the lager I had was cold and refreshing! The beer garden was great for the kids and had shade enough to keep out of the sun, if so wished. A good, honest pub with plenty of clientele . It was pleasantly busy when I visited.

Great local bar with a jukebox and a pool table. There's an outside area for kids as well and they are very accommodating for children. New landlord who has changed the vibe of the bar recently from it's old dim and gloomy status.

Fabulous traditional pub with friendly staff & welcoming landlord, loads of big screens showing Sky & BT Sports, family friendly large rear garden with new designated play area & equipment, patio area with lighting, pool table, traditional pub games!! Great range of drinks...dog friendly can’t fault well worth a visit

This could be a good pub if run properly. Service left some thing to be desired. When the staff I presumed to be the landlord/ manager eventually decides to serve you and looks at you like something he just trod in. Because you dragged him away from talking to his mates hogging the bar

It's a locals but friendly. Two real ales. Used to be my local 20 years ago. Found better pubs closer to home. Saying that the jolly is not a bad pub.

Lovely local ,friendly atmosphere , new manager in Paul who seems to try hard to keep the place busy with live music and the odd karaoke night's, with sky sports for all your football nuts.
