Lovely unspoiled local pub serving a good range of beers

Called in for a drink Sunday afternoon after a good walk. Good choice of hand pumped beer, I only had one but it was very nice. Only one member of staff on but it wasn't busy and he was very pleasant and friendly

Thursday Pizza night at the Marquis prepared by Pizza Pals. I have been lucky enough to eat pizza all over the world and have found that the best pizzas are made 1 mile from my house 😆 Nice pint whilst we were waiting 😁

The Marquis is the best pub I know. Excellent beer, great staff, and good prices. As far as I'm concerned there is no downside to this pub and I am very picky! Everyone I meet there is friendly so the atmosphere is great. Long live the MOG!

Nice little village pub with a hood selection of beers , two smallish rooms with a cosy atmosphere

Great beer, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Thursday is pizza night when the Pizza Pals wood fired oven in a van visits the MoG. The pizza is superb. Occasional quiz nights are good fun with free chips at half time. What more could you want?
