We booked a table for 7pm , it was a good job because it was quite busy. Two for one cocktails....it's a must then. Enjoyed nachos sharing plate to start, very tasty. Then we had a wait for the main course to arrive. When the main course was brought to the table only two arrived and the other two meals took another 10 minutes to get to the table. This meant two of us had half eaten our meals when the other meals arrived. The food was good though. Oh and live music was a nice addition.

Such a nice place to go with friends. Really nice decor and the toilets were beautiful! Food was delicious and drinks were good, just a bit pricey!

Our meals were extremely delicious. We did not have to wait for too long to be seated, although we did not have a reservation. You can download their app, select the meals on their app and make payment right away. Our meals were plated quickly. The live music was pleasant and it was not deafening so we could chat uniterruptedly. We have no qualms about recommending this restaurant to anyone! It is really worth it!

I’m not a fan of chains usually but this place is exceptional! We generally visit on a Sunday lunch, the tapas menu is extensive and amazing value! Great cocktails! The food is exceptional, tries most items and simply 10/10, and good portions too! The building itself and interior is beautiful! Great staff! What’s not to like, absolutely no negatives!

We had a great bottomless brunch with Eddie. We couldn’t book online & last minute rang direct & Eddie booked us in with 1 hour to spare on a bank holiday weekend. As a result of our late booking weren’t expecting much but overall this was the best bottomless brunch experience we’ve had. Food was fantastic & numerous drink choice with a amazing. Without asking the waitress/waitresses brought us numerous choices from the menu. After 90 minutes we all commented on what a great experience we had with drink choice, food options & outstanding surroundings. This was a 10/10 visit & we’ll certainly be coming back again. A special mention to Eddie who not only booked us in last minute but was attentive, professional went beyond his job to make us feel welcome. This was an amazing experience. Thank you

Arrived early for brunch….seated and order taken….transpired chef wasn’t ready for one hour. Long and the short of it, food was lovely, and waiter was very apologetic, and then offered us both a Strawberry Dauquiri on the house, as an apology! Loved it, inshort term this place is very nice place to go, decorated wonderful they make different types of cocktail is served on two floors. They have a very small balcony outside we're u can go for the smoke. entertainment the music DJs in the venue that go there really good. I think if you're going to go out with some friends and maybe on a date.

This place ticked all the boxes for me from the member of staff at the front door end explaining the procedure regarding leaving our details for the covid track and trace to when we are seated on how to order. We were waited on by DRE the manager who had the best ever people skills Dre was friendly pleasant and helpful when we were ordering our food as we wasn't an easy bunch of girls. The atmosphere was very pleasant other members of staff was helpful with smiles on their face. Dre keep up the good work as it shows on the well being of your staff. Revolucion de Cuba is a cosy dance room/club, restaurant, pub, fun place! The DJs are incredible! The staff are very courteous, the place is quite bubbly but isn't quite notorious for being overcrowded. Call it a club! But it sure isn't for everyone. Entry is subjected to stiff security screening and checks. Really lovely environment. It's got a smoking area, a club/dance hall upstairs as well downstairs, something that looks like a sitting lobby at the right corner by the entrance, another inner space where people can have private dinner or just group sitting. This is not one of those clubs you walk into and would have to manage a melange of drunk irate teenagers.

Fantastic cocktail bar. When we visited, they had a live band that was great, and the deco is relaxing and like being in Cuba. Great choose of cocktails. It was little price's and no two for one offers. But for treat or catch up with friends, good place to go.

Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere when we arrived was wonderful, it was busy and lively and all the staff were very kind and helpful. The food was excellent. We went on a Sunday so all the tapas and cocktails were 2 for 1 and I ordered the roast sweet potato and smokey chicken skewers (both were so tasty) and the Virgin zombie cocktail. I really enjoyed being able to try bits of everyone's dishes and didn't find one that I disliked! Highly recommend especially on a Sunday as technically half of your food and drinks are free.

Nice decor. Staff friendly. Food was average. Chorizo was good. I didn't like the sauce with the lambondigas but my husband enjoyed it. The patatas bravas were luke warm which is a shame because they were nice. Most disappointing was the 'crusty bread' with oil. Certainly was not crusty. The oil was without balsamic vinegar so I asked for some. Didn't make it any better! Drinks were a bit expensive but you expect that in the middle of town although Wetherspoons not too far away you can get a bottle of wine for 49p more than the one glass cost! All in all a bit of a disappointment

Our lovely lady, Natasha, was the only waitress on shift on a bottomless brunch, but my goodness did she soldier on!! Such a great waitress, got all our drinks to us even though the restaurant was packed and definitely needed at least 3 other staff. Thanks girl! The only bottomless brunch where you’ll get loads of complimentary stuff out of nowhere. Got free canapés and bottles of Prosecco purely out of goodwill. Staff ready and attentive. The only reason it’s not 5* is that the grilled breakfast wasn’t sensational... Bacon chewy and egg slightly undercooked. But that’s not what bottomless brunch is about! Would recommend all day long!

Love love love this place. The cocktails are amazing! Service can be slow as making cocktails can take time but it's worth the wait. The bar can get a little busy and cosy but often there's a corner you can find a table in if you want to sit and have a few drinks.

Great atmosphere, fantastic food and extremely helpful staff, especially Charlotte. She went out her way to ensure ourselves and the other customers were well cared for and had everything they needed. She made helpful suggestions about what drinks would go with what dish and was spot on. She was helpful but not pushy and created the perfect balance to make us feel welcome and special without making us feel uncomfortable or rushed. The food was excellent as were the cocktails. I shall be returning and bringing my friends.

To begin with I would like to say this place is awesome, excellent atmosphere, incredible drinks, great staff, a great night out. If this is what you're after, ignore the rest of this review. However, statements saying this place is disabled accessible can be interpreted differently depending on the disability. Wheelchairs should be advised that there is temporary ramp accessibility, and the incline is steep and can be inaccessible to some kinds of electric wheelchair, even if there is a strong man involved. This shouldn't reflect on the location itself, but is being highlighted as an indication of accessibility for those who require it.

Excellent place, I came on a night out and it was pretty busy. There's an upstairs offering more dancing than downstairs but the fun is downstairs. The bar stops every so often and light fireworks, or pop glitter bombs. Brazilian dancing girls welcome you. Would go again.

Really nice venue, contemporary styling and well lit, smart toilets and a good smoking area. The cocktails were well made and tasted great but the beer was expensive. The layout didn't seem great for the amount of people in there, everyone was crammed in between two seating areas and it was so busy it took over 40 minutes to get a drink on the bank holiday. Great place will definitely be going again.

Always love the food here! Great drinks, nice atmosphere. Holly seated us and took our order, then came back to see how our meal was afterwards, she was lovely and friendly. The guy that we were greeted by and that sorted our bill and payment however was quite rude and was not interested in giving good service. Didn't ask how our meal was or try and interact in any way, except to say 'change is in the box' They had just finished with a rush when we got there and a lot of tables needed clearing, so he told us to get a drink and wait. I dont know why we had to wait for almost all of the tables to be cleaned when we only needed one. If not for Holly and the amazing food then this review would have lost a star or two.

Great vibe all-round! Cocktails are tasty and look great so I feel extra special when drinking them. Some nights the shots on the wooden platter come out, and you just HAVE to limbo underneath it to get a free shot (MAKES MY NIGHT). There are also live bands some nights and maracas were given out one night (whaaaat!?) Staff are always polite, smiley and ready to help even when it gets hectic on a Saturday night (well done to you all guys). I really like that there are 3 very different rooms with music for different tastes. Also, really fun Latin dance classes are held upstairs (the DJ and lights make the night feel unique compared to other Latin social dancing events.) I'm not a fan of the food however... so a strong 4* overall!

Great customer service from Holly tonight, really stood out and helpful even though she wasn't our waitress!! Lovely food, not one single dish was disappointed. Unfortunately Raymond wasn't great, told us he had been busy and no tables was clean. Sent us to the bar, knowing we was waiting he wasn't in any rush to get us seated, no rush to take our order, Holly stepped in and saved our date night and took our order. Raymond didn't do a check back and dropped our change box on the table and said your change is in there quite rudely, shame to have that experience on my first visit.

I've been here for drinks in the evening a few times, but I went for food for the first time on Weds 28th. It was a really nice atmosphere with great live music, and initially the staff welcome was lovely, however after ordering we didn't get our drinks until the food arrived a while later. The food was really good with excellent portion sizes, but it wasn't piping hot - particularly the chips - which made it seem like it maybe hadn't come out straight away? And we weren't approached at any point during the meal to check if everything was alright. Often in restaurants this might be considered unnecessary, but unfortunately on this occasion there was a small issue and I wasn't able to raise this. Overall a nice experience and the restaurant itself is lovely, but unfortunately not the greatest customer service experience. Perhaps it was an unexpectedly busy evening or it was just an off day, and hopefully anyone else visiting will have a great experience.

Hands down the overall best bar in Nottingham. The place looks fantastic, cocktails selection is great, happy hour gets a lot of people in (can take a while to get served) and the live music sets it apart from other places. We've had a few work events here and the staff have been incredibly helpful, food is good and the upstairs dance/club area is great for later on in the night. It's a testament to the place that it's still as popular as ever as a lot of high street bars seem. To come and go after a few months. Well worth a visit either for lunch time meals or evening drinks and dancing. One observation however is that for evening meals I would stay away - it gets very loud in here in the evenings and I wouldn't want to eat a meal with friends in that environment. Can't bring myself to knock off a star for that, so over all top marks!

This was my favourite restaurant/bar, I even celebrated my last years birthday here. So I was very excited to return on the 31st Oct a week before this November national lockdown. The cocktails & food was as lovely as usual, I really enjoyed all that I ordered. The waiting staff who served us appeared friendly & patient as she was wearing a mask so had to repeat what she was saying as it was hard to hear her. The waiting staff who served our drinks wore a viser so we had no issues hearing her clearly even with the low music & other customers speaking loudly in the background. Maybe it's better for all waiting staff to just wear visers instead of masks so customers can hear what they are saying better, especially those with hearing issues. Although we were informed of all the rules & procedures on entering the building via the manager, she was accepting & still welcoming of us although my friend & myself are exempt from wearing masks. Unfortunately this understanding & consideration did not extend to all of her members of staff, including one member of staff who blocked our path right in front of the entrance/exit doors of the restaurant floor as we was making our way out, she stood in front of us & shouted at us in close proximity not 2 meters away telling us to put masks on 3 times without giving us a chance to reply to her first 2 demands. Their was zero consideration for the fact that we don't have masks & are exempt from wearing them. I informed her we are exempt as soon as I could & nicely suggested that she shouldn't be prejudice & should have just asked if we have masks or if we're exempt first, instead of shouting in our faces as she did... This member of staff ignored this & continued to harass us/wanting to argue as we managed to get by her to exit the restaurant & as we walked away out of the building she stood by the main entrance/exit outside the restaurant floor near to the manager & other customers who were entering the restaurant shouting very loudly at us that what she should do is her job, repetitively a few times. We heard her but thought she was being very unprofessional & immature so we didn't show acknowledgement or respond to her volatile outburst. I'm too mature in my mid-thirties to be getting into altercations with unprofessional staff who want to bully or argue with their customers. I am not aware if the manager had words with that member of staff on her unprofessional behaviour or if she condoned it. I do wish to return & be able to have full good experiences their again without any discrimination for being exempt from wearing a mask. I wish that they retrain the staff to ask customers they see standing up without a mask on, if they have a mask? first, that then allows for those who do have one to reply yes & then be asked politely by the staff for them to put their mask on & for those who don't have one to be able to let the staff know that they are exempt. This is a non discriminative way of approaching such an issue & is much more professional & better mannered than just shouting in customers faces to put a mask on, with assuming that everyone can wear one when certain people just can't. Without the staffs no questioning approach of shouting in customers faces demanding they put on masks. I would have given 5 stars. Throughout this Covid-19 situation I have not experienced such issues before in any other restaurant/bar, pub or shopping store, etc. I wish that this restaurant follows their equality & diversity policies & procedures which are actually backed up by the Human Rights Act which is a Judicial Law when incorporating these NOT Judicial Law Covid-19 changing rules like other places are doing. As before this restaurant never showed discrimination towards those with obvious or hidden health conditons & disabilities (most who are now exempt from wearing masks). They've even supported me with mine in various ways on past visits. Now I'll ring in advance to check that they are no longer being discriminative towards their customers in any way for any reason before going back again.

Always come to Revs de Cuba when on a night out in Nottingham and I can highly recommend it. Cocktails are fantastic and it's even better when you go and it's two for one. The tapas here is also really good. It has a brilliant atmosphere and in the evening there is a dress code which the bouncers do seem to strictly enforce so make sure you are keeping to this when coming. I did come here as part of a group of people celebrating a wedding and we were all turned away because someone was wearing a fleece like jumper which was massively disappointing for all involved. Other than the one above incident I've always had a lovely time here and I would recommend it.

Very very slow service for food! We had Pre ordered for a 5.30pm sitting on a Saturday and didn't finished getting our food until past 9pm! Half the starters were missing and didn't come until about 30mins after the rest. Mains all came out together but dessert were nearly and hour later. Some of the staff are rather abrupt & lacking customer service skills. Nice looking venue but service really let's it down. Good for drinks (expensive but to be expected really.. Cocktails are around £10) but I wouldn't go back for food.

Once seated and given our drinks it wasn't untill around 10min passed when a member off staff asked if our order had been taken which it hadn't. When the food came out the member of staff who served us stated he would get some side plates, 5mins passed and I had to go up to ask for them as he didn't come back with them. Once we finished our food we had to wait a considerable amount of time until we could ask for our bill. After waiting over 5min It wasn't untill I stood up ready to take the bill up to the front desk myself a staff member caught my eye, took the money and got my change. Other than the waiting around which ruined the experience, the food was nice.
