m. m.Great little pub in Lenton. Have been here twice recently. Friendly staff and locals, nice atmosphere and a decent sized garden too. It's located just around the corner from the Taste of India restaurant. Beers are kept well, though when we went it seemed to be mostly Cornish ales....Will be back again soon. Many thanks

H.Fantastic place, we were there for 5 hours as waiting for my girlfriends daughter to meet us halfway from Reading to Newcastle to drop a dog off, but unfortunately there was a coach fire on the M1, so my girlfriends daughter got caught up in the traffic for 4 hours, so while we waited at this lovely establishment, we were made to feel more than welcome especially by Alex, who went above and beyond to make our time here as comfortable as possible, even helping out with phone numbers for overnight stay hotels, as of tired drivers amongst our group, ....Alex is a absolute life saver, always maintaining professional customer service, for the whole day, and always made us feel most welcome ,we can't thank her enough, she is an absolute asset to your establishment, thank you so much, for the top marque service .

C. W.A dying breed of strong local character and an interior of its own unique but classic aesthetic. Selection of drinks is pretty standard. Garden is pretty nice and usually features a cat.
X. C.Great cosy, homely pub. Good selection of cask ales and great homecooked food, particularly on Mondays. Pub quiz is great on Wednesdays too. Plenty of locals and a few regulars. Also a fair number of local students and millennials too. All are made welcome.

L.A really lovely old pub, with very welcoming staff, has a corner for all old sailors, and their ships..... Was very poignant, as it reminded me of my dad who was in the navy in WW2..... Lovely, lovely old pub......!!

L.This place is a hidden gem,,,food is amazing,, all home cooked made with tlc,,,prices are really good value for money,,,,, the karaoke night is great fun too,,,,, the tram stops just around the corner so really easy to get to from the other side of town,,,,, you won't be disappointed with this quaint little place as the landlord puts so much effort in,,,,,, looking forward to our next visit
