Proper wood fired Pizzas made fresh to order. Forget anywhere else, these are the best Pizzas in Hucknall. A great little bar too with live entertainment at the weekend. Get there early if want a seat as it gets very busy. There's outdoor seating as well. Review helpful like 👍 follow thanks.

Love this place if you know you know as its tucked away in its own courtyard. Pizza was lovely but couldn't manage it all and drinks are keenly priced. Atmosphere is nice and chilled.

Been here twice both on Saturday nights on a girls night out great atmosphere my sister n cousin love the Pina Colardas. Has heated covered seating area outside, pub not very big,only has 1 male n 1 female toilet and pub gets very busy but overall lovely place we will be back

Wow!! What a hidden gem, my son and I walked in on a Friday night and everyone was super friendly. My son, (a long time dominos avocate) stated that this was the best pizza he had ever had. The news was a little bitter sweet, as I’ve been making my own pizzas for the last year. 😂 But credit where credit is due, he’s right. The place is lovely. The staff are great and the pizza was amazing. Thank you cowshed for an amazing evening.

Can't believe I've waited this long to go! Visited for the first time last night, one of the best pizzas I've ever had (we had a cheesy garlic bread and the vegetable pizza) The person I was with joked about them not doing any sauces - they went and bought a bottle from a nearby shop! We were only kidding but it was such a nice gesture. Will return, gladly.

Popped in with our 5 year old daughter. Wasn't planned. Had wanted to visit for a while though. The staff were great, they did our little one her very own mini pizza which she loved. The lady who I think owned it was really friendly and accommodating - she even showed our daughter how she made the pizzas! The pizzas were lovely - really tasty, my partner said his was on par with the best pizza he'd had and the service was so friendly. Kids are allowed weds, thurs and Sundays (understand not allowing at busier times due to room). This is a fantastic little place and we will definitely be back.

This place is awesome!! Definitely worth a visit. The owners and staff are super friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh and really tasty. The artists they have are really good. Only criticism I personally have would be the opening hours (longer please!!) Variety of beer... Real ales please!! Keep up the great work guys and thank you!!

UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE!!! Just what Hucknall needs, a cozy macro-bar (too big to be classed as micro) tucked away on the high street. Their style of a Neapolitan pizza blew us away (never knew pizza was supposed to taste as good as that) all cooked in a wood burning oven roaring away in the corner. Great selection of beers, ales, wines & spirits at fair prices. The decor is rustic/old world in an historic stone building with a breath taking restored interior ceiling to match. Six of us were going on a bar crawl Saturday but ended up staying all night (6 hours!). Live music, outside heating, perfect ambient lighting, friendly (and funny) staff/owners and a great atmosphere! Well done! We'll be back!

Great food, staff and atmosphere for a compact well organised venue

Me and my partner had our first night out out together in 2 years and it was an instant decision to go to The Cowshed. We already knew it would be the best atmosphere for us as we wanted a relaxing but fun night out and The Cowshed delivered! The staff are amazing and super friendly. The Pizza was that amazing we regret the fact we only orded one to share 🤦 The entertainment was spot on every song played/sang you could tell everyone liked. We enjoyed it that much that we went back later on that night to finish off a really nice night out together. We will 100% be going more frequently now and definitely not sharing a pizza next time 👌

Great place! One of our favourites in the area and we go regularly. Obviously the pizzas are awesome and very well priced. One tiny point and it's probably due to personal taste - I think the beer selection could do with a lift. Maybe an IPA or a couple of craft cans or something wouldn't go amiss.

It's just, amaaaaaaaaazing the pizza good and cheap just like the drinks and guess what it's all tasting good, I just can't get over this, also I loved the fact they did the math about that person that spent "700" pounds when they didn't and had to get kicked out just, niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
