H. H.First time visiting The Loxley for food and it was perfect.
Tiff was very friendly and professional and working extremely hard. Kev in the kitchen was super helpful with our allergen request and we felt reassured that the food would meet our requirements and it absolutely did!
Cannot recommend them enough, we will definitely be back!
D. R.Partner and I went to The Loxley as it was quiet and the deal on menu at that time was Perfect. Tuesday Burger deal, perfect day and perfect deal. For Starter we chose Sharer Doritos and main 2x Quad Beef Burgers and oh boy! Starter was lovely and on spice side which was perfect then Mains. Meat was tender and hot, everything well presented and fresh. We were told to let them know when we finish our Starter and when we are ready for mains which for us was perfect. Didn't have to rush and could give time to digest the starter before we moved onto mains. Staff was very friendly amd helpful.
Overal the place is not the poshest as it is Pub with sports, pool etc... typical hanging out place with good food. At that time it was quiet so was lovely but I guess if you come in peak time it might be busy and loud.
Overal for us 5 stars. Nothing to complain. Keep up the good service!
W. L.Went to watch a football match. Every table was booked but the staff were very helpful and happy to find us a space to eat and watch the football in a safe environment. I took my daughter along and she felt safe and was made very welcome by the staff and regular customers. Food here was good value and good quality.. highly recommend this venue due to the hard work the management and staff put in.
P. S.I would just love to say how impressed I am with this establishment! Fantastic welcome and service. I personally visited from Brighton so not a local! I have visited twice now to watch watch my team play football! Wow they didn’t bat an eyelid to support my needs Tiffany especially needs a big shout out for making sure I was comfortable to watch the game and what a lovely experience I had. Very good value, can’t recommend it enough.

They really involve you with the process so that it's actually a great eye opener to the technology... pun intended. Also the range of glasses they have are really high end names and stylish. Absolutely lovely burger, defo worth a visit, not just cos you have have triple and quadruple burgers in beef chicken and soya. £6.49 including a free drink with it brilliant!!!

Food hot and didn't wait long.
Table hadn't been wiped and a smell from the toilet too.

Turned out to be the perfect stop, wasn’t to busy, food came out sharply and was really good. Can always tell a good meal when the kids eat everything up and leave nothing for me. Would definitely recommend and will go again next time we venture across to nottingham.

k. k.We came out on saturday for a bite a quick drink and to move on to one of our favour bars for the music for a little dance as its not our thing in there. when we normally have come into loxley we stayed till 10 that its 9 ish sometimes not really a busy place after food is done nice for a drink and chat then to move on to party.. We have done this a few times and its not busy when the dj comes not up our street the food was good just as we was finishing off out drinks the dj started playing all i have to say is wow wow wow i have never seen it that busy and fun there were people dancing off the chairs and tables the music and dj was out of this world every time we was going to leave he play tune hit song after song the dance floor and bar never got empty it was wall to wall busy the atmosphere was crazy one of the best djs i have ever heard ever better dj then the bar we really really like .. food 6 out of 10... dj 15 out of 10 wow.

It's dependable, it's cheap, it's a British classic and a "no brainer"any night of the week.
Came here last Saturday night and thought the manager was fantastic at showing us the system with the app and I want to give him a special mention (I don't know his name but he seemed to be the manager).
Once we sat down service was fast and, as a whiskey fan was happy to see Glenfiddich 12 year available.
Thank you to the staff keep up the good work in these testing times, I want you to know it hasn't gone un noticed.

A. M.Great quiz on Thursday. Easy to use smartphone and good range of questions. I was able to watch the football as well as doing the quiz. The table service was quick, we didn't have to wait at all. The pub felt very safe with good social distancing measures and sanatisers all over the pub.

S. S.Hearty pub with loads of different seating options from traditional restaurant seating to tall bar seating and booths with TVs in each if you want to watch the football. I went on a Wednesday which is the special for a 'Pie and a Pint'. The hunters chicken pie with mash was a great portion and really hit the spot.
I would compare the system if the pub as almost identical to a Wetherspoon.
On the day I went it seemed a little under-staffed as most empty seating was not cleared and wiped down. But that is most probably because it was the day after Christmas. The staff was friendly and we'll presented.

They have disabled facilities, and very helpful where possible. Would recommend a drink here for sure, as does gets busy which gives a good vibe and atmosphere. Plays good music in background. And also has large tvs for the sports as well.

J. H.This place used to be The Major Oak and has recently been refurbished. It has been transformed into a much more modern look&feel, while keeping some traditional aspects, as well. I liked it. Staff are amazing, too. Highly recommended.
