Good food. We had pizza and mac and cheese. It was great. Portion size was also quite good. Mac and cheese is recommended. Nice ambience. Though backyard could be more fun but not bad for a sunny day.

This is a really good place for a good pint and great pizza. You can watch the pizzas get made and cooked if you like and the interior has a lovely, warm feel in the evenings. The food is top quality and they have a really nice range of drinks, including four ale handpumps, which pleased me. Big thumbs up!

Situated on the Osney Island in Oxford, it's one of the two pubs for the islanders. In addition to being a warm, cozy and lovely public place, it also hosts Pub Quiz on Wednesdays; has a fantastic Sunday lunch menu and a pizza menu (2 for 1) on Mondays. They have a good selection of pizzas, including vegan options. On Mondays, you can enjoy two delicious and fresh pizzas for just £ 10. There is seating area in the open (small) as well as inside. Few cons : service is slightly slow (waiting times tend to be longer than the expected time shown at the time of ordering) and drinks are a bit expensive (can understand that !)

Such a wonderful place. So glad this isn’t too far from our home. Lovely chilled atmosphere, family and dog friendly. All the staff are so wonderful. Great food, clean environment. Always feel very welcomed. Quiz nights are also a blast and a half.

. Really good pub, nice range of seating, booths, comfy chairs, outside seating. Had pizzas which were delicious and a chicken salad which would highly recommend. Bar man could be bit more friendly! We were too late for hot drinks after 9pm.

This is quite a nice pub but the secret beer garden is very scruffy. Pizza was nice but of the other 3 meat mains 2 were unavailable and the third, beef brisket and beans, which should have been okay, was ruined by being excessively sweet. Also no milk available for coffee.
