Reviews of The Jolly Farmers

Long-established traditional pub in the centre of Oxford, but just off the beaten track. A great choice of seating areas inside with lots of nooks and crannies. The back yard is large and really nicely laid out. Serving Sunday roast wraps for £7.50 on the afternoon of our visit!
Good choice of ales and craft beers. Really liked the place and would return.

Love this spot! Delicious draught selection. Should be the official destination for American mums who just settled their first born in an Oxford hall 💛 😢 🙌. Cider, makes everything better!

Loved the decor of the back garden, the warm and friendly staff and overall vibe of the place. Would definitely visit again during my next visit to Oxford!

Fantastic old little gem in the centre of Oxford. It is great that this place is still here and that is has not been converted into a Tesco express yet. It was a Saturday evening when I attended, mostly younger people and students but the atmosphere was great, the sofas were super comfy, and the range and prices for drinks aren't too bad. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Look forward to visiting it and Oxford again soon.

A haven of peace and with very cosy armchairs and surroundings just a couple of minutes walk from the bustle of the city centre.
Very friendly staff and the quiet piped music ensured that my wife and I could chat easily.
We make a point of drinking here whenever we visit Oxford.

Charming pub, full of character just off the beaten track. Great selection of well kept ales at good prices. The staff gave a warm welcome on arrival and were friendly throughout. Perfect all round!!

Update. The manager approached our table and immediately rectified the issue. Very impressive mgmt.
Kind and responsive bartenders. Whimsical space, couches and decor.
No music. Yet wouldn’t let us play Renaissance on my phone quietly.

Fabulous pub. Friendly staff, cosy inside and out. Went on a Friday evening and it was busy without being overwhelming.
Great selection of alcohol free beers and ciders.

Called in this afternoon. Very friendly and positive natured staff. Welcoming and cool customers. Enjoyed the drinks. Would recommend before most pubs in Oxford.
