A hidden gem in Jericho! Beautiful place, with unique and tasty food at decent prices and good selection of drinks. The staff was friendly and the place lively. My crepe was delicious. I absolutely loved the place and would definitely recommend it to people!

A very warm, lovely and cozy pub with beautiful and antique interiors. A lot of drinks to choose from and a decent menu for food. I enjoyed the vibe and the service, which is also excellent. The food is also quite decent.
Since the pub is smaller than the other pubs in the area and is quite popular, it is often busy. Would definitely recommend booking in advance - especially during peak times.

Brilliant as usual! Delicious food (we had complete and salmon crepes), great service, and amazing location, quiet and lovely. The outside area is great for sunny days!

Made it just before the kitchen closed but the manager was kind enough to take the order. The burger was great and juicy, with bacon and eggs, and the steak was really good. Try their cheese fries. It’s phenomenal. Also the scenery is rather amusing. In the heart of Oxford.

Amazing pub with lovely live music and great crepes. I would recommend the “La Complete”. Also great lager beers.

Delicious food and amazingly friendly staff. They were so accommodating and helpful. The menu is full of unexpected treats - and the ale selection was great.
I was recommended to come here by a friend because of the free monkey nuts…. I think she missed the point as the food on the menu was amazing.
I had the burger, which was definitely made from scratch using from high-quality ingredients. The patty was meaty and well seasoned, with crunchy bacon and fresh lettuce. Bonus points for giving the fried egg a little “sun roof”. Very impressed.

Great pub away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Excellent food. Interesting menu. True craft beer. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended

Very cozy, and staff were kind. French food menu was great for us. I recommend to book your table at the front part of the pub as its interior is intersting and quite different from the room behind.

Where should I go after Bookbinding Festival if not here ;)
It was totally spontaneous and almost accidental visit and was the best end of a long day I could ask for.
Pub is located just around 10 minutes walk from city centre in calm and local area. It looks just brilliant — like cut out from some old movie scene. Beer is proper and cold. Food, even if the menu is in French, is excellent. I had goat cheese croutons and one minute steak—all was way above pub food standards.
But really exceptional… is staff and service. Nice, polite people that know what they’re doing. Quick, talky if you wish, and highly competent. Advice for landlord: if they ask you for a rise—give it straight away; if the ask for shares in your business—at least consider it ;)
Highly recommend this place!
