Reviews of Charters Bar
A. S.
First visit to this venue and really enjoyed it a lot.
Went for the winter beer festival, there were 17 real ciders on and 20 ales.
A very unique venue, the Dutch barge Leendert-r was built in 1907 and used in Holland, Belgium and Germany and was brought to the uk in 1991 and converted to this bar.
They had live music on at night and the place had an amazing atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back again.
While I was there I surveyed it for google street view so you can now look around it in 360 degree photographs.
*. b. *.
Interesting enough place but, alas, unless it's full of sweaty people, it can be rather cold while sitting there doing nothing but supping cool ale. For this reason, I was only ever going to have the one pint. Also, I note their aerated version of Egyptian Cream is £4.50. That's a whopping 80p more than at The Palmerston Arms. Eek!
Great service as always.
Heat the place up as required and watch the prices, boys!
m. p.
Nice quiet pub. Brilliant if you wanna nice secluded place to drink that's not too busy and no children reasonable price. Very friendly bar staff . Highly recommend Charters.
L.
A great place to go except when it's super busy, like if football is on. Sardines come to mind. Other times it's a fun place to go, especially when the weather is nice and can enjoy the beer garden
J. R. (.
An amazing find! Never been on a bar like it! The bar is down in the hull of the boat, very narrow as you'd expect but also spacious. Good prices, huge bar, staff were brilliant and smiling. Huge seating area outside on the dock/ land too.
H. P.
Fantastic set up outside for eating, drinking undercover and listening to fab bands. Gorgeous restaurant and bar inside too. Great friendly, helpful staff. Saw the Outlaw Eagles there, met family and friends. We had an awesome time. Great for young and old. Brilliant band.
B.
Charters is always a good idea for a brunch! Delicious drinks! If it's busy, sometimes need to wait long time ..
j. s.
Very nice pub/bar with live music and a fantastic beer garden. If you like boats, live music and beer this is the place to be at the weekend
S. J.
Real ale bar on a boat what more could you ask for!, charters bar is in the lower deck of this wide beamed boat on the river Nene with a Thai restaurant on the top deck, the look and atmosphere is great, appealing to a broad age group. Stay on board and drink in the bar area or sit outside overlooking the river where swans and ducks gather. Lively spot at weekends especially during summer.
L. R.
Very enjoyable place to have a drink Very pleasant and friendly staff Good atmosphere
M. H.
Great choice of beers. Access to bar and toilets via stairs on the barge so not easy for disabled access. The bar is quite noisy so difficult to have a quiet conversation.
J. T.
Everyone loves charters, we do and the kids too especially on a Sunday afternoon! We decided to go today and the live band was great!(Groove Cartel) But the prices of the drinks*mind blown* bloody £3.10 for a lemonade!!!!! Should've gone and got a bottle from Asda!!!! All I wanted was to enjoy a couple hours out with the kids but £10 down now and for the sake of some lemonade!!!!!
S. J.
A really nice quirky place an old Dutch boat with a bar down below and a Chinese restaurant on the top didn't have time to visit the restaurant but the bar has a good selection of beers, pale ales and German beers and plenty of seating on the Quay side.
A. M.
Great venue and live bands ,great selection of real ales.
R. G.
Love this place for what it is - a quirky venue that sells fab real ale!!! Will always visit when in Peterborough! So've been loads of times before n'll b back plenty more - thank you!
R. H.
Pretty packed as wbafc was playing great location by the river really good outdoor area with extra bar and space looks like there was a stage with something ready to play or just played. Great in summer and sunny just chilling .👍
M. M.
Love this place. Nice and chilled, great for meeting up with friends or those first dates 😉 well done to your new beer garden 🤜💪
A. P.
Always friendly staff. New look Garden ready for the summer. Place is gonna rock. There are worse places to go for a beer.
E. J.
Great place..
Saw a friend dj there yesterday. Great vibe and tunes.
Loads of seating there now too.
P. b.
Nice place to meet up with friends and have chat and dance now and then
C. B. T. V. C.
A bar in the bowels of a former Dutch grain barge, Charters is situated on the River Nene itself.
It boasts a great selection of real ales and has live music every weekend.
S. O.
Good selection of ales, friendly atmosphere and some occasional random people! Once we got there we didn’t move all day. Reasonably priced. Recommended for an all day session or a night out if u don’t like ‘trendy’ bars!!
S. W.
I liked it here. The slightly unstable feel of standing in a boat coupled with a lovely glass of wine and some good music playing made for a grand afternoon with a friend. If I’m ever in Peterborough again, I’ll pop by!
M. M.
Lived opposite here for a year now, never set foot inside partly due to Rona, but also because we just lazy 😂
Also been enjoying the live music from our balcony quite alot..
Pleasantly surprised when we walked in the other night, what an amazing little place, cool idea as well..
p. c.
Great awayday bar if you are playing Peterborough
J. A.
Great outside space, lovely real ale and fabulous live music. Food was good too. What more could you wish for!
K. M.
Sadly I can only give this three stars, because I never set foot in the bar itself. Instead we were sat at one of the tables outside and had to use their app to get them to deliver the drinks. One point of note is that when you use the QR code, be careful what you click on, because there's an advert at the bottom of the screen, which takes you to something else.
D. R.
One of my all time favourite bars/restaurants in Peterborough for over 10 years. Their management of outdoor dining in line with covid restrictions is very effective. Quite possibly the best Thai food you'll taste!
R. U.
Outside bar area & seating area is superb .
also the stage area for live bands is positively brilliant
K. M.
Great visit enjoyed the whole day well run place made us feel welcome staff great
A. C.
Great place for a relaxed evening, good food and a nice atmosphere.
T. L.
Another great night in Charters, band Cosmic Rodney brilliant great selection of music had the boat rocking
A. M.
The best place to go on a Sunday afternoon when live music is played in the huge garden during summer months. Lovely setting next to the river. Plenty of ales to choose from.
C. T.
Charters is one of my long standing favourite pubs. There is always a great selection of guest ales. The pub is a massive barge so when the water level is low it lists a little, which makes you feel more drunk than you are. If you are hungry there is the "East" Thai restaurant on the top deck and they will bring food down to you. Charters often put on events, live music, beer festivals etc. The beer garden is also very nice in thr summer. I highly recommend this pub.
S. H.
Great new outdoor space. Proper ale drinkers pub. Perfect for away fans on a match day.
S. B.
The only place to be on match day. Great real beer selection plenty of staff and great atmosphere
M. R.
Visiting Preston fan. Great for a pre-much drink or three.
T. H.
Very busy with football fans but staff handled it very well. Real ales on offer. Large outdoor area.
r. n.
Great pub and restaraunt on a big boat town centre , allways call in when in peterborough, good atmosphere and live music too.
A. T.
Only had one pint on this visit, but loved the way the barge had been converted to a bar and restaurant. Would definitely visit again if I go to Peterborough again.
J. B.
It's almost like a second home! A range of Oahams Real ales and guest craft beers . Either from the hand pump or direct pour out of the cask. Manager lives on board this huge Dutch barge built about the same time as RMS Titanic the Riverside huge beer garden has live music,
L. A.
Relaxing atmosphere, great live music and a meal at East upstairs is a must.
P. W.
We had a wonderful time ,fabulous food, service and atmosphere.
C. K.
Fantastic venue for music and real ales.
H. H.
Nice, cozy and different atmosphere. Thursday quiz is great.
H. M.
It's OK. Love charters. But tables were old and grubby, 40 min wait for drink. Several errors with the order. It won't stop me.gping back.
B. E.
Love the place. But wish they had kept table service app that we had for Covid. That worked really well!
D. W.
Nice and relaxed. Great outdoors area.
Friendly staff
Nice
w.
Great Thai food. Good ale selection. Restaurant upstairs eat outside. Good music.
P. B.
Good food at a reasonable price !
S. G.
Great bar made even better now it has comfy seating, excellent choice of craft beer and well kept ales
B. W.
Full of character, great selection of drinks, friendly staff and great food in above restaurant. Seating outside for sunny days.
A. P.
A very nice but unusual location
D. B.
Great setting on the river Nene in Peterborough City centre with a lovely outdoor seating area
M. S.
Great old Dutch Grain Barge on the river..
Quality place exceptional staff..ace selection of beers with lots of outside deating.
E. B.
This is a great bar with plenty of character. Having been here as part of a stag night, I found this bar, which is on a barge on the river been, a great place to drink. I'm sure there is a slight list on the boat, gently leaning to wards the bar end of the boat but after we had had a few drinks, I'm sure this was exaggerated by the drink. The hazelnut vodka is especially nice. I will definatly be back when I'm out in Peterborough again
R. R.
Good food and beer. Music to loud for me though
P. M.
Fab selection beers and great friendly service highly recomend.
s. c.
Nice atmosphere plenty of choice of beers and ales and the prices are very reasonable. Not sure if always like it ( as first time going ) but if you suffer from balance problems the boat was on the lean. Really nice place.
D. D.
Good and quite authentic Asian cuisine and nice craft beers.
l. h.
Great place but smelly toilet
M. s.
Lovely location for drinking in the sun, table service only at present, staff very friendly, good choice of beers, ciders, gins etc, well worth a visit
P.
The Thai food was lovely from upstairs though the drinks selection was slim.
D. P.
Fantastic bar in an old grain barge ,absolutely phenomenal range of ales, beers and drinks and such an amazing and unusual atmosphere. Small stage at one end for live bands. Good staff and service and if you get hungry theres a restaurant up above the bar on what would have been the upper deck of the barge. Well worth a look.
C. S. L.
Qr code check in and Qr code ordering system. Fantastic service, all contact less.
Great even with a fab selection of drinks, food and snacks.
V. N.
Such a lovely spot to go an enjoy a wine or two, very friendly and welcoming staff. I shall be back 😁
S. G.
A very unique place and a must for stopping off on the way into town for a drink, or even for an evening out it itself. Outside seating area is a great little suntrap in the summer too. Nice selection of craft beers along with the usual stuff. They host some good events in the bar and garden too.
M. R.
I love this place. I have been going there regularly for 5 years. The drinks are good and you can order food from the Thai restaurant upstairs and have it sent to your table in the pub. Very lively when there is live music, especially in summer when you can enjoy the sun outside 😎
A. T.
Lovely evening food very nice staff friendly and helpfull.
T. C.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends old and new. Great live music, big selection of gin, ciders, ale and beer. Plus fantastic food available to order to the bar from the kitchen East upstairs. Thai fries with sweet chili sauce is a favourite.
D. L.
Huge garden, lots of live music, good food, excellent beer, what else do you need?
H. B.
I've been going to charters for years. Service is always good and there's a very good range lagers, ales and spirits. You can order bar food, though only at lunch times and evenings so don't expect an an afternoon menu on weekdays, and if you nip up to East you can order from their very wide menu and they'll bring it down. The beer garden is nice in summer, though often very busy indeed.
N. W.
Great place with plenty of choice at the bar. Could really do with some cycle parking as it's right on the cycle path at that end of town
P. E.
Went to East restaurant-brilliant
Will def be returning
K. A.
Very slow service on most recent visit. More staff required to wait the additional tables. 45 minutes to be served after placing an order is far too long!
B. H.
Loved playing at Charters again with The Money Shot. Great pub, great beer, great crowd.
f. r.
Always good, live music in the sunshine, good food and drink and friendly staff
G. G.
❤🍷
S.
Great selection of beer and awesome location.
N. B.
Great food and ambience.
D. M.
Still a good pub with good ales on offer.
Thursday pub quiz used to be the best in town and great fun, but unfortunately not anymore. Funny answers aren't read out anymore and hardly anyone turns up. A shame.
But can't knock the venue, staff or drinks.
D. Q.
Very nice drinks and good atmosphere
P. Q. G. B.
Best place ever, had to catch the fish myself. Fish was well prepared, was exhausted after catching the lad, too tired to eat it. Let it back in the water thought when its cooked its still alive so its gonna swim, wasn't quite the story.
Bailiff Jerry came up and gave ma firm slap around the face and asked to bug off.
C. N.
Always one of my very best favorites. Great beer, great garden; great atmosphere; great events and fantastic food in East Thai/Oriental restaurant above! A must-do stop in Peterborough!
c. m.
I have visited this fantastic venues several times before for their beer and cider summer festivals and continue to have amazing experiences there. This time a ban that got is proper groovy were playing and they offered hit after vintage hit.The different ales available that night were superb . The staff were very lively and seemed to enjoy the buzz as much as the customers . I will be visiting again and again for more entertainment drink and food.
I. H.
The place to go pre game at Peterboro
A. B.
Bar on a barge! City centre bar serving real ales as well as popular beer, wine and spirits. Friendly atmosphere, good music. Beware of the slightly wonky angle as you walk around. Or was it the booze?
B. e.
Been there twice now. The first time the food was very nice but there was a small selection. And my friends and I felt rushed as one of the female staff kept asking us if we had finished. We felt we were being hinted to leave.
Second time we went there they had the same selection of food. They should try offer other types of food. They only had 3 types of sources, boiled rice, chicken wings, sliced battered vegetables and some fried bread.
Would love to go there again if they increase their variety.
G. M.
Really nice pub with a restaurant above. Good selection of ale (local breweries too), lagers and spirits. Really good music.
The oriental lunch was really nice.
Overall, great place to visit.
M. R.
Amazing food👌 great service & location
D. C.
bit pricey, but food and service is excellent
J. C.
Really liked the feel of this place but it was very brief due to pre-match drink. Want to go back as I didn't get the full experience. Felt welcoming ... despite being packed. Maybe 5 stars next time 😉
M. J. L.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff at its own beer/gin festival.
Good atmosphere. Drinks not cheap but nevertheless cheaper than the Pboro Beer Festival which ended yesterday.
Next time, we'll go to Charters first.
A. S.
It's good to find different types of venue for a drink. This old barge has a well stocked bar with good choice of ales. We ate from the bar menu which was good value....the Nasi Goreng was nicely spiced and a decent sized portion. Friendly staff too.
B. R.
We turned up on spec with no booking. Even though they were busy they were very accommodating and seated us fairly quickly. We found out from the staff that the Manager travels around Asia for 2 months every year and brings back new authentic recipes. Took me back to when I travelled around Asia as a kid with my family. Well worth a visit. Set menu A for 2 was brilliant. Thank you we will be back.
B. “. C.
Great place especially during summer when you can chill while drinking a pint outside. Live bands are present very often so make sure to heck their website for events, however it can be packed inside as boat is rather narrow.
c. n.
Great location for drinks before game
D. J.
Charters is a great pub serving local ales and a great choice of ciders with a great choice of drinks to cater for all the staff are always friendly and helpful will keep visiting again, please note that home match days can be busy, keep up the great work.
W.
Really lovely pub and restaurant, been going there since I was able to and had many great times there. They have live bands and that is worth hanging around and listening to. The restaurant does some really nice food which I would recommend to anyone
C. L.
Nice outside area to sit and food available from East
P. T.
Great selection of ale and cider. Lovely Thai food plus burgers available. Music on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer months.
a.
A lovely, welcoming and friendly real ale pub located on a barge. The staff are more than willing to help, and please customers with the knowledge of all their beverage's. They serve a wide choice of real ales from local brewers including Oakham ales to not so local from Sheffield and further afield. A range of real ciders on tap as well as bottles too. Their range of whiskeys are quite impressive too, with over 25 different types to cater all types of pallets . The food they serve is catered by the restaurant East, which is located directly above the pub. This pub is not wheelchair accessible though as it is down stair's.
P. P. L.
Eastern fusion food upstairs, live music and good beer down in the surprisingly copious hold of this former Dutch barge. Great place to take strangers to Peterborough. Not quite heaven but damned close on occasion.
D. T.
Once again, excellent food and excellent service. I can't emphasise enough, how much I enjoy this place. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Peterborough, quite possibly my favourite restaurant anywhere.
I definitely recommend anyone to try it, if they haven't already!..
100/100...
g. b.
Always been a great boozer in the summer. Very family friendly. For those unfamiliar with Charters it is an 80ft. Barge located on the river Nene. What makes it special is its beer garden on the river's bank. Very tranquil but livens up when the regular bands play. It is also a CAMRA listed pub so lots of alcohol to choose from and a very tasty Thai restaurant on the upper-deck. RECOMMENDED!!
C. W.
Fantastic pub with a great selection of ales and lagers on tap.
Probably the best pub in Peterborough.
A little pricey but for the kind of beer they serve you kind of expect it to be.
Excellent in the summer for a lovely pint
C. P.
Beer good service slow
C. B.
Great selection of real ales. Nice menu including Thai food. The only thing I didn't like was the choice of punk style music.
T. P.
Great find....I arrived as an away fan of Plymouth Argyle for the game against Peterborough keen to try some local beers. Locals were friendly and welcoming and staff were knowledge about local beers. All boxes ticked! (Apart from the result )
p.
Really enjoyed my visit to Charters. Very friendly staff and great selection of beers 🍻. Fantastic setting on the river Nene. Also has a large outside area on the bank. Recommended!
G. W.
Absolutely love this place. Amazing choice of beers and ales and good prices. Can get very busy but well worth a visit.
S. W.
Friendly place , good ale and plenty of outside space
T. W.
A large bar downstairs in an old transport barge. Brightly lit, nice atmosphere. Large selection of guest ales to try at reasonable prices. In the summer there's a large beer garden on the river.
L. A.
Lovely place but was bit disappointed no food after 2 pm
J.
Lovely on a summers evening, no where really else better, cold pints always spot on, easy online ordering, what’s not to love
J. R.
A unique place that I don't often go but a solid choice for a drink. Went during a Saturday before the football where it was packed by fellow fans. Thankfully, it wasn't too much of a wait.
R. B.
A lovely bar in an old Dutch barge. Always has a great selection of real ales that are well kept. Well worth a visit if you're in Peterborough.
R. G.
If you go early plenty of seating. Then you sit back a watch it fill up around you.Later in the evening on Saturdays there's live music . On the 16th June Grove Cartel are on great band.
S. W.
Very unique as it is a pub built into an old grain barge in the river. Local ales and a great restaurant above. Absolute must if you're visiting Peterborough.
T. M.
I consider the charters bar to be a cornerstone of Peterborough's night life the sell a wide range of beer and alcoholic beverages mixed with fantastic live music and outside seating area. Great vibe and definitely a must visit local attraction.
K. W.
Charters and East have to be the best craft beer/cider bars and Thai restaurants (respectively) I've been too. The fact that one is on top of the other doesn't hurt either :-p love these places.
J. L.
Nice beer garden for when the sun is out and a good selection of drinks just feel it always takes a little ling to get served and often have bands playing also very good location if you wanted to walk over into town and have a few more drinks all in all a nice little pub restaurant.
v. v.
Food is amazing, but furniture....
C. M.
Love this quirky bar. Great idea to have this venue. Kids loved it too so rounded off our football day perfectly
N. S.
Loved it. Had a 60th party there of a friend. Good Asian food and excellent bar service. Can also go and drink upstairs on shore!
M. M.
Excellent food, drink and service.
-.
Atypical and I love it.
Nice to drink a beer in this charter.
J. D.
Always a wide and ever changing selection of well kept beers and ciders. Excellent Thai/Far Eastern food available in the bar, the huge riverside beer garden, and the impeccably waited restaurant.
S. D.
Considering the awful weather today the staff have done a great job to accommodate everyone with as much cover as possible and keep smiling.
D. I.
Fantastic real ale pub on a boat full of character. The burgers are amazing and very good value!
O. D.
Great atmosphere, better in the summer months as it can be extremely busy inside and they have a vast beer garden, great selection of beers and wines and lovely Asian restaurant above it.
R. H.
The East restaurant food is always good, probably one of the best in Peterborough. Charters has some great beer and one of the nicest outside areas, especially in the summer!
I. G.
Went for a quite drink late in the evening mid week. Enjoyed it, pretty empty so no waiting to be served and could have a conversation and hear your friends. Will be going again.
B. R.
Overall great atmosphere and beer thoroughly recommended. One improvement it can feel a bit grubby at busy times so a bit of cleaning wouldn't go amiss then. Dont let that put you off though.
L. T.
So I woke up thinking today was an average day. Oh how wrong I was. Around 10:30am I received a phone call and let me add this was no average phone call. It was Big Kev. I was surprised at this because I had seen the stories on Snapchat of his previous night and if I do say so myself it looked wild. Anyway back to the story, Kevin had called to let me know that the three lost men were about to have a reunion in the glorious city of Peterborough. The three lost men consists of myself, Big Kev and broken toe joe. I'll pause the story right now just let you know how we became the trio known as the three lost men. All it started last year on a three day bender which included a day of golf which I'll happily admit I lost to great broken toe Joe. The day after broken toe Joe had returned home and myself and Kevin enjoyed a night being looked by some very talented nurses. In the morning we conjured up a plan to retrieve broken toe Joe and get a crossiant from the realm of France. Long story short the trip consisted of missing three ferrys, sleeping in a mini in the middle of nowhere in France, drinking by the Eiffel tower, drinking many cocktails at a Scottish bar, Trying to find food near the Somme and eventually arriving at Dunkirk beach trying to work out how to get home. So you know one of the many trips us three have had. So you can understand why I was excited to receive this phone call today. Big Kev saw Charters and loved the concept of a docked boat bar. The pints were great but the only reason we did not give fine establishment five stars is because the girl serving us behind the bar seemed like she didn't want to live.
S. P. (.
Nice British food & drink. Crowded in weekend.
B. D.
I was on my way to Waterstones Booksellers but a friend called my and said that he's waiting for me at the Charters with some girls. Therefore I quickly made a U-turn. We drank some cocktails, I had some fun there, the music was good, I don't know whether the company of the girls had something to do with it but I enjoyed myself.
a. j.
Charters has been around since 1991 and my local for the last 8 years. Always a good and wide selection of ales - well kept and properly served. The thai restaurant upstairs, while a little pricey, serves good quality food. Genetally well worth a visit.
L. “. A.
Fun Sunday evening in the beautiful garden and great music!
N.
As usual, very good atmosphere, relaxed, drinks are affordable. Very chilled Sunday afternoon. Just to add the staff are very friendly 😊
J. F.
Great Staff, Have a nice selection of drinks that are cold (Dont like a warm beer) food is lovely. Will be back again with friends and family.
J. B.
A barge on the river, a great place, very relaxed, a large and varied selection of draft and cask beers. The Asian food was good. A must visit.
K. Q.
Pop in without booking and were happily accommodated although it was busy. Lovely Thai menu and taste was amazing. Would love to visit again
L. S.
Charters, a great little gem for peterborough, has real ales and ciders and the biggest beer garden in town with live music every weekend in the summer . A must to go if your in town .
C. R.
My favourite Peterborough pub with a great selection of locally brewed real ales and a great selection of continental lagers and ciders. Great Thai food is served as bar meals or meals in the East restaurant upstairs.
C.
Nice place. We had reserved an area for a birthday, that they managed to forget somehow, but it's a nice lively place, on a Saturday night anyway.
A. S. N.
Good gig shame about position of the stage. Not very good nr the toilets
J. A.
Great boat conversion bar. Recently upgraded. Better seating and lighting. Good beer choice and live music.
D. M.
Brilliant pub on the river serving a great choice of real ale and cider. Polite friendly staff and allows away football fans in on matchday
A. S.
It's OK if you like live music..... Never eaten in the restaurant upstairs but looks promising..... Typical Friday night people.... Open till late....
P. F.
Great location. Good amount of beers. Friendly helpful staff.
W. T.
Without doubt one of the best pubs in Eastern England. It is in a Dutch barge moored on the river Nene with a super beer garden. Downstairs to the bar while East Thai restaurant is on the upper deck. Normally 12 different real ales - half of them from Oakham Ales, local brewers of GHB, Inferno, Citra, Bishop's Farewell etc. There is also a good choice of continental beers and draught ciders. Bar food is available from the Thai restaurant upstairs which can be eaten in the bar or the garden and it is excellent and good value. Staff are efficient and friendly and ale will be served directly from the cellar if you request it. Probably best avoided on days when Peterborough Utd are playing at home if you want a peaceful drink!
A. C.
Loved it here, so much we went there two nights in a row. Has an extensive ale and gin menu.
K. M.
I really enjoy this place as it's something different ! They have a decent selection of drinks and it's slightly tilted which makes for its own fun after a few drinks
j. q.
I enjoy the beer but the last few years it's been lacking. I'm unable to explain, it doesn't have the same feel as it had some years back. I still call in but not as often.
E.
Only went for one drink but the beer was good and plentiful (much variety), plus the live music and decor gave the place a really nice atmosphere.

Nice place to eat,and bit restricted on foods at the self service eat as much as you like servery, cost of bottles of wine very very expensive £24+ for a cheap bottle of wine, and if you want a sweet not worth what you have to pay, the staff were very attentive and polite, would I go again, maybe not

Always been a great boozer in the summer. Very family friendly. For those unfamiliar with Charters it is an 80ft. Barge located on the river Nene. What makes it special is its beer garden on the river's bank. Very tranquil but livens up …
