Customer service is bl*ody outstanding. Absolutely belting staff. Food has always been really great. Normally come with just my partner but have also brought my son and he really loves coming! Especially enjoys the desserts. Such a down to earth boozer.

What I like about this place is the deals they offer on daily basis. Basically two persons can eat for one's price. 20 quid will get you two courses and two pints (which is ridiculously cheap) Basically food is decent and prices are like at McDonald's 😃

A very nice chain pub to eat at. I had the sizzling steak platter, 8oz rump, very nice. Puddings were nice too. The beer, Green King abbot ale was good, well kept. There was a good selection of drinks, wines and gins for the ladies. Prices were very decent indeed. No complaints, well done the staff who were all on the ball, attentive and polite.

I want to say that all the staff were very pleasant and the beer was good. It's a Hungry Horse, so we weren't expecting fine dining. The food was cooked well, however, the quality of the meat for my steak was poor, along with it being chewy. My wife thought she would be adventurous and try something different, so she had the fried chicken on waffles. The waffles were sweet and combined with the sweet source, it was a very sweet and sickly dish. She thought it was one of the worst meals ever. If potato waffles had been used, it might have been a nice dish. Perhaps we should have complained at the time, but I'd use some vouches that were about to expire, so not having paid very much for the food, I didn't feel I had much of a right to complain.

Booked a table for 10 for the 18th December when arrived no table ready was took to bar area they had to sort a table for us was horrible and sticky, the floors were also sticky your shoes stuck to them,Can understand you might have been busy but expected a table waiting for us waited 50minutes for food to arrive most of us ordered sizzling steaks which wasn't sizzling when arrived and one girls was nearly cold and very fatty when said something got told nothing could be done about it , we did make the best of the night but very disappointed overall

Absolutely lovely food well cooked steak. Alot better than the one I went to in Kettering didn't rate it at all. Customer service was exceptional. Lovely environment will definitely be coming again and bringing the kids too.

Went for a meal about 3p.m. Not crowded. Lovely atmosphere. We ordered drinks and food. The drinks arrived very quickly. The food came shortly after. Everyone said the food was excellent and very good quality and value for money.

We had an awesome macaroni cheese served by Lee, who was an amazing server. When we ordered our drinks my sister ordered the wrong type as mine needed to be non alcoholic Shaun served us with them and was excellent as he made sure that we knew what was ordered was definitely alcohol@ 4% I thanked him for that as my antibiotics were prescribed and I was told NOT to drink alcohol while taking these.

Really liked the decor in this place, newly refurbed and you can tell . Ordered food and was disappointed our original choice was not available but settled for something else. Portion size small and looked unappetizing and could have been warmer. Stayed for drinks and the atmosphere of the bar was good. Like the layout and there's a pool table and dart board too. Would return but maybe not eat here this time.

I won a meal for 2 in September, we chose the 15oz Gammon & 8oz steak, food was cooked to perfection, the Gammon fell apart and was amazing, the steak was just right. I loved the sizzling steak on the bed of peppers and onions with cheese, button mushrooms and peppercorn sauce, I don't usually like Mushrooms but these tasted fab in the mix. The gammon was huge, chips were delicious and so were the onion rings. We got a dessert to share, the huge sweetie sunday, we couldn't even finish it between us. The chocolate ice cream was amazing. Staff were very friendly, chef was great also. Thanks for making our first date night since having my twin babies a lovely one. We will be coming back again very soon, 5***** from us 💜

Lovely place to eat, casually drink, lots of outdoor seating, kids play area is good, they forgot our puddings so we had to go and ask again, but fair play to them it was a jam packed and busy hot day. Food was absolutely lovely 👌 easy accessable toilets and baby changing, big car park with disabled parking. Awesome choice of alcohol slush drinks and other cocktail type things :)

Staff our friendly and helpful.. good choice of drinks food tastes amazing top rating for the chef, I think they need new tables as some of them are wobbly. And they need a bit of a clean. If you are going with the family they have a kid's park. so it's great to keep them occupied, they also have mini TVs on some tables so it's good for the sports fans. They have a good outdoor sitting space when the sun's out. They also have a lot of space indoors so you always got somewhere to sit :)

I have been to this pub so many times as it is local. The last time the food was disappointing. We had hunters chicken and the chicken breast was so dry and very overcooked that we couldn't eat some bits and the sauce was almost missing. I don't know why but food is always better of weekend than weekdays. Staff was friendly as always but they kitchen staff needs to be better trained so they can serve the same good quality food they do when they are on their best day.

The menu choices are fairly standard for this kind of pub, however it is always well cooked and presented nicely which makes a difference. Staff are friendly and helpful and service is pretty fast even when busy plus it is always good value on prices. Definitely become one of our favorites.

Came for a date night with my partner, the lady that served us her name was Cody and she was very friendly and gave excellent customer service, I wasn’t really sure what to get and she was happy to recommend some drinks and food to me. The food was amazing, it came within 10 minutes of ordering and was hot and fresh. Definitely coming back here again and definitely recommend this place to everyone :)

The stake was cooked to perfection I had mine blue, but the sausage was disgusting chucking reconstituted not chicken breast no check back from staff but all that said it was 10 times better than last time we ate here a few years ago. So its improving. It looks much better and has better atmosphere before it looked very tired and dated. Been coming here on and off for 18 years seen many new managers chefs staff. It feels like they are moving away from family friendly to more sophisticated pub food if that's such a thing.

Went to a poker night, had a blast. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant. The place is large and decently laid out. Drink prices are fair. Plenty of screens to watch the sports. Parking is sizable. Disability access appears to be okay (I wasn't with anyone in a wheelchair so cannot say 100%) and there are disabled toilets available, but again, I can't be sure of how good they are.

My family-in-law have been raving about this place since my wife and I were dating. Last night they finally took me after 4 years of build up. Wow! It did not disappoint! Apart from the obvious draw of having private tellies at your booth to watch the match on, the food and atmosphere were incredible. Slightly mood lit and an incredible song list elevated the experience from the start. Then the food... Magnificent! I went sizzling Chick n' Mix platter. Every fried chicken skewer cooked to perfection. Then dessert... The Ultimate Candimania! Absolutely epic! I shared with my wife as the portions are so generous and I was starting to feel full! Best meal out I've had in ages!
