Tidy micropub a short stroll from the bus station, with five cask beers, two keg and one lager, alongside a lengthy list of cans. A good few tables inside with a couple out on the street. Well worth a visit!

Great landlord with welcoming smile (and who remembers your name and that of the locals!), great beer from local brewers and a great atmosphere unbesmerched by Sky TV or pushy sales tactics. I Popped into the Bumble inn just before closing time yesterday, was made very welcome by the landlord. They had two real ciders on which I’d not tried before. Nice little micro pub with intimate atmosphere. Was lovely and cool despite it being 32c outside, highly recommended for those wanting a quiet pint. I took a few 360 photos which are now on google street view. I will be back again sometime. Cheers Andy

Just Visiting as part of annual beer fest excursion. Nice Microbrewery with 5 pumps that sells fresh beer from local breweries. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere lively without being overwhelming and the inside, modernised oak / brass / woodchip style is well looked after and kept. Worth a look

What a gem! So much character, clean and stylish and cozy. Looks like a great selection of real ales too! (Unfortunately I’m on a low-carb diet so I couldn’t sample them this trip, but I’ll definitely do so on my next trip.) Actually, their Pinot Grigio is lovely too! And it’s so rare to find somewhere these days that isn’t blasting music. This is a little haven in the middle of a busy city, and I’m so glad to have found it. Will definitely make it a regular stop whenever I visit Peterborough.

This is one of my favourite pubs in Peterborough. It is a proper little pub with no music, just very friendly people open to good conversation. Every time I have been in I have met someone interesting. It is a very small and cosy venue with an excellent selection of craft beers, gins, mead and more. If you like to try something new then this is a place for you. There are always new guest ales. I'm really looking forward to the next "mini beer festival" where they team up with two other micro pubs and you can catch a free bus between them. I really look forward to getting back in there after the COVID lock down.

Spot on for a micro pub. Can't complain about anything. The barman (owner?) Was a lovely guy who was friendly down to earth, knowledgeable and professional. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy too. A wide range of different ales were available for all tastes.

I was quite surprised when I went in to try the beer in this small but nicely kitted out and friendly place. The variety of beers and ales was nice to see, it reminded me of the beer fest only on a much smaller scale. Fairly priced, good quality products and a friendly smile from the bar lady.

Micro pub close to the station and city centre. There are usually 5 changing cask ales and a couple of craft beers on tap. Craft beers also available in cans and bottles. The same friendly lady has been behind the bar on each of my visits (this being my 3rd). On my first visit she even gave me recommendations for other pubs to try (and very good recommendations they were too). The beers are kept well and reasonably priced. A paddle of three third pints can be bought for the price of a pint. Well worth a visit.

Micropubs haven't really happened in my area yet, so this place was a bit of a novelty for me. We stopped in late afternoon on a Saturday, it wasn't too busy, got a table, and had a great couple of pints. Good snacks too, I think we tried everything. The peanuts and chilli jelly babies rule.

Very typical small micro pub. Does exactly what it says...serves several real ales at a time. Been three times in three days and ticked off four new breweries. As many as all the other outlets visited in Petetborough, Oakham and Huntingdon. Really friendly staff. Highlight of the trip for beer...but the Lord Nelson in Oakham is something special.

We always have time for the landlord and his pub(s). Pity he left the Coalheavers which was very handy for us, however, he then created a lively bijou (do people still say that? - ok, compact) pub with a happy atmosphere (to roughly quote the talented, award-evading Russ Abbot). By the way, the recent brewery hand-pump take-over day was a great idea. Would have voted 5 stars but perhaps we caught the barmaid on an 'off day'.

Attended pie and mash night food hot, but pie rock hard around the edges, and stuck to paper tray it was served in, I could only eat the centre. Staff pleasant and helpful. Only stayed long enough to eat and had to leave too hot and loud. Shame really.

Great little pub, well done to landlord Tom for opening Petetborough's first micro pub. A selection of upto 5 real ales, two craft ales and a great selection of craft cans. The Bumble is a social little boozer. They also sell Tom's signature snacks of homemade nut selection and of course his Cheyenne pepper covered jelly babies known as "Hot Babes". Definitely worth a visit.
