Pretty standard in a nice way. Service was prompt and efficient. The place was clean and spacious. I had this same meal in Stowmarket a few weeks ago and it came with coleslaw but here didn't. Really good value for money :)

Really nice garden and very friendly member of staff collecting glasses and bringing out food. (Lady with short hair) She was also quick to move someone smoking in the wrong area which was good to see. Everything else was as you expect from a Spoons, quick, simple hot food and well price beers.

It was a nice pub but very busy Friday night. Noisy for my ASD adult children. And they were asked for ID. I did spoil my manners a little towards the door person. But did apologise later. It had been a very stressful evening trying to find somewhere to eat. We were surprise how many students live there. We hadn't counted on the fact it is close to cambridge.

Lovely meal before a night at the theatre. Was quickly ordered via the app and drinks arrived quickly to the table. The food took a little longer as the waiter couldnt find our table, claiming we had ordered to the wrong table, however our receipt confirmed the right table was entered. Instead of returning and apologising the young man was just rude blaming us for the error. Automat Automated ordering is a good service, however staff under pressure must find it easy to misunderstand as we weren't the only table with issues as an adjacent table had a completely wrong order. The food was tasty and piping hot, the review has slipped just purely on service.

Standard Wetherspoons experience - cheap beer, sticky tables, a right old mix of clientele. It was very hard to get served on my last visit, taking over 10 minutes waiting at the bar on a Thursday early evening - not very busy, just understaffed and poorly managed.

Went in just after the football started so the staff were busy clearing up after the rush, so fair enough it wasn't perfect. The non-management staff who were on were great, but there weren't enough of them so table orders were very slow and getting our table wiped proved impossible. But plenty of places struggle to cope with temporary crowds (in our opinion, the other Spoons down the road (Draper's Arms) copes better, though).

Standard wetherspoon it's had a refresh but appears dated compared to the other one. This is deffiently a student bar. Apparently it had a refurbishment last year. (?) Doesn't appear to have been that extensive. Looks like it's had new carpets and seat coverings. Unsure about the tables, as I didn't examine them all. Whilst the ladies downstairs toilet has new wash basins, mirrors and taps, the cubicles don't appear much different. Although they now have a contactless flush, which is very easy to activate. Food was quite nice though, and table service was reasonably quick using the QR code. Which is now on the menu, rather than the table, as it was previously. Be aware that it gets very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Popular with people who go clubbing later in the evening.

Very lovely beer garden. They've done really well to separate the smoking area and non smoking area. All the tables are covid safe and the staff are very good. Takes a little while to order a drink but you can kind of expect that during a pandemic so not the end of the world.

Not my first time here, today a late snack 21:20 - Topped Chips, loaded cheese, bacon, without the sour cream(I don't like). I was told 10 to 15 minutes, took about 7. I don't think we can have in Peterborough at this hour this kine of quality/price/service. On the menu says: small plates, well for a snack I'm struggling to finish it. Before I order the snack, I went to the smoking area - CLEAN, I use the male toilets - CLEAN, The Pub looks like it's just open. What more can I say at 21:55... Highly Recommended!!!

Ideally located in town and offers an excellent value range of food/drink, especially the cask ales. Despite a restricted service due to Covid-19 the staff were very busy, but effecient and helpful. The interior of this interesting building and garden have recently been refurbished. Not the place for fine dining, but great for a hearty bite and great beer choice.

Before the revamp, it was a dive but with the obvious advantage of cheap drinks including unlimited refills with tea and coffee which is great. Before covid, it took an age to get served at the bar and now it takes even longer. Many people pushed in the queue and the bar was always sticky. Having said all that, now its been revamped, the beer garden is awesome and if covid ever goes away, i see it as being one of the most popular places in town. Especially in the summer. Good daily specials on food also.

Check out the beer on tab specials. For starters I got seriously wasted after three pint cheap lager. Then I took a short break with excellent bar food. Spicy Chicken Wings and Crispy Fries with a small Cole Slaw. Yummi. After that I was recharged and continued to taste different lager. Börps! Wow, .... That's the way it should be.

I love the new weatherspoon app, made its a lot easier to order foods and drinks without queuing up. Drinks were severed on our table so quickly. Just one disappointment is both of our food not hot like it should be.I ordered Chicken and ribs combo, my chicken was so hard I can't even chew in some bits, ribs was dry and completed cold, only chips and onion rings that extremely hot. My food felt like it been sat for hours, wait for customers to order then just microwave to serve it out. So disappointed about food but happy with all staffs there and they working so quickly to serve food and drinks. Thanks.

Weather spoons pub, and a good one at that. Good size pub, loads of seating and a few booth type areas for available as well. Outside patio area for smoking with large table umbrellas in case of rain. As for food its the standard wetherspoons menu but its cooked well and arrives within 15 minutes usually. Being on the trendy side of town it gets very busy on weekends in the evening with the younger club goers tending to start their night here.

Went their two nights in a row and found there was no toilet paper both night in the men's toilet, the "small plates" portions are very large but some are a little bland such as the garlic bread which may as well have had no garlic or butter, and the nachos had the guacamole already on top so they had to be given to someone else eating with us but for the price it's very good as is most of the food. There were no tables that seated more than 4 so we had to push two together and used makeup wipes and crisp packets on the table.

This seems the go to place. It is a nice place to sit and chill early in the day for breakfast and lunch. It has two outdour spaces and is a bit of a sun trap if you like that, but was nice and cool indoors. Later on it is very busy I was in on a friday and saturday and there is a bit of a queue later on but the atmosphere was good and the doorstaff kept walking round. The service was ok even when full. Toilets as usual upstairs.

I've never been disappointed with either food or drinks in College Arms. It's obviously not a 5* restaurant, but I've had much worse tasting food for double or triple the price in some places... The only downside is that it sometimes attracts a certain type of crowd if you go there before 6pm or so, but that's to be expected when the value for money is so good. Ultimate burger & a pint of brewdog IPA is a winner

Me and my sister had a meal here today Tuesday 30 October. I had ham eggs chips , it was served on a cold plate and the food was bearly warm , the eggs were over cooked , in fact hard . My sister had cottage pie and hers was on cold plate and near to being cold . We were not asked if we were happy with our food at all . I am a user of the hippodrome march Wetherspoons and cannot fault them , but this one I would not recommend to anyone .

The main problem I find is often on certain days or is football match days,during town dinner breaks shopworkers etc make it difficult for regulars to get served, with people constantly pushing in and not waiting their turn Staff come from the coffee machine without having a clue whose next to be served. Incidentally the coffee machine is the main reason for the queuing in the Witherspoon's in whittlesey unless being served people stand a couple of yards away from the bar and only when a vacant barperson comes available do they go to the bar. In 70 year old and cycle to whittlesey twice at week just for that helpfulness and politeness o whittlesey Witherspoon's in preference of the queuing and waiting and lack of continuous bar support.

It's a half decent Weatherspoons pub, wide selection of draught beers and Alci pop drinks, Good food! Needs a makeover male toilets upstairs and smoking in front of the dance floor. Gets very overcrowded coming weekends at month end! Interesting historical photography and artefacts. Place is one of the popular pubs in Peterborough. Could be the best pub in Peterborough with a bit of investment in decor, facilities and outdoor space! Place is not short patrons!
