We had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at The Marina Bar. From start to finish the whole day was perfect. The staff at The Marina Bar went above and beyond to make our day special. We were allowed to set up the venue from 10am and a number of staff members were there to help the wedding party decorate the venue. The venue is a really beautiful place to have a wedding and is in a fantastic location right on the waterfront. We had an afternoon tea and evening buffet there and I have honestly never been to a wedding with so much food! The food was delicious with plenty of choice for all guests. They were even happy for us to bring food from an external supplier for one of our guests who was coeliac and needed a gluten free option. Throughout the day all the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The DJ was also good and played all of the songs we requested whilst also ensuring a good mix of songs were played. I cannot fault anything at The Marina Bar and would definitely recommend couples who are planning their wedding to check it out. Thank you to everyone who helped make our wedding day so special.

Went to a birthday party here with a buffet. Drinks are reasonably priced and the buffet food was very very nice. Always good quality food here. The bar staff were amazing. Super helpful and really really friendly, went above and beyond helping.

I was here to perform at an openmic night, and I stuffer with social anxieties. I didn't! Everyone was very welcoming, staff and clientele equally, and made the night very enjoyable! 😘👌

We've been here a few times, the food portions are generous, the chef is excellent and the owner very friendly. Even in times like we are currently living through if you are in or visiting Plymouth you should pay a visit, you will not regret it.

A great friendly bar. What you see is what you get but the staff are fun and willing to have a laugh (in my experience). On a sunny day the view outside over the harbour is amazing.

Just ordered takeout from Fuel catering for my partners 30th birthday lockdown 2.0 style. And omg we couldn’t have picked a better place to order from. The food was outstanding and amazing portion sizes especially for my (I don’t want any of that posh sized portions) partner. Thank you for making our evening complete.

Great place. Wide selection in drinks at fair prices. The board games club is terrific. I would like to thank the management and staff for allowing this club to go ahead at such a great and welcoming venue. Beautiful view over Sutton Harbour if you sit outside on the benches. Nice wooden traditional interior. Just how a pub/restaurant should be. Highly recommended

Great pub. Went here after our Christmas meal and loved the atmosphere. Good range of drinks, good music and really good vibe. Would definitely go back with a big group not pop in for a few drinks at the weekend. Loved it.

Hidden gem of a venue. Very well maintained bar with a good small space for events downstairs and a large up stairs, perfect for any occasion. Food and drink, top notch. Could perhaps use more vegan options but still, great quality and choice.

We had a private room with a buffet and everyone had a great evening! Zoe was a huge help in organising the event and was very accommodating!

Visited Fuel inside the Marina Bar, the food is AMAZING! always producing quality food, specials are changed daily and posted on Instagram but are also available at the bar. I also ordered a week's worth of food boxes and they were absolutely delicious. You choose what you want in them and it's £21 for 5 boxes, saved me a lot of time in the evenings with sorting meals out!

I used to love going to this place. Been going for 6 months then recently the proportions have gotten smaller. The food is really nice and healthy tho but i only order the same thing.. the chicken breast slices are cut in half. From two big ones to one. Salad/veggie sided used to be a three combo as i dont order carbs but only got two.

Tried Fuel for the first time. Great concept- really tasty food and reasonably priced- does make more sense to take away. Price of drinks is a tad steep at £3.50 for a lime and soda!!

I can honestly say after a recent booking for a wake what a wonderful place this was. The food was amazing the price was brilliant. The room was perfect and daisy was very helpful. Certainly made the day and helped us remember our family member.

Attended a wedding reception here. It was a great location overlooking the Barbican, was really nicely laid out with plenty of seating areas. The food was lovely, a great mixture of comfort food (little burgers, sausages wrapped in bacon, battered fish, stuffed peppers, salads, fries, potato wedges etc. etc.). There was a well stocked bar and a great DJ.

One of the best pubs in Plymouth. However prices have crept up over recent years. Staff are polite and friendly and generally happy to have a chat. There is a large area at the back which regularly hosts functions. There is seating outside which allows you to sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the harbour. Sadly, the only downside is that too many people have cottoned on to this place! It is off the main drag of the Barbican and for years didn't attract the crowds. However, much to the landlords delight it is now very busy. They also do food.

Recent changes in the venue resulted in an improved consumer experience. Benefitting from pleasant outdoor seating overlooking the Marina and the Barbican, and with comfortable spacious seating in an airy friendly atmosphere. There are currently daily breakfast and lunch menus, the lunch menu main, event is the daily carvery, however there is a vegetarian option and a range of lighter options such as 'Ham, Egg & Chips' or vegetarian Quiche and also various childrens options. @ 1st Sept 2016 Daily Menu Mon-Sat 12:00Hrs-17:00Hrs Daily Menu Sunday 11:30Hrs-17:00Hrs There is also currently (@ 1st Sept 2016) live music & quiz nights on Sundays every 2 weeks The Latin Lounge is operated alongside the Bar and the business benefits from this arrangement. There is also an alternate 1st floor venue 'The Loft' which can be booked for events.
