We had a really lovely afternoon here. Was lovely to look at the water. The pizza's were delicious. We did a cider tasting with local ciders. Really friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. They also had colouring pages for kids. Really recommend coming here!

Was able to get a great seat outside and used the barcode on my table to order my food and drinks. When I wanted another drink I just scanned and payed for another one. Cant wait to go back

Great location. Not as noisy as most bars that surrounds the Marina. Good garlic bread and delicious pizzas. It seems to specialized in ciders, but had a selection of British Beers, and lots of wine. Tables on the first floor have a fantastic view of the Marina. What did rock for me was the cushions on the sitting benches. Soft & pleasant to sit. Great one guys.

The staff are brilliant, welcoming, cheerful and helpful. The Sandford Orchards cider is superb and the food is very tasty. The views from the terrace are top drawer, but be aware of incoming bird strikes. I highly recommend The Stable!

Came here after a late movie showing it has a lovely atmosphere and despite arriving at 9pm there was lots of people enjoying the food and drinks. We sat outside as the weather was nice and it was a great atmosphere. I dropped a star as I struggled to order a drink on the app and work out what was included so when I ordered what I thought was correct (raspberry lemonade) but wasn't when it arrived. Was really simple to use if you were after a beer or cider just not a mixer.

If you like craft cider & fresh sour dough pizza then The Stable is a good start to an evening. The Lilleys mango & lilleys bee sting would be my personal recommendations, if you get a pizza make sure someone on your table orders the Blazing saddle pizza as you need to try it. One more thing, if you like a good sharing starter then the Charcuterie board is the one to go for.

This was my first time at the stable. I went for a pizza with a friend who recommended it. We arrived mid evening. Not too busy. Staff immediately attentive and welcoming. Service was good and prompt. I look forward to going back again.

The building is nice and I like how much space the tables have. The pizza was ok but the crust was so thin that it could double as a kite. Not much substance to it. I don’t mind thin crust pizza but this one was just inconsequential. Also the cups were oval shaped and that was kind of fun. Would eat there again if need a last minute option but nothing to write home about

Great service from really friendly and competent staff. We booked fairly last minute for a party of 18 of which half were kids! Staff were really accommodating and attentive. Food/drink orders were all spot on and came out together 🙏

Overall lovely pizzas & a great selection of choices, including numerous vegan ones. Very thin & crispy bases. However, a simple request to omit mushrooms on one fell on deaf ears & the pizza arrived unchanged. I'd recommend booking a table as it gets very busy.

We were very impressed with our lunch here! The entrance is a little off the main strip but the seating offers wonderful views of the harbour. We enjoyed the cider taster and gourmet pizzas which were both lovely. The Covid protocols implemented were also very well executed and the cleaning between customers was very thorough. Well worth the visit!

Have visited the stable often during my time at university and is always amazing quality pizza and great ranges of cider something they pride themselves on and always deliver. If your interested in trying a range of different ciders try the 5 tasters for £10 which can be seen in my photos, this makes trying ciders easier, they also are very accomodating and offer a small taster if your unsure on what cider to get. If In the area and looking for a decent pizza and cider then look no further, you won't be disappointed 🍺🍕

Yikes that was good. For starters, the staff are lovely. We were a little difficult and wanted to move table for a better view, and they were not only willing to accommodate but were funny and friendly as they did so :) they take their jobs seriously and do it well For the food, well... I've had fresh Sicilian pizzas before and fancy Avant Garde ones, but I've never had such a great balance of both in one. The hazelnutter was delicious, inventive and rustically reminiscent. I'm going to come back to Plymouth to eat it again. The brownie was divine. Absolutely perfect way to end the meal and the coffee was the perfect accompaniment. This place now sets the grading curve for any future 5 star reviews. P.s. they chose a very good vegan cheese

We ate from the vegan menu, which we were grateful of <3! We ordered a pizza and the Sooper Dooper salad. The food arrived within 10 minutes which was impressive and the pizza was delicious. The salad was disappointing for £8.50 as it was 90% onion and rocket, was without any sauce (only lemon) and had barely any avocado. It didn't come close to the vegan salads from Las Iguanas, which are the same price, for example. The waitresses were very kind, the outdoors area was beautiful and had heaters, but one of which was broken. The atmosphere was nice. We will definitely return, but we won't be ordering a salad again.

An amazing Valentine’s Day meal. We got the cider tasters (5 1/3 pints for £10) which was lovely. The pies are delicious along with their potato wedges and tomato chutney. Also had a beef pizza with a side of mozzarella pizza bread. Staff were great and very prompt. Highly recommend!

Service is always good here, very busy place which is a good sign. The pizzas are great, thin and crispy with a fantastic selection, they also have a vegan options. If you have a big appetite order a starter or a side with your pizza as the pizza never seems to fill us up.

I came here for a nice evening with just myself and my two children. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Paper and crayons were given to my children whilst we were waiting for food and then when the food arrived it was really tasty. The thin bases are super thin which is just how I like them! My partner and I visited here the first time and were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be coming back! They have a huge range of great ciders that he was very impressed by and great pizzas that were served in 10/15 minutes!! Our waitress Chloe was amazing all evening and always catered to our needs. The best part of our visit was eating the Chocolate Brownie, absolutely amazing 10/10!! Great atmosphere, can’t wait to experience this place in the sunshine!

My only feedback would be a request that the outside dining had been made smoke free during covid restrictions as we were unable to eat indoors and weren't really supposed to move tables. Also, I'm not sure why we had to walk all the way through the inside of the restaurant to be shown to the table outside. I understand they might want a one way system but it seemed illogical and surely there would be more risk of getting covid walking through the whole of the indoors.

I visited for lunch here with a client a couple of weeks ago. I was told the menu had just been changed. Not sure what it used to be like, but the food was absolutely excellent! I enjoyed the tastiest toasted chicken wrap and salad I've ever had the pleasure of eating! Proper tasty. The staff were all very friendly too, have to say. The reason for the drop in stars is that the 'quick' lunch I was after took so long to arrive. Initially, I was brought the wrong dish. Eventually, I was brought that tasty wrap! My client had finished his lunch by this point and was eager to leave. From entering to leaving took nearly 2 hours and I needed to run to the car to put another hour on the parking meter. The food was good enough that a return visit is on the cards. Hopefully the service will be better and I can give this place the rating I think it truly deserves. Edit: I returned, and there is no reason for any loss of stars here, superb food and staff. Thank you.

We were lucky enough to find The Stable on a Tuesday when they have a very good offer on - Pizza, salad and one drink for £10 which is excellent value. The pizza was delicious with a very thin base and plenty of topping, and the salad was lovely, very fresh and with a good dressing. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely little spot overlooking the water, with the added advantage of being South facing so you can sit in the sun while you enjoy your lunch. Decent menu and a nice atmosphere. I had a vegetarian pizza but unless you're that way inclined, ask for proper cheese rather than the vegan cheese that it automatically comes with. You'll not be surprised to hear that vegan cheese is rubbish. I can't speak for the cider but there look to be plenty of options if that's what you're after.

Service was really friendly and pretty quick. There's a large selection of pizzas and I'd say the quality is on par with most chains. The base is really thin and crispy which isn't to everyone's liking, but the toppings are super. The selection of ciders is great and the staff know their stuff so they can help you find something to your taste - I hate sweet ciders and they helped me to avoid! Granted it's a South West chain, but it would be great to have a few more beers on offer, even if they were just cans and bottles, since cider isn't everyone's taste. There was one craft lager on tap and it was a rather good one, but a few options would be nice.

The view from the balcony is lovely and on a good day you could be in the med, not Plymouth. The beer and cider are good, the Pizzas are good but that's about it for food. They do claim to be a Pie pub, but they only ever seem to have three choices. Good place for a Pizza and a beer with a nice ambiance.

Lovely place with an outside terrace over looking the quay and the Barbican. The food is a mixture of grills, pizza, salads and pies. I had a pie called 'The Steak out' which came with Chutney, Potato Wedges and fresh Coleslaw. The meal was clearly produced with fresh ingredients, really well prepared and delicious (especially the Coleslaw) They are not big portions which makes it a little pricey as are the drinks , 3 pints of beer cost nearly £15. I would imagine the price of the food and drinks reflect the rates they have to pay for a bar in such a lovely location . The staff are very friendly, courteous and serve you with a smile and the pub is dog friendly. Will be going again.

The staff are friendly and accommodated a large group. Down side is food is,well, meh! Expensive for a dull pizza. I'm not a fan of pizza chains and was expecting better. Found out this was a chain restaurant! First impressions was it felt like a cosy and comfortable pizza place with great food found in a lovely corner of Plymouth. Turns out you can find them locally in major towns and cities. Worth a visit if you fancy sharing a pizza, some huge potato wedges, and views of the sea. They even let you take your dogs in.

Good inner harbour views from many seats. The cheese and other toppings are in modest quantities, good for those who want a lighter meal or paying attention to calories. Much like the real Italian style vs English or American standard pizzas. I found the peppers put me off many I'd have been interested and regretted the heat of one I tried as an experiment that wasn't identified as hot but was to my palate. I'll go again and customise next time.

Service is generally good. Food is OK although a bit pricey for what it is. Fine for a cheapish and functional meal with a group of friends or with kids. You'd never go there for a date night with your parter. If you do then you should really try harder. My pet peeve is not peculiar to this place, it seems pervasive and it grates with me everytime: when did it become acceptable for waiting staff to refer to guests as 'guys'?? Its sloppy and overly familiar. Stop it!

The guy that "served" me was obviously looking for a quiet night. If I wasn't hungry and tired I would have gone elsewhere. Hands down the best place that I've eaten Pizza in Plymouth. Some of the Ciders on the tasting board were not completely to my taste but what's a tasting board for anyway!! I chose a chorizo and mozzarella pizza, my mum chose a vegan option but asked for non vegan Mozzarella, and my sister was the pickiest with two extra toppings on her vegan Margherita. Everyone was shocked at how easy it was to eat! The thin crust was perfect meaning that there were more toppings than dough!! This was the first time my mum has ever eaten an entire pizza without offering any slices to the table! That alone should speak volumes!! I definitely suggest hitting up this venue for a low price great pizza that you won't regret!

Good location. Good service. Pizza was a bit of a let down I got the Barbican blaster witch said it had naga chillis on anything with the word blaster and naga chillis should be blow your head off hot. The aproatch the stable has taken is to make it sound like a spicy pizza then use little to none naga chillis but use a lot of non spicy red and green chillis to make it look like the real deal. Sure it would of been fine for a non chilli addict. But for someone looking to get there chilli fix this just didn’t do the trick! I did go back to the bar and ask whether the used any naga chillis and they said they do but they put red chillis on as well. I told them it wasn’t spicy and could I please have some more naga chilli. Which wasn’t a problem. But I had already eaten half my pizza trying to work out if there was any nagas on it.
