I was told this was a rough pub, but I went for a couple of pints on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff and managed to walk in on happy hour which made the pints really cheap. Good atmosphere and looks recently refurbished.

There is now a nice menu and the bar staff are very friendly. they've got a pool table and live entertainment. They even have a happy hour so there is very nice priced drinks.

Great atmosphere...lots of entertainment going on throughout the week especially open mic night on a Thursday hosted by the lovely Kay. Friendly staff who like a good banter. Well worth a visit

Great pub, great bar staff. Good place too watch sports. Good food. Only problem is the landlord is rude to customers. Seems to close the bar when he feels like it. Closed it at half time of the liverpool/Chelsea game. Also didn't seem to have enough change in the till and even took money out of a box on a shelf and even his own pocket. He seems out of his depth.. Great pub though.

The establishment had just opened and we had some temporary tech issues, but the gent there passed the time with humour and next thing I'm playing pool and enjoying some free tunes on the jukebox Noice 😘👌

Nice pub with good selection of beer including 3 pumps of ale. However tv screens on every wall and volume frequently too loud. Also lots of sport, which isn't my cup of tea. Staff friendly. Food served, though not eaten there. Parking available but pay and display.

We had a meal here to celebrate my son's graduation last night. The bartender/waiter/ complete allrounder was under immense pressure on his own doing EVERYTHING but managed it with absolute calm professionalism and charm. Good meals and atmosphere.

Stopped off here for a very decent lunchtime burger. Friendly and helpful staff. Full of flags for jubilee. Not a bad range of real ales although they had to go outside to fill my pint which was a bit odd. A good rickety table and wooden floor board pub.

Nice little pub good atmosphere. Food is good and reasonable prices. Only thing I hate is pool table there and not enough space to play as tables and chairs around and it's not big enough really for a pool table where it is

My local not by proximity from home but from promixity to work. Ideal for a lunch time or after work pint. Food portions are huge and food is cheap and tasty. Has pool table. Has juke box (which landlord frequently puts free credits on). Has decking area outside which is great in summer. Good meal deals. Has friendly staff. My ideal pub.

Good ales, but if there is sport on they keep the TV really loud. Okay if you are there to watch. Not so good if you just want a chat with your friends.
