What a fabulous lunch we had today ! Sat in a prime people watching position in the window enjoying The Coach and Horses version of Southern Fried Chicken Strip Platter with Gravy I Better than a well known brand . My friend had the Potato and Leek Soup and she said it was the best she had ever tasted. A fabulous warm friendly welcome in an immaculate pub with Very Very Good Food !! I will be back !!

Decent establishment to go to for the main meal of the day or for something lighter. Staff are very friendly and the food is most enjoyable. Nog too badly priced that it hurts your wallet. Nice comfortable surroundings to relax in.

Always enjoy going to this friendly Freckleton favourite. Known for decades as Ponky's, the pub continues to impress. As I type this it's £3.70 for a cracking pint of Boddingtons. They say you can't eat value, but you can definitely drink it.

Just had a lovely Roast Dinner, the beef was tender, plenty of vegetables, yorkshire pudding and yummy roast potatoes. The place is kept very clean, and the service prompt and courteous. The meal was reasonably priced. You got plenty. Would highly recommend it.

It was a really nice experience visiting the coach and horses. The bar staff were really friendly and made me a breakfast while my head was pounding. Worth a visit for food because it is lovely. I'll be going for an evening meal soon

This is a brilliantly run pub the staff landlord are absolutely professional and very friendly they have helped beyond expectations my wife has Dementia and they have looked after her fantastically even taken her to the toilets but most importantly they treat her as if nothing is wrong with my Jenny, I we feel at home there and they all love our little dog Bailey and look after him too. Thank you so much and will see you all again on the 16th of August when we are up again ♥️ Peter and Jenny

Went for the food so that's what this review is based on, Ok not bad but expected better, trying to use every business in the village in these difficult times but not sure I will eat here again. Must admit felt safe and the staff were very good.

What can I say, I was so nice to be out again and what a well laid out establishment. The staff were polite and courteous. They controlled the service well to be safe in covid times, stuck to the rules. Will definitely be going back for another visit soon, they've got cool app so gonna have a go next time. We visited here last Saturday 24th July 2021 as a group of four. All the staff are fantastic, they couldnt do enough for you. Food was excellent and we will be returning when we stay at Freckleton again. All the best from sunny Morecambe see you soon

Since the re-opening just a few short weeks ago I have eaten there twice. The food is excellent and the staff go the extra mile in friendliness. The refurbishment has been done to a really high standard. It creates a warm and friendly atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommended place to eat ... oh and drink too!

Newly refurbished this pub has a nice ambience. Music is not too loud, lots of pleasant seating areas to choose from and staff were really friendly. Food was quickly prepared and really tasty. Good parking and dog friendly too. Will be back!

Have a great meal today at this pub today staying at the caravan park near by and couldn't get a table anywhere they managed to fit us in and the burgers was amazing and the kids meals was the best iv seen you could tell they put effort into them the chicken nuggets was real chicken in crispy coating even tho they sead there could be a wait for food it still came within 20 minutes

Lovely refurbished local pub. Visited on Friday 21st Feb at teatime. It was busy but we got a table. The staff are friendly and informative telling us it was a 45 min wait, but we didn't mind and enjoyed a drink whilst waiting. The food arrived in 30mins and on hot plates which was great. Our meal was lovely. Will look forward to coming for a Sunday roast.

We Visited a couple of times whilst staying at a caravan park nearby, found it to be a nice friendly place, clean, nice sitting out area , dog friendly made to feel welcome ,our favourite pub out of the 3 in that area, and a lovely pint of doombar look fwd to calling again as we loved the campsite so will be returning 👍

Always a surprise to find poor reviews for the Coach and Horses as the food is excellent the staff always friendly and polite (assuming you are with them) and in these difficult times its a shame they have to put up with whinging customers who obviously think they can make their own rules!!

Has been my regular for many years, although I don't get out as often as I used to thanks to the uk govt. ruining the once thriving pub business.

Set in the glorious countryside in a delightful chocolate box village, this pub with rooms is quite lovely. Some of the staff were friendly the food was ok. We both had a pie and the home made cheese pie I must say was delicious although the chips did not taste nice. The menu was small for a lunch time and choice limited.

Service was great,staff ensured that the environment was arranged to ensure social distances were maintained. We had a meal and we were a group of 10, 5 people at 2 tables. Our meals all came out together and the food was hot. The quality of the food is okay but I dont think it was freshly cooked. I suspect that a lot of the food advertised on the menu is cooked from frozen. I prefer freshly cooked food and would like to be offered locally sourced produce

We went last Friday for a meal and a couple of pints. Food was good, service friendly and efficient, draught beer and lager a really welcome change. Jamie, Beth and the team really go the extra mile to ensure COVID19 ruleas are followed, we felt very welcome and very safe. Got to say out of three meals,there was one disappointment. Sad to say the fish was a small tail end which was more batter than fish.The lasagna was ok as was the hunters chicken Will not stop us going again as the first visit was enjoyable.Did notice after the complaint that they did double up on the next table with the fish.The response what we got was the message Would be passed on,still asking the full price as one said there had been complaints about the fish,disappointed as the fish was chosen as the scampi had sold out.
