S. M.We were debating where to go for dinner and my wife chose here. What a fantastic decision. We had one of the best meals I've ever had in almost 50 years. The service and help we got from Abbey, Tom and Tracey were 2nd to none to start with. We got a couple of drinks to start with, reasonable price and exactly what we wanted, and bought to the table by very friendly staff. Wanting to order food, I ordered the nacho starter expecting it to be small but as I like hot sauces, I asked the barman what was available to go with my main meal. He came back and said they can do me a hot sauce with mine, so I ordered the rack of ribs and the sauce and my wife's fish and chips. The starter came out and it was the biggest and nicest bowl of nachos we've ever had with loads of dipping sauces. I must say I was stuffed after just that. But then the dinners came out. The plates were huge and looked absolutely gorgeous with stacks of food on them. Super impressive and the food was to die for. The sauce was absolutely to die for and I knew the chef had made it specially for me. Words cannot express how nice both meals were and everytime now we go to Blackpool, we are going to make a special trip back to this pub. would recommend it 1000% if you are hungry and near enough to visit it. The pictures I've posted should say it all, and it was a really good price aswell
J. H.We took 5 adults with learning disabilities here thos evening for a meal out. From the moment we arrived, a member of staff named Jack went above and beyond treating these adults like royalty. A great meal with outstanding service. We'll done, Jack, you were amazing.

However so glad we never, food fantastic, menu we'll set out. But the best bit the two female staff members.
Nothing was too much trouble. Even game us a gap between main and pudding

D. C.We usually like visiting this place, but not so much now they are allowing dogs in. It is good for dog owners and I know there are lots of people with dogs. Should dogs be allowed into an area where food is served though?
The staff are great and the food is good, but we can't go there if dogs are allowed. First, there was a dog friendly area, and now they seemed to be allowed to go anywhere. What about people who are allergic to dogs?
R. B.Delicious surf and turf. The staff were absolutely lovely. Knocked a star off for not having quite a few of the items we wanted. Would recommend!
K. M.Fun night out with friends, food was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Tiny mix-up with their ticket system for digital orders, which was sorted out later in the evening. Would recommend. Lovely warm atmosphere.
L. H.Visited for lunch with a friend without reservation & there was enough space, didn't need to ask for table & luckily the big couch by the log fire was free so felt really comfortable & warm.
The menu had some vegan options & they have a tablet in the back if you have dietary requirements just tick what applies & it then shows you what is available to order.
The bartender was lovely & went above & beyond to make sure dietary needs were met & even though I felt like I was being a total pain he was so patient & kind.
Two waitresses also passed whilst we were there & checked everything was ok & they were really friendly - we just felt well looked after.
The food was really good for the usual pub lunch & arrived quickly. Great prices too. Would definitely recommend for a lunchtime catch up.

T. W.Slightly late in adding this as we attended for lunch a week or so ago. Customer service was incredible from the minute we stepped foot in the Anderton Arms. They opened us a tab to save paying each time we ordered a drink. Food was quick to be served and we couldn't fault it. The waitress was on hand to help with a very minor item missing from the mixed grill, which by the way is rediculously well priced. My husband always gets a mixed grill and this was the best he'd had for a while, and probably the cheapest. All in all a fantastic lunch, and the lager was also very very nic, which was recommended to us by the man serving on the bar. Can't remember his name but Friday lunch time. We will be returning again as soon as we get chance and I have already recommended to my friends. Welldone Anderton Arms, you were amazing 🤩
L. O.I rarely ever write posts but I had to today. Me and my mum visited the pub on Friday 14th at 1pm and I must say the staff are absolutely brilliant such lovely manner and Truly the faces of the company.
