s. k.Was recommended to visit this place for lunch by one of the locals as we were visiting from London for the weekend and staying up the road.
We had sautéed mushrooms starter, beef Wellington and rib eye steak for mains.
Absolutely fantastic food, well made, well presented and well eaten.
Staff are very friendly and fitted us in without a booking.
Would highly recommend this establishment for anyone visiting the area

F. P.Really lovely pub with really friendly staff! Went in for just a drink not having booked a table and everyone was very accommodating. Ended up staying for dinner as there were some last minute cancellations. Nice selection of drinks and dishes. The linguini was really good, but the roast wasn't really that remarkable. Very cozy atmosphere, definitely going back!

M. T.Recently ate there and I was very happy with my meal - I had beef wellington amd it was perfectly cooked. The only thing I would note is that the prices are a little high for some menu items at what us basically a pub, I haven't marked down though because the value of choice was very good.
