Nice pub, small and cosy. Visited on Mother's Day and ordered the rump steak. It comes raw on a hot plate so you can cook it to your liking!

Lovely find for us! The red lion is a fab pub. The garden is a great size and enclosed so great for us to meet our family and allow the children to play together safely. My sister in law & I both had the hunters chicken. And my husband and brother in law had the burgers. The only thing I can say that can be improved is that there is no children’s menu, but for both our kids wasn’t too much of a problem as they were able to share a pizza. The food was all lovely & didn’t take too long. Will definitely be coming back when the weather is lovely! 😎

My first visit for some time. Glad to discover that there is still a pub at the heart of the Red Lion - and dog friendly in the bar area.
Most of the staff were helpful and friendly.
One slight niggle - It is a shame that you need a table number to order food at the bar. That really spoils the traditional pub feel.

Well back again for the third time. and once again everything is amazing. Had scampi and the cheesecake bomb. The only suggestion I have is a wedge of lemon to go with the scampi as that would complete the dish.
Definitely coming again 😁

Long time return to what was a lovely country pub in beautiful surroundings. Its very much an eaterie now but then so are many pubs that have struggled. Now part of a big chain is keeps the food just about reasonable on price. Two of my party had Liver, sadly overcooked, a pretty basic mistake tbh and should not have been served. I had the vegan halloumi and mushroom burger which was gorgeous, best pub burger in a while. Chips were also really good. One thing, served on a small wooden board 🙄 I thought we'd be past this nonsense in 2022. Wasn't big enough either to eat a messy burger. The Three staff were all excellent, smiley, courteous and efficient so you can't ask for more there. So imo needs a little fine tuning but getting there. I would go again maybe try a Roast.

Been going to the Red Lion for years, it's a great pub with good beers, the garden had just been redone and is very smart.
My wife came on her horse and we had a nice pint.

Went here for dinner yesterday and it was wonderful. So well looked after - thank you.
Food was really great, with so much more on the menu we want to try - felt really safe. COVID processes are flawless & Christmas decs look amazing!!!
Please book in for a meal - you won’t regret it & the pubs need us more than ever right now!!

A beautiful homely little pub, just the sort of place to spend a cold Autumn or Winter evening. We received a lovely welcome on arrival and everyone was so friendly and attentive throughout. The food was excellent and there was so much choice it was honestly hard to decide, but from starter to pudding it was well prepared and very tasty! The service was exemplary at all times, and everyone agreed we all had a great time and will definitely return.
It may be a little out of the way but definitely worth seeking out - you will not be disappointed.

Couldn't say a single bad thing about this place. Food amazing. Staff amazing. Prices are amazing. Portions are big but they do offer smaller portions.
Been here twice and I would definitely come again.
