This pub is second to none for good service and nothing is too much trouble. Moreover Jennie and her team are doing a wonderful thing for the community in hosting the weekly social events on Saturday mornings for Ukrainian refugees. The atmosphere must be great considering the popularity of them.

Always a great time at the cricketers in woolston. Great selection of beverages, weekends are lively with upbeat positive locals, party atmosphere and great on match days with multiple TVs and function room as well. Highly reccomend 🙏

Very nice & friendly the only thing that could entice more people would be a better disable toilet as i am unable to weight bare my wheelchair does not allow to get in im hoping to become a regular. Hope you don't mind me making this kind remark.

Been coming here now for a few years much better with the appointments app no longer waiting about for long periods of time in a packed shop . Scott is friendly and chatty and there is a kettle on hand if you want to make a brew .

I should start by saying that I went here on a Tuesday afternoon so it was super quiet when I was here. I only went because my car was in the garage next door and I decided to wait for it instead of walking home. However, I do not regret my decision to get a drink and sit out in the sun because the barmaid was friendly and prompt with my order. She also made an effort to make sure I was satisfied with my drink. I didn't see much of the inside because as I said earlier, I took my Pepsi outside to drink, but from what I saw it looked quite cosy and very clean. I saw other reviews that complained about the plastic cups; however I would like to add that my drink was served in a proper glass. They only serve drinks in plastic cups after 10pm (which makes sense because the only other time I have been here was on a Friday or Saturday evening and it was full of rowdy men lol).

You know what? This is actually a lovely, welcoming pub. As one of the generations of men that doesn't subsist solely on lager and football I often look at pubs that rely on those for their trade and think of them as places that I wouldn't 'fit in', but honestly the locals and friendly and the bar staff are lovely.

The cricketers used to be called The Bridge Inn very friendly place. The bar staff very welcoming and pub has a good atmosphere and selection of beers and largers, wines and spirits. They also have a open mic night every other Sunday with good musicians am well impressed with this as it seems to me live music with could become a thing of the past, but let's hope not. The pub has good seating area outside plus a car park at the back. The pub also has a beautiful function room which can accommodate a large number of people highly recommended for weddings, anniversary, birthdays in fact any celebration you can think of. You also can vape inside the pub so long as its not not those dragon vapes. I highly recommend the pub for single people I was totally respected by the regulars. Shall definitely go again.

My car engine light had been on a couple minutes and the back fired. Pulled into the pub and went inside. Was met by a lovely lady who asked what I'd like. A cup of tea please I need a cup of tea. We don't really sell tea she said but seeing my distress said it's ok I'll make you a cup and promptly went of and made me a perfect cup. What a real life angel. Thank you for making me believe in the human race again Highly recommend the pub.

Just the same as when it was the bridge. Overpriced beer but decent quality, pool table still there but without the benefit of having a smoking area near the back door. Don't make a special effort to get here.

Went to a party there recently and it was great! Would thoroughly recommend it if you have advent coming up to hire this place for it. Well laid out with friendly staff and a great dance floor.

Very friendly great atmosphere great service only problem I found was there was no facilities for disabled toilets very disappointed as I am a wheelchair user although you had the grab rails in the toilet it was not suitable for someone in a wheelchair apart from that it's a lovely pub

not as good as it used to be.....a lot of the local faces seem to have disappeared....not sure why...but heard rumors!!! Atmosphere seems ok though and enjoyed the relative peace it now seems to have....all in all though a nice pub

New relief landlord Russell is very welcoming and has been working very hard to accommodate everyone. It's a real shame he can't stay and be appreciated by Marston he is a credit and should be encouraged not moved on.

Large Marston's roadside pub near the roundabout leading to the Itchen Toll Bridge into Southampton. It's a little run down. It no longer does food, and there's an air of neglect about the large echoing back room, which has a stage and dance floor. Pool table and large TV screens in the front room. Two cask ales on offer - Pedigree and BoonDoggle. Decent condition. Children welcome. Smokers use the entrance lobby on damp days. The place is not attractive, comfortable or charming, but it does serve beer, and is not offensive.
