I cannot praise the Guildhall staff enough for their attentiveness! I'm only just coming to terms with my mobility issues and your staff and venue made my first concert in 17 years an amazing experience. Well done guys 👍 I loved seeing Jake Bugg so much that tonight my carer husband and I are on our way to see Feeder 🎉🎊😊🥳

Visit the art gallery, is free, and is sadly missed by many. From your talent on the entrance walls to the spacial staircase and statues upstairs. A place of reflection. Better more experience the talent on show.

Multiple events held at this location. Always clean and a fantastic communal space for extreme sports enthusiasts from skateboarding to BMX to rollerblading. The community is great and looks after the area.

Great place to feel the city space. Does that make any sense ? I saw the Chinese Dragon welcome in the New Year. I used to sit in the coffee shop café but it looked shut.

A great open space in Southampton where events take place such as the Chinese New year celebrations and the Skyride. When there are no events on there are skatrboarders doing tricks and some nice eateries....a great place to take a breather

Octoberfest in the Guildhall Square. Not bad. Fun day out. £6+ a pint though and £5 for a stein on top of that.

As an open space it is fine. Looks very dated tho. Amateur graffiti art is very old fashioned and cliche. Lights falling out of the trees. Benches are large and functional tho.

Good place for skateboarding, nice wide open space. Has plenty of benches and grass to sit on and bins for your rubbish (though people still litter, ruining the space for everyone). That is the only thing I'd say negatively about it, that idiots leave their rubbish there. Otherwise awesome hang out spot.

Amazing place, visited it during Southampton Pride. An event well organised. The square was secured and separate from the main streets

It was alright here. Nice spot to sit on a sunny day. My girlfriend and I walked here and sat down on one of the benches to enjoy the sun and watch the skaters doing tricks in the square. Would've given 5 stars but some PCSO came over and started having a go at me and my girlfriend for having a can of Thatchers Cider. I mean really... Two near 30 year olds quietly having one drink and causing absolutely no hassle. Real shame. Gives the police a bad reputation in my opinion.... But the square is nice!

Went to visit for the remembrance Sunday celebrations with my daughter who is a cadet, great meeting point and a clean area

It's the very centre of Southampton dubbed as the cultural quarter. Nice little restaurant - turtle Bay who do great cocktails. The O2 guildhall where some good bands and comedians play regularly and the NSU theatre are all located just off this square. Also lots of seating to just sit and watch the world go by - if you can handle all the rubbish skaters that practice here that can't even do a decent Ollie.

I went to the artificial beach with my kids and it was fun. There different activities teble tennis, football pitch, colouring and drawing section, picture frames, basketball and live bands. It was well arranged and beautiful.

Free activities for the next couple of weeks into August 2019. Free screenings of classic films all set up on a pretend beach in guildhall square! Lovely atmosphere. Really great place to visit

Great idea! Sand and beach lounges in the sun with loads of families having fun. Amazing atmosphere! You're literally at the 'beach' away from the beach. Really good stuff!

Great event space and bustling bars (including Artisan and Mettricks - great places for a coffee, and Momento - for authentic homemade Italian food and pastries), in a nice setting between the Guildhall and central parks. Also now home to 2 art galleries and a theatre (with Stage Door also around the corner).
