We sat in the beer garden in the sun, nice pint of San Miguel, sadly they'd run out of brandy so my wife settled for a double Krakken!! Friendly and helpful bar staff. Altogether we enjoyed our short stay

Staff were friendly, great outdoor setting for children to play and run around. Prices are fair but food was not so great. We ordered a kids meal pizza, pizza wasn't cut and the sides of carrots and cucumbers were old and stale. Mains we ordered a burger, chips were great but patty was burnt and burger itself had no flavour, it was just bland. Korean fish slider, fish was just plain cod and the bun was stale, had wilted lettuce and no sauce. Battered halumi had a fish taste as if this has been deep fried in the same oil as the fish.

Lovely dog friendly pub, visited whilst staying at nearby campsite prior to getting the ferry for Spain. The staff were excellent, as was the food and drink. It's also a sports bar with a large screen TV. We were made welcome by both the staff and customers alike. My dog was spoilt with tasty treats. Great night, many thanks

Nice enough pub, good ale, I had the Greene King Fireplace, their winter ale, well kept and very pleasant. Good was ok, certainly nothing to complain about but nothing to get too excited about.

Went for a walk along the coast then dropped in for a drink and spot of lunch. The food looked and tasted good with a good choice from the menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of room inside to eat and a nice cover seating/eating area outside(which is also heated). Dog friendly so he was happy( as he got made a fuss of). A play area for the kids to play on and room for them to run about. Plenty of parking to the side of the pub. Well worth a vist.

Greene King pub, so you know what to expect. I went on a Saturday lunchtime, and it was very busy, but the restaurant part was OK. Quite a small car park, but public one across the road. Staff very friendly, and food was good.

Four adults and two children starving after a day in beaulieu motor show, stopped off here for a bite to eat. We were not disappointed, two of the adults were disabled and the access was easy to use and find, a lovely play area out the back for the children which our two thoroughly enjoyed. We ate out the back under the heated shelter which was very cosy. Some of our party are fussy eaters but all of us ate nearly everything on our plates we even had desserts which were lovely. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and very polite. Hopefully we will visit again when we are back down this area. Thank you all for a great night

A great place for a drink or meal. Excellent service from a very friendly bar staff. If you're into sports, a very popular venue. A large garden for the kiddies whilst you enjoy the great hospitality. The drinks selection like most pubs is extensive and the meals from a varied menu have always been top class. Have never had a bad meal here and never had reason to complain. Definitely a 5* venue.

Visited for a lunchtime meal with the family. Large modern pub with a sports bar theme. Drinks good value with a Peroni and a large house red coming in at £10. However our food wasn't great. All came out at different times and the pizza was especially bad. Much better going to a decent spoons with a pizza oven. Cheap doesn't have to be bad!

Good pub. Very much a chain pub but good atmosphere none the less. It would be nice if children were kept to one area though. Food is decent and the price all round is good. There's a pool table in its own area and the beer garden is big and pleasant with a children's play area. Overall a good pub but nothing to remember.

We had a table of around 20 booked for a post wedding get together with family.The manager and staff were so nice and even gave the newly weds a bottle of Prosecco! Every single starter, main and dessert was lovely and the manager even made sure our meals came out together! Can't fault this place at all, will be returning again!

We arrived on feb 14th 5pm and were greeted by the pub manager who was very friendly and helpful. She was fab with the kids. We ordered at the bar and again the girl who served us was friendly and good at her job. Food was served in good time and all our meals were hot and very tasty. The guy who brought them out, (think he was a mamager) couldve been a bit happier and smiled! But overall, food was great, service was good and id definately recommend.

Great pub, homely and warm. Never had a bad experience here. The food is proper pub food (their Sunday roast are an decent size) and excellent value for money, Great selection of ales too and very attentive staff, even at busy werkend. Even has a pool table tucked away at the other end of the bar.

Hold our Christmas event here every year and they have always amazed us with the quality, speed and hotness of the food. The service is second to none, always cheerful staff. Personal visits are also never a let down, have brought many friends in for meals. Best place around for food etc.

What a great way to start the week. A good honest, sensibly priced pub meal. I couldn't fault my gammon, eggs and chips and my husband's steak pie and chips, mash is available;-), followed up by quiz night. Gary the landlord makes you welcome and brings his own brand of humour to make it a fun occasion with good banter. Generous prizes regardless who wins.

First time we have been there, 4 of us went for dinner and drinks, everything was very good apart from my mixed grill, asked for it to be well done, cut in to the steak and it was more like medium, a lad came over to see if everything was ok so I just had a very quiet and polite word about the steak and just let the chef know, after he went I started on the chicken that was only just warm, so I left half of that, another lad come to clear the table and I mentioned about the steak and the chicken just so that they know that there was a problem, I was thinking that someone would have just mention to the manager that there was a problem be someone say sorry mate can I buy you a beer, I would of just said that's not necessary but thank you for coming over then they would of got 5 stars.all the other food was spot on, when I went up to pay the chap that served me looked like he was the big cheese, asked me how it all was and I very quietly and very politely told him, it seems that nobody had mentioned it. We will be going back because there are things on the menu that I would like to try. Will be back in a week or so.

Visited this Pub on Sunday with my parents, not impressed, over 45 min wait for meals then my dads meal was cold so returned it. I had booked a table online only to find when I got to Pub no table had been reserved, waitress said I should have rung them too as online booking not guaranteed, so why have a service that doesn't work??
