Nice food, plenty of it. Unfortunately they only have 1alcohol free beer,which if you are diabetic like me is of no use to you as it contains too much sugar. Nice pub though, owner is friendly, food prices are very good.

Charming little Inn. Lovely people and great food freshly cooked. First visit and very impressed. Nice Ales to. Hoping to visit again soon. A pub as a pub should be. Thank you for a enjoyable time at your charming pub.

Great food. The fish portion was huge and juicy and much appreciated after a day of travelling. Loads of gluten free options and they specially prepared a fryer for the chips. Amazing service and they were attentive throughout.

Excellent meal and first class service. We phoned up at short notice and booked a table outside in the garden. Met with a friendly welcoming greeting and nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were really good value for money. The Sunday roasts are of a high standard and super portions. Went to The Cottage for Sunday lunch today and it was amazing! Had roast lamb and there was so much meat, best roast we have had. Friendly good service too. Would definitely recommend this pub for great food. We will be going back soon.

This is a great little pub. It was late on Saturday when we got there and it was very busy. Staff were friendly. It has a good selection of real ales. Well worth a visit.

Visited whilst on an overnight stay before ferry crossing, recommended by campsite as a dog friendly family pub and did not disappoint! Delicious food, huge portions (remarked on exit that the fajitas could've fed both adults) and nice, friendly, service. Will visit again if in the area.

Well what can I say! We had two tables booked following my Mums funeral. The landlord and landlady were very welcoming, the regulars were welcoming too. The food was amazing, everything home cooked and very generous portions too. Would highly recommend this wonderful place

My 5 girlfriends and I went to the cottage pub for lunch and drinks on Monday, the food was hot and so much i couldn't eat it all. But the new manager (Aron) i think that was his name was so friendly and helpful he is a credit to the pub, we will be back but can you serve jacket spuds and cold sandwiches please.

Went to the cottage yesterday for my grandsons 16 birthday meal . Why have I never been here before. the food was excellent and the staff were so friendly, what a little gem of a pub . You have just gained another customer . Thanks to you all . I will now be a regular for food and drinks 👍👍👍

Great boozer, good ale selection, great food and not stupid prices, nice landlady who let us order fish and chips in as it was the chef's night off, not saying she would do this for you but very helpful and nice regulars who actually talk to you!!

Lovely friendly pub where you get welcomed if you are a regular or someone thats never been before. The staff are fantastic and very attentive, if you have an empty or nearly empty glass you can be sure that someone will ask you if you want another. The 6x is out of this world, the best kept 6x I have ever drank. There are sandwiches normally that are very nice but simple, just what you want after a hard day at work, a good beer and a roll. oh and theres a pool table, one of very few left in the area. All in all, a great place to chill, drink with friends, and have a good time.
