B. J.An amazing little pub in the centre of town that still retains the feel of the much missed local pub. Great staff, great food, good selection of beers, wines and spirits and entertainment provided on selected nights throughout the week. Brilliant doorstaff at weekends, garden accessible from the pub for use in all weather. If you haven't visited, take the opportunity to check out The Lion!
D. B.Really liked this pub. They have a good selection of beers and ciders at reasonable prices. There are a lot of comfortable seating available. A pool table, they do motown nights as well. The outside seating is partially covered. Most importantly the service was very friendly and welcoming.

E. R.Good friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Thursday night karaoke is brilliant. Staff all helpful and friendly as well as security. Any sign of an argument or unpeaceful behaviour and it was stopped before it started or the people were moved on politely by security. A great night out!

The staff here as a whole are genuinely lovely people. They cater for all kinds of people here and are never discriminating
