Lovely pub with good beer. The staff are brilliant and it's only a stones throw for me. Just make sure you don't sit in the locals seat or you get daggers all night till you feel like you have to leave.

Best pub in Longton (by a country mile), and probably Stoke. Serves a wide array of real ales, imported beers and mysterious delights all served in the proper glass and kept perfectly. If it isn't on tap, they probably have it bottled, even if it is a niche belgian beer brewed at midnight by blind monks in Antwerp. Utterly rammed with people, seemingly whenever they are open. All of them lovely interesting chaps and ladies, all fans of a quality drop of ale. Lovely.

Great little pub with a good atmosphere. The star here is the selection of beers - a good number of options on the pump that are regularly updated. Fantastic stuff.

Last of a dying breed of real pubs. Not the prettiest interior but great clientele and even greater selection of ales, beers, stouts, and largers. The landlord Shaun is a top bloke and is able to fix the errant satellite TV system simply by staring at it.
