Reviews of The Lord Burton - JD Wetherspoon
M. I.
I went there with a friend some days in July to drink some pints and have dinner, and I loved the pub! Garlic bread, pizza, fish and chips and hamburguers were delicious in the garden! Service was usually very fast!

The pub was clean and tidy but it was first thing on the morning. Service was slightly slower than normal but the food was hot and fresh. Fried eggs were a bit over cooked and I ordered extra mushrooms and tomatoe. I got half a tomato and a tiny mushroom!
Staff were really friendly and the breakfast menu was large which had lots of options for vegetarians and vegans.

Decent as far as spoons goes. Massive beer garden out back with like palm trees and that. Good selection of guest ales to bring out the old man in me. Only downside is the toilet is somewhere in orbit above the pub.

Brakefast was lovely. Was very busy tho

I think they are cutting down on their meal sizes. I think I received half a portion of chips with my meal. The onion rings came about 15 minutes before the food. So they was cold and greasy.
It does get busy but you can usually get a seat. Same sort of staff, some helpful, some not.
Usual weatherspoons menu. Toilets are up a lot of stairs. But they do have a toilet downstairs, you might need to get the radar key at the bar to open it.

Good selection of beer. Food is ok. Pub is clean nice garden staff very polite and friendly. Got to say that the Mens toilets are in a poor condition and not very clean. Missing toilet seats, broken door locks and toilet roll holders needs fixing.

Friendly staff and quick to be served.
We used the app to order food & drink. Both arrived within a decent time frame and the food was tasty enough for how much you pay.
