Reviews of The Waterfront

Stopped here for lunch as it had been recommended. We were not disappointed. A lovely venue in a stunning location with plenty of disabled parking. Wheelchair accessible entrance. A warm welcome from the friendly staff. Despite not having …

We've just had my birthday dinner here and I must say compliments to the chef. My partners salmon meal was lovely (her words) and my chicken pizza was extremely nice. They surprised me with a birthday drink which I was not expecting, so thank you.
This is the first time that we've been here, but it will not be the last.
Thank you...

What a wonderful place, friendly staff great food and a lovely setting. Just one small issue a cocktail we order either had zero alcohol or they just showed the bottle to the glass. It got sorted but shouldn't of happened.

Arrived at 4.45 to be told no food was to be served until 6pm and to take a seat by a rather rude waitress. We did as directed then it became apparent that if we did not approach staff again to inform them that we were wanting to eat and that our names had not been taken we would not be informed when a table was available. Again we approached another waitress who gave another rude response to our query which led to us approaching a 3rd member of staff who did take our names. When 6pm had passed it again was apparent that we were not going to be informed that our table was ready but on approaching the front desk we were informed our table was ready. The table service, food and waiter were all lovely as well as the bartender. And yet the rest of the front of house staff all need an attitude check

Not a great choice of food on the menu but what we did have tasted nice. Not many options for desert either, but what we did have tasted nice. It could just be a post covid situation so this hopefully might improve. Staff were friendly and seemed to be glad to be there and were as attentive as you need them to be. Prices for food were up there but presentation of the food made it look special. All in all, the place suited our purposes that evening for dinner.

Great place for a visit, paths to walk, specialised shops, an art gallery, paint a pot for children, a small cinema, and an excellent foodie pub with table only service. Great staff, quick service, Great Food. Free parking.

Love it here! Beer and wine selection very good! Ambience very good! Lovely wood burning stove to sit near or sit in the bar at high tables for drinks. Waitress service from your table, whether eating in or just for a drink. All in all, marvellous!

Visited to have a cooked breakfast. Very tasty, well cooked. Excellent service.
No issues parking either.
Overall, well worth the visit.

Nice lunch. Quite pricey for the place, food and quantity. But it was nice and would probably go back at some point.
The food was sirloin steak sandwich with salad and Dijon mustard.
8/10

The location is stunning. Placed on the Barton marina with a view on the canal the place has indoor and outdoor seats, both offering a cozy place to eat.
The food selection is the usual of the waterfront with some additional selection of seafood and mussels. When we've been there it was a little busy so the waiting time was a little longer than usual but the staff was really nice and let us know that there were some delays and some of the dishes weren't available due to shortage of ingredients. The overall quality of the food was ok. Probably worth trying a second time when less busy.
