Reviews of The Cross Keys

If you're looking for a good night out on a Saturday night I highly recommend this place. Always a good band on and drinks are 1 of the cheapest around wind Street. Amazing beer garden. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I have been visiting this pub for many years and would say it's 1 of the best in town. I would say average age is 50-60 and mixture of all other ages. You won't be disappointed if you pay a visit

Nice pub!!
When the door flaps open and closed you get a waft of pish into the bar area. Didn’t mind so much as I was wrecked by that point. The people dancing were very entertaining and the DJ was pretty good too. I might bring Mad John from next door and aunty Hilda next time, they would love it.

This was a really interesting pub, still operating since the 1300s! The building looks like it, too. Old stone and mortar. Almost ruins looking. I had no plans of getting food at the time, but it was close enough to lunch time and the building interested me. Going in, I was greeted by the bartender, whose name I forget, but he was an extremely nice man that gave me a history lesson on the building, as well as other places in Swansea, the Castle, and The Mumbles. I got the fish and chips and assume it was pretty traditional, skin and bones and all. Us Americans aren't used to that, but I got through it ok :) It tasted fine. Lots to choose from on tap. Fast, great service and a really neat building to eat it in!

Went by accident on a Sunday afternoon. Band setting up ( called Not Guilty I think). Started at 4 . Pub filled up . Beer very reasonable. Will definitely go again.

The bar service was slow not enough staff . However the member of staff that served me was amazing.
Telling us to use the ATM as it was free. If you use a card there is a charge of 50p
The toilets were clean and in good order.
It was about 25 minutes before we had our food.
When the food came it was good and value for money.

Great selection of drinks at good prices served by some of the friendliest staff in Swansea.

Great prices but toilets are the same as 20 years ago. They need doing up and a good uplift else where. Still a good pub though.

Good pint, good atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. Bit dark but had the football on TV ⚽👍although the sound matched one TV the other side of the room not where we were

Decent pub, good location.. Beer garden to rear with live music on occasions.. Toilets need better cleaning.
