Four of us went here for a pub lunch and weren't disappointed. The food was outstanding and very generous portions. Myself and my sister in law tried the homemade curry and it was delicious, my wife had the surf and turf and said it's been the best one in a good while and my brother in law had the fish and chips which was huge. Definitely be going back and Hayley the owner and cook was very welcoming. Excellent

We travelled all the way from Cardiff as we'd heard the food here was great - and it did not disappoint. Best pub meal I've had in years. Great portions and the home made chips were amazing! Will definitely be recommending to others and coming back soon

Went here for a baby shower and it was wonderful. Despite the rain we had location's to sit in in the newly converted cabin (with a heater TV and seating for at least 15) Wonderful table service even outside where the awesome staff bless them were getting a little wet! We didn't have food today as there was a buffet provided for the baby shower by the host.

Went to leaving do for a work colleague. Hired the summer house for the afternoon in case it rained. Plenty big enough for the 7 of us. Drinks were a reasonable price. Good atmosphere.

Another delicious meal at The Wern. Food is always fantastic. Hayley always goes above and beyond for her customers. The tomahawk steaks are absolutely delicious. Gutted I didn't take any pics before devouring the steak though. Definitely pics next time

Never been here before and it was a family birthday celebration meal, all home cooked the chips were so nice and the steak was lovely. There was 13 of us including children and all good was served at the same time and the peas were like steak by night peas 🤣 if you've been to steal by night you'll understand. Would definitely go there again for food

Had a family meal here tonight, the staff and landlady was very friendly and we had a warm welcome. Even tho there was 15 of us we had our food the same time, The food is unreal the portion sizes are huge the quality for the food is outstanding and very good value for money, We will all definitely go back there. First time at this pub yesterday and what a fantastic day/night we had! Despite being busy and short staffed we were made to feel so welcome and looked after by the landlady and her staff that were there. They were amazing! We all had food and it was beautiful and so reasonably priced. Great entertainment and fun had by all. We will definitely be returning. Cant wait for our next night out! Fantastic venue for a function, buffet was first class, staff are equally impressive and the beer garden has been well thought out and we'll appointed with shelter and heating (on request) I can't thank them enough for the professionalism and respect they showed for my father's wake and would recommend for any function or a pleasant evening for a couple of drinks.

Spent the evening at the wern for my sons birthday 30 of us booked for a meal and every meal came out brilliant. Lovley proper home cooked food. After food a singer was on and we had an amazing night the atmosphere was just great the owners hayley and bernie certainly pulled out all the stops to make it a great night and the bar staff were awesome.
