First time in this pub for a leaving do, wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised, as the food was amazing! all the dishes that came out were hot! Well presented and so tasty! Well done to the owners it must have taken a lot of effort to feed us all, I would definitely recommend eating here the food is lovely 😊 the ambience was good to, cozy little place x

What a little Gem! After being let down by a neighbouring pub, my partner and I found this place on Google Maps and decided to give it a go. The pub was neat, tidy and pleasant but the real stars of the show were a.) The owners (a wonderfully friendly and welcoming South African couple) and b.) The FOOD! ... Wow what a treat. I had a medium spiced Thai curry that was delicious and my girlfriend had what she described as "The best Veggie burger I've ever had"! All in all... Very good. Thank you Royal George!

Great ambience, delicious and beautifully presented food and excellent service. Absolutely love the look and feel of this pub,from the "linger a little longer" feel of the snug room to the airy dining room to the sociable vibe of the pub area. The owners (south african couple) are wonderful hosts and will make your visit worthwhile.

Family late Christmas get together Saturday a member of the family is gluten free Kaz and Sonya went out of there way to accommodate him getting gluten free beer in especially for him and makeing changes to there menu had a great time, would definitely recommend the George to everyone

Another great trip to this lovely village pub. Great snug, restaurant area and lovely garden. We had a wonderful meal last night. Food was fabulous and all made from scratch. The Seafood Linguine was delicious and so fresh. Kaz and Sonya could not be more welcoming and also reunited our little boy with a toy he left there weeks ago. The service, friendliness , drinks and food is worth a visit. My family from Ireland really enjoyed theselves and the children had a great time too. See you both soon!

We were looked after so well from the moment we walked in looking for some refreshments! The food is all fresh so worth ringing ahead if you want the full menu, but they offer great snacks and I had a fish finger burger which was much better than one I rustled-up the other day. Very snug and friendly atmosphere with plenty of outside seating too.

Always a welcoming atmosphere, food is always 👌 top notch. Especially the Sunday roasts and the toasted sandwiches the chips are my favourite, but you'll have to try them for yourself to understand what I mean.

Excellent traditional pub. Great staff excellent ale. Opening hours are limited, so best to check before visiting. Food served, but this is also limited. Pool table on site, outside seating and parking, I suggest you give it a try.

What a quaint family pub , warm welcome awaits by landlord and locals, nice size pub with plenty of parking , lots of room inside the main bar area , and a snug room with a lovely warming fire . Well kept ales and beers, not tried the food yet but will on my next visit as the locals seem to enjoy. Look forward to seeing all again

Think they need a bit of a kick up the bum they could have real potential here. The garden needs a good clean. And so does the bus need an upgrade. The inside is very dark and squished together. Don't give up guys your great people but you need to love your business and put alot more work into the look. You also have to squish through people eating to get to the toilet which is awful! Give us some room.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and Manager will often come around and introduce himself. Drink prices are good for the area also.

The staff are friendly and the food reasonable. The decor is very much in need of refurbishment though. Sadly, it is not an attractive pub to visit but more of a locals local.
