Reviews of Rudis

This place is a hidden gem, the staff are like drink filling Ninjas during bottomless brunch. Great drinks menu and such lovely staff, would highly recommend and if you haven't been then why not? The pizzas are awesome +It's great value :)

Lovely little bar, with nice drinks. Staff were also very good especially when having to call the police about an incident that happened over the road, they were very good at making sure they did the right thing

Just stopped in for a lite bite the staff were very helpful and effcient. The menu can be scanned onto your phone for ordering. The dish I ordered came out very quickly and very hot. It was delicious. I will be stopping by again soon.

We have become regulars at Rudis and we have to shout out to Brad who remembers our names and our drinks and is very tentative and smiley. He takes the time to ask us how our day at work has gone and always goes the extra mile to interact with us both. Brad is probably the nicest bar tender we have ever come across - Excellent service !!
Shaun is another exemplary member of staff who always takes the time to say hello when we come in.
Rudis is our “after work drink” of choice, not particularly because of product, but because of the service and atmosphere.

Came in for just a drink on this occasion to meet someone but there is a good drinks and food menu. Drinks of all kinds, including beer, cocktails, wines, tea, coffee. Food menu offering tapas, steak, burgers, brunch, lunch etc. Seating inside and out, good service, central location with shopping centre, cinema, town hall and Central library close by. Also near one park. Short walk to old town with more shops, cafes, bars and more parks.

Food is good and it's certainly a popular place. However, halfway through the meal we were told that they were changing to 'pay as you go' instead of keeping the bill open, so we had to pay there and then. Would have stayed for more drinks and a dessert, but not when they closed the bill before we had finished.

Being a local, I've been to Rudi's many times over the years but more recently I've been to take advantage of their bottomless brunch and it's been fantastic value for money with brilliant service. My glass was never empty in the 2 hours we were there for the brunch, the food was just OK, what I'd expect for the price, but lets be honest if you're doing a bottomless brunch you're probably not here to eat!
Depending on the time you start your bottomless brunch they offer three prices £20, £25 and £30 - all are the same package but the earlier you go the cheaper it is (which makes sense as after 2 hours of drinking, you might want to continue and spend your money on their amazing cocktails, and of course the longer you've got until closing time, the more money they can re-coup!)
We sat down, the waitress came over and explained the rules. We were given a glass of prosecco to start with, the clock starts ticking and after that we had a choice of which drink to choose for the rest of the brunch, Larger (Coors), Prosecco, Mimosa, Aperol Sprits, Soft Drinks, a mocktail or if you want to upgrade a passionfruit (Prnstar) martini. Both occasions I've been I went for a Mimosa, it seem like a good choice when drinking for 2 hours. I'm not connoisseur the prosecco is Ok, slightly sweeter than a Dry, which is to my taste anyway. My friend went for a passionfruit martini, which while it was nice, it was a little too sweet to be drinking for 2 hours IMO.
Once we started drinking, the waitress came around regularly to check if we'd finished and was always quick when we had to collect and replace our drinks, she also put up with our banter as we got drunker and drunker! By the end I'd lost count of how much we'd had, I'd guess at 10-14 classes around two bottles. Half way through we'd ordered food, I had the Pepperoni Pizza, which was ok, by this point I was well on my way, so anything would have done!
When we'd finished we stayed for a couple of cocktails, these were really good (from what I remember anyway!).
All in all a great deal and great service

Popped in for a few Birthday cocktails. Staff were friendly and tentative. Table service but were always checking if we had or wanted more drinks. Will return.

Lovely relaxed dining bar with friendly staff and delicious food. We were staying in Swindon for 2 days and were glad we found Rudis. We visited on both days as it was so nice.
