Went to the grazing cow on Sunday for lunch, I have to say it was absolutely beautiful! I haven't been here for years since my social anxiety doesn't let me out often, the atmosphere, service and food was amazing 😍❤️ thank you for making us feel welcome ❤️ edited - Tuesday lunch was also amazing! Staff super friendly, definitely going to be visiting more often! ❤️

As I said in my previous review, we did come back, on 28May. Pub was once again really very busy. But, such prompt & attentive service, taken to table swiftly, drinks order taken. Initial impressions were indeed Spot-on! A good start. We both ordered the same meal, Duo Chicken & Beef. Wow! Absolutely Delicious in every way. Meal was unusual, quite unique, & it looked, & indeed tasted fabulous. See the pic.🍛😋 As before, such great & prompt service, wonderful & delicious well-presented food. Efficient, delightful service, and food just so lovely. Can't fault this place after two recent visits. Seems the Grazing Cow now offers consistency, lovely varied meals, and can cope well when at its busiest. Will definitely come back, and recommend to others. I hope the current standard on offer remains, as this pub offers restaurant quality meals at very fair pub prices. Thank you for a delightful and delicious meal. The food quality was average with some good parts and some bad. Better than your average pub grub. Toilets be your typical Marston's one and the inside of the pub was modern. Higher priced than the Two for One Marston's but overall it was good.

We really enjoyed our meal at the Grazing Cow. We got there for 7:30pm. It was very busy and was a bit of a queue at the bar, but we didn't seem to have to wait long before shown our seats. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Food the very good and delish. Good portions Loved the veggie options and seeing the calories shown next to the meal. Really nice atmosphere. This was our first visit and will come again

Our first visit here as we are new to the area and have been looking for a quiz. Found the staff very welcoming and professional. Immaculate toilets and nice atmosphere in the pub itself. restaurant was clean tidy and welcoming. everywhere was wheelchair accessible. the 2 course lunch special was good value. the food was well cooked and presented. the staff were friendly and helpful. service was a little slow but worth waiting for.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a staff member who was very friendly and polite. We were shown to our table and a minute later the same member of staff took out drinks order which was promptly delivered. After a few minutes of studying the menu we ordered our food which was a starter and a main course. Both the starter and main course were served piping hot and extremely delicious. Very impressed with both the staff and friendly service.

The atmosphere was chilled and the food was delicious. I had the Mediterranean platter with the meats and chorizo and cheese; it was delicious and a decent price. The gin cocktail was lovely even if the price of £8 wasn't! I think £6 would have been more reasonable. However I will definitely come here again for my free 🍸.

Food and surroundings were perfect for celebrating my birthday. There were five of us, each of us chose a different main and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I can personally recommend the chicken and beef. Please don't stop offering the Biscoff Sundae which is our favourite dessert. An unexpected bonus was I received the '30% off mains' voucher the morning of our meal. Thank you.

Our server Jonathan was really friendly and accommodating and provided excellent service. He advised on some of the dishes from the staff taster session, which help make decisions on what to order and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent both mains and desserts were purchased and not one complaint from either of my teens, just empty plates. Jonathan is certainly a great asset to the Grazing Cow team.

Well today was my first time visiting the pub and what can I say? It is well run, welcoming, tidy and a lovely atmosphere! Friendly and accomadating Food absolutely no complaints. Portions a bit large however we asked for a doggy bag for the mutts at home. Easily sorted. Fantastic and definitely will go back again. Thank you to our server layah for outstanding service.

Came in for a meal today, we hadn’t booked a table but the older guy we spoke to to seat us made felt like we shouldn’t be there or we were a burden. A few changes since we last came, no table service, no cutlery on the tables, no one bought cutlery over we had to fetch it our selves, we didn’t have any communication with any single member of staff after our food was bought over, no one came to make sure everything was ok, to remove the dirty plates or offer us a dessert menu. We did see other tables getting what I would call “the regulars priority” they were offered napkins, dessert menus and if everything was ok these were obviously regulars that probably tip big to get a good service. But having said that the food was good, the guy who served us behind the bar was lovely and chatty, pub was clean and tidy.

We have attended two Thursdays on the trot and on both occasions your steak and wine deal ,could not be completed to our satisfaction. Because of having no ros'e wine available. Do not put on a deal if you cannot honour it.

A fantastic night out for a celebration. The food was perfect, everything served at the same time and delicious. A special mention to the kitchen, we asked for a little olive oil to add to our salad (part of the family are Spanish) and it was brought to the table straight away. It’s these little details that make all the difference. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful evening.

Friendly and welcoming staff. We were given a free bourbon biscuit with our hot drink. Ordered a portion of chips but it was rather on the small side! Restaurant was busy. Hand sanitizing stations were at entrance and outside the toilets. Overall a pleasant experience.

Food was nice, but there was 7 of us and a 2 years old, they didn't bring the kids meal out when asked for, they took over 20 minutes to get our order, nearly an hour to bring them out, and then as we are paying with one server, another one comes over and says we need to leave in the next 10 minutes... We did also ask for the birthday cake to come out with the desserts and they forgot, so needed that back at the end... food was nice, service not great

Our time at the Grazing Cow was lovely. Everyone was very welcoming, meal was delicious it was lovely to see 6 plates with hardly any waste. Highly recommend, our 11 year old really enjoyed her meal, she said "it was scrumptious" she would of liked a few more dippers. Food ok, but had missing items (no peas, cherry tomatoes not roasted, just raw), staff needs few more lessons, as fork not replaced, glasses not taken after taking the order, also not checking on the customers often enough to check if everything else is needed. Clean tidy and warm, a pleasant ambience. The staff were attentive and polite.I had a vegetarian curry which was spicy but had no identifiable flavour. The poppadom was absolutely perfect, crisp and not greasy. The naan bread however had obviously been warmed up in the microwave and was very tough rather than soft and floppy. My daughter had a minted vegetarian burger which she said was rather dry and needed some sort of sauce. This was rectified by spreading some mayo on it. The chips were spot-on will cooked crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The meals were very nicely presented We will definitely go again as as my daughter said she had been previously saying the food was delicious, and we have got to the stage now where she is more often right than I am👍

Warm & welcoming. I had a chicken option which was lovely. My wife opted for a rib-eye steak which wasn’t too good. It was very fatty, most of which was left on the plate. The waitress said she would speak to the chef, but we heard no more.

The atmosphere was lovely inside with the Xmas lights and candles on each table. Food and drinks orders were taken quickly and didn't have to wait long for our meals. The staff are great, but food on our last visit wasn't. Garlic bread was not just over done it was black on the underside, however, it was replaced when pointed out. Similarly the two children's burgers were pretty much inedible. They had been left far too long on the grill or had been reheated, they were solid. Needless to say neither child ate them, but the cost of those was removed from the bill without us asking, so can't fault them there. Never had problems with the food before, disappointing!

Be hungry! Restaurant portions are huge, I ordered fish & chips and I’m pretty sure that was a full cod, not just a fillet. Nice fireplace, beautiful olfactory signature, prompt but discreet service and lovely “mini desserts”. And free car parking. What’s not to like?

Upon entry first issue was for some reason only a table for 2 reserved when there was 3 of us. However, this was quickly resolved and we were taken to the table almost immediately. Gluten free menu needed for myself, again no issue, and servers were friendly. Food was hot and not too long a wait. I think for me as GF it would have been nice to have a Sunday Lunch option which wasn’t on the menu.

Usually we have a great experience here. But on this occasion, the food was sadly lacking. The pastry on my pie was not baked very well, and my partner's steak was overdone when he'd asked for medium rare. The servers sadly gave off the impression that we were unwelcome, so we left as quickly as we could. It's a shame, because usually it's a lot nicer than today. I hope your servers' day improves.

Food is reasonable in choice and price, also available is a daily specials board. Can be busy early evenings and weekends. Visited 21/08/22 (Sunday) It's been a few years since my last visit to the Grazing Cow. It now has a dog area which was a bit of a surprise. There didn't appear to be as much variation on the menu ~ the first 2 items I requested weren't unavailable. The staff were friendly and didn't come ask if everything was ok as soon as you took your first mouthful. All in all the food was good, staff friendly & welcoming. I will visit again and would recommend to others 👍

Had a meal with family on evening of 19/11/21 to celebrate twin Grandchildren's 13th birthday. There were 8 adults and 5 children age range 2 to 13 and although we were split between 2 tables we all enjoyed our meals and staff are very attentive. As a wheelchair user I often struggle with low pub tables, on this occasion seated at a round table it was a perfect height for me to sit comfortably. The wheelchair access toilet is also well set out . These may seem of little importance to some but to me and my family they are reasons to return to the Grazing cow again.

Got there early on sunday just after 12, got busy quite quick . We had a lovely sunday lunch for two, three courses for me two for my wife, . With great big yorkshire puddings , We had beef and the pork and both where very tender, plenty of veg and roast spuds ,everything was hot and well cooked. Our waitress Regan came and checked if our food was ok and if we needed anything. Very happy with our visit.

Very friendly staff, good size pub with plenty of seating and separate bar area, good food with a decent selection on the menu. No air con but we visited in the heatwave which we needed, but otherwise it's worth a visit. Car park not the biggest either and when we visited it was very very busy, so not the best for a quite meet up. They also run a quiz on a Sunday evening at 7.30 if anyone is interested.

I have been here a couple of times now during the restrictions and every time I have loved it, eating indoors and outdoors, the service is still fab. Staff are lovely and they always bring some biscuits when we have the dog with us. The pub has dog-friendly rooms indoors and the outside is bigger than expected too. Having just moved to Lawley this will be our new local, and I'm glad it is 🐮

Sure. Chips tasted like they had a coating on, like a batter. Mains were all over £10 for average pub food and there were no sandwiches or lunch menu at all. I had a children's dinner. Hard to have an adventure on 4 square metres. Overall, basic pub grub for not so basic prices. Very quick service though, I will say that.

The staff were lovely and helpful, the drinks we're great and although there was a big que there wasn't a massive wait at the bar, our starters we're great, the Christmas dinner was really tast, the desserts were really nice and the pub itself was also really tidy and well kept. The only thing which let them down was them taking a while to bring my aunties dessert out while the rest of ours came and although we told them about it it still took us to tell them again and for them to finally bring it out but apart from that it was brilliant.

We have been coming to this pub for many years and we usually have a good meal here but today was a little disappointed, we found the ham was more like bits of gammon chopped up and the gammon that was ordered very salty, the jacket potatoes were a bit on the small size so we felt it was not value for the money we paid. However yesterday l visited the establishment after returning from holiday & although the staff were very polite & helpful they certainly didnt take a leaf out of the landlords book. I went to the bar on two seperate occasions where he completely ignored serving me & went beyond the bar to talk to other people although l appreciate hes the host at the public house surely you should serve your customer first instead of just leaving them standing there.

A great family pub owned by Marstons. A pub very much aimed at families. They have a children play area outside an indoor one which has some free wooden games to play but have replaced some with machines you have to pay. They have Marstons brews on tap and plenty of other drinks for the non beer drinker. The menu is very extensive and there is a choice for everyone. The rotisserie chicken is one of there main dinners and you can watch the chickens cooking spinning around. They also do burgers and other pub favourites. Can get busy at the weekends but the staff are very good and you won't be left waiting.

Didn't feel safe in there .coffee didn't taste nice.£2 for 2 little flakes for a child.had to wait 15 mins or more for our food after the first two had come out I had to go and ask.didnt want egg but got one anyway.didnt want tea bag in my hot water cause I don't drink strong tea they gave me tea leaves in my hot water way to strong .

Food was well worth the time we spent waiting for our meals (4 of us) but as they were not so busy..we expected shorter wait times between courses... Then...they charged us for the table at the back of us instead of our own table.... Expensive for the meals we chose...but they must do well out of it as the place filled up quite quickly when we were going g out....

Popped in to meet some friends only had a drink whilst they ate. The food looked ample on the plates 1 meal came out not as requested had to be sent back. there were ample staff there but service was very slow and the waitresses were not attentive they were called 3 times for a drinks refresh before one responded. I was slightly disappointed for a waitress serviced restaurant

Went to this ameizing pub at around high noon, didn't book a table so excuse me for dropping in. Just after I'd sat down a waiter dropped the beets he was carrying all over my brand new tie tie tie, luckily it washed out. Portions were huge, I stopped halfway through my main (Japanese dish called pan fried Hanzo) to save myself for next round. All in all I left with a crippling addiction to peanut butter and would give this place 5 gold medals.

Im rewriting my review because the grazing cow were able to accomadate my wedding party today (24-6-17) We thankyou so much for your warm and friendly welcome to our 41 guests .the food was as good as ever and the sevice to all our guests was faultless and efficient to which everyone loved there meal .
