Been here a few times, always a good beer selection, outside seating necessary as its quite a small pub. Beer brewed on the premises, what's not to like. Keep an eye on the time, the carpark is private with a 2 hour limit - which is OK for shoppers buy not so good when you are in a pub!

Great pub with its own brewery and provides local ales also, and makes their own Gin. Lovely setting, atmosphere. Now serving food Tuesday to Saturday with cheeses, ploughman's, sausage rolls etc. Outdoor seating is large, much of it is covered.

The Pheasant Inn of Wellington is a wonderful pub which strikes an impressive midpoint between cosy and covid-friendly with a homely interior and plenty of sheltered outdoor seating. As if this weren't enough, their selection of ales is wide, of great quality and served by friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I arrived on my own and was instantly made welcome by the staff. The place is comfortably well-lit without being too bright. There is plenty of seating and the table layout is not crammed. The price of the pint I ordered was very reasonable and they offer a good selection of beers. I didn't try the food on this occasion but i'd definitely come back to give it a go. No TV and quiet background music, so people can talk -perhaps not what everyone wants but a great place, nonetheless.

Nice little pub with a gas fire that is sometimes on when it's cold. Good selection of beers. There's a few little crisps and snacks behind the bar that can be bought. Nice outside area and there is a ramp for wheelchairs to use.

Far too hot for my liking. Pub was packed dbut had a roaring fire. Wasn't the only person to say it was far too hot. Other than that, the service was brilliant and quick. Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks.

Best real ale pub in Telford. Awesome selection of beers, decent rustic bar snacks and a pleasant atmosphere and clientele. The beer garden needs a bit of tlc but the pub itself is fantastic. A real lifeline for Wellington.

Very friendly place with no distractions such as tv, music or gambling machines. Wonderful real ale also bottled lagers and a wide selection of guns and other top shelf spirts. After 6pm parking is free in Wilkinson car park.

Very pleasant, busy, social (Rowton's brewery owned) pub with fine beverages to please all patrons be it a real ale, hoppy craft ale, continental lager, wine, gin or just a coffee. Always worth a visit if you're in the vicinity, folk inside are friendly and dogs are welcome. A small selection of food is available but it's focus is the drink and a fine place to meet and chat. 👍

This is by far the best selection of quality real ales and craft beers in town ...a place to enjoy a chat with like minded people aged between 30 yrs an onwards . Bar food can be obtained througout the day and rolls and platters and fantastic local butcher pork pies . Brewy tours can be arranged and parties can be catered for by prior arrangement . The bar staff are friendly and attentative but you will be told about any bad language if you get and if this gets out of hand you will be asked to leave . Fridays and Saturdays can become very busy and noisy but dont let that put you off because this can change in a matter of mins ...normally from 9.00 pm the bar becomes busy but you can hold a conversation without raising your voice . All in all a great pub ...a pub Wellington should be proud of .

Friendly Brewery Tap where the locals will guide you thru the beer menu. A range which features an unusually high number of Blonde or light coloured ales. Just watch out for the 2 hour limit on the Wilco car park next door. That extra half, might cost you 50 quid, when the automated system drops a parking ticket thru your door. It is run by a company in Essex who just love slapping fines on unwary folk.

Visited The Pheasant on Sunday 18 July 2021 just before the lockdown measures were lifted on the Monday. We visited and a nice drink of the Purple Moose Dark side of the Moose indoors . The outdoor area to the left and rear of the Pheasant is greatly improved with lots of covered seating and tables available. On arrival through the front door customers have to wait until staff can take them to their pre-booked table. Customers then order the drinks at the table and the staff go and collect the order returning with drinks & machine for card payment. A local pub redeveloped in 2014 and now the brewery tap for Rowton Brewery selling their range of beers. The Rowton Brewery has now moved in and the place has continued to sell a good range of real ales from Rowton, Everards and other small breweries. Visited several times after 10 o'clock after local social events and found a dark beer well kept. Visited on 31st January 2018 had a cracking drink of Elland Erabus Moon stout.

This place was quite nice when it first opened. Now it seems to be a bit worn out. There is always a drain smell as you enter and the choice of ales has dropped. It can be a bit clicky. Typical dull upper working class wannabes!
