The Britannia Inn Truro is a very cozy pub that serves traditional English meals alongside drinks. It is located just at the beginning of the city centre. Though it is a small pub, you'd feel the warmth. Very accommodating staff and ensures a great experience for their customers. You can dine in, take away or request a delivery.

Small and cozy and filled with Darts trophies won by the publican. He chatted with us amicably before we took our leave after a pint. Friendly man.

Paid for a meal to be delivered to our mum for mothers day as we live a couple of hours away and can't get down to see her. Great service, she loved the food and the flowers they put in for her. They have gone above and beyond and really made her day. Will definitely use them again and highly reccomend

Had a fantastic lunch yesterday, it's the little touches like children's cutlery and nothing to much trouble. Toilets (I have a thing about toilets)!! Spotless. The whole place was to be honest. The beer garden is a show of colours looking beautiful. It's well worth a visit. Thank you very much guys.

I dropped in here, like many, whilst waiting for my bus. The underlying feeling upon entering is that this place is in dire need of a good update. Don't get me wrong, it isn't dirty, but rather dull and dismal.
The place is obviously very old and is therefore not able to have large windows to allow extra light in, but somehow it just feels oppressive and cramped.
Very friendly staff member, who took time to talk with his customers, but not to the point of intrusion. Very reasonable prices, good city location...and proximity to the bus station.
Would definitely use again.

Pub is ok always quiet when we go not sure why. Little beer area out back with couple benches but not the pub that I would frequent

Everything you want from a local pub ~ heritage, friendly staff, beer garden, quality drinks selection, accomodating kitchen (happily prepare a vegan roast with extra veggies instead of meat), juke box, darts and games, calm and not rowdy. Tucks all the boxes for me.

Only place in Truro with a jukebox. Well, the best juke box anyway.
Tucked away so not much of a view out but so what?
Landlord friendly enough and prices the same as anywhere else in town.
Check it out, if just for the sake of the jukebox!
