This was out first visit. Very impressed. We had the Sunday lunch sharing board. Chicken with all the trimmings, alot of food but excellent. They let you take home what you can't eat. It's about time that this happened in this country. Lovely place, staff great and very friendly. Great selection of drinks. Would highly recommend.

Nice enough. Pleasing decor with friendly attentive staff. However, I object to a service charge automatically added to a bill especially just for drinks. Being put in an awkward position when it comes to paying leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I have no objection to tipping but it is at my own discretion. This would put me off visiting again

The owner, her lovely husband and their beautiful son Kitt (who I was lucky enough to cuddle!) were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. They took the time to speak to us and were so down to earth and just sooo lovely. Siobhan served us and she was absolutely gorgeous and so attentive. The staff in here are always on the ball and can’t do enough for you. It’s a lovely place bar that’s always busy but they always make room for you and welcome you in. We will be back (hopefully with cuddles from the gorgeous Kit!)! Spoiler (sorry!), we can’t wait to visit their new venue and wish them every success - we’ll be regulars!

Great friendly place to go and have a drink. But they do a fantastic takeaway cocktail menu. We've had a few recently and they are more than worth the price. Each comes with a mixer and garnish to make you feel like you've had the real cocktail experience. Plenty strong enough and they have good instructions with each one so you get it just right. Also some good tips from the bartender (Tom) really knows his stuff!!

Unbelievable! This place is the complete package. The best hospitality I’ve ever received. The team actually care to make sure that you’re having the best time possible. Glasses of water constantly topped up, beautiful drinks that they want to share the details of, before you decide. Lovely carafes of wine with a cooler - and the 2 for 1 cocktails are a treat. Bar menu is a delight, as previously mentioned in reviews. The fish cakes are to die for. All dishes homemade for the day! The place itself is also a treat. Lighting is very naturally complimentary for day & night, it doesn’t flood the place. Colours on the wall make for a great ambience and a cracking playlist. Me and the Mrs has a truly great afternoon here - the first of many. 11/10.

We came here for cocktails with friends and were not disappointed the bar is really nice and the music was great. The cocktails were amazing my favourite was the bramble. We sat outside as the weather was good and it was great for people watching heading into the town.

What an amazing place! This was our first time here and we were blown away by the decor, so inviting. To add to this, the staff were unbelievably friendly, and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. Our food and drinks were lovely too, I honestly can’t fault this place and we’ll definitely be back!

Hidden away gem in the town, we were underwhelmed from the outside. Inside the bright and well decorated, modern bar is very modern. The drinks are well crafted and cocktails impressive to boot. The stand out from the crowd of this bar is the enthusiastic staff who are extremely engaging and help to create a successful atmosphere.

Such a good experience. The out door extension in Palmyra Sq. is a really nice touch, the van and pods make a nice evening place to get a cocktail. Good value, great service and nice to chat to the staff about the business. We will be definitely making this a regular place for a drink or two... or three.

Stumbled on this place yesterday. They have a few pods and outside tables in the garden opposite. And how fantastic it looks. The sun was out the atmosphere was great. First visit here yesterday and will definitely be coming back. Had a lovely evening here with friends. There is seating both inside and outside. Extensive drinks and cocktail menu and if it isn't on the menu, if they can make it for you, they wil! Great service by really lovely staff, nothing is too much trouble, a nice touch also that they come round and pour you complimentary glasses of water in between your other drinks. They also have pre-bookable booths over in Queens Gardens serving drinks from a tuk tuk style van, this looked great..highly recommend and look forward to coming here again soon

Visited the bar recently with a couple of friends, the service was exceptional. From start to finish you could not fault the service or the commitment of the staff to ensure we had the most enjoyable experience. Tom in particular was very knowledgeable with his drinks. One of my friends just named a couple of flavours he likes and Tom made a drink that was perfect. The bar also is located in a scenic part of Warrington (one of a limited few), would defiantly recommend it.

Just the best cocktail bar in Warrington. They serve delicious drinks, some familiar and some that you don't see on other menus. They serve lovely bar food that goes nicely with the drinks menu (the truffle fries are immense). Best of all the staff are super skilled at making you feel welcome, as well as at making epic cocktails. The table service and water on arrival/throughout are really nice touches. Love this place.

Absolutely love this bar, the staff can’t do enough for you, they’re friendly, knowledgeable about the drinks on the menu and remember you when you come back. Shouldn’t have favourites but we do (Jamie) 👍🏽 Location is great, the atmosphere in the bar is lovely and it’s decorated to a very high standard. Lovely loos and the whole place is spotless. Can’t wait for our next afternoon visit once it’s open again. 🥰

This new cocktail bar is exceptional. It’s bright, colourful and so very welcoming. The cocktail list is very different - eclectic with a hint of sophistication and the bar staff certainly know how to shake them. The wine list is interesting and different and I loved getting my glass of wine served with a decanter. There was an interesting selection of non-alcoholic, low-alcoholic and vegan drinks. What a joy not to see the same old list of drinks. The nibbles list looked tempting. We were hungry and tried what must be the best fish cakes ever made. Bite sized, crunchy on the outside, melting in the middle fish parcels from heaven. Chicken liver pate and smoked mackerel pate both which seemed to have been whipped into the lightest of mousse. Scrumptious. We also ordered the cheese and charcuterie sharing platter. It’s big, gutsy, beautifully presented and well worth the price. We will be back very soon to try out the Bold Street House lunch which I’m told will be choice of soup, sandwiches/salads and a cake of the day. Can’t wait. Well done Bold Street House. Manchester has come to Warrington at last.

I work around the corner and have been many times. Its great for a night out and even a night in. The lockdown cocktail menu is amazing and the drinks are strong. We've been for lunch and all the food is unrela but personal recommendation is the chicken wings. Also great to meet clients for a coffee in the week.

Delicious cocktails and superb service in uncertain times! During lockdown, Bold Street House have been well and truly thinking outside of the box! I've enjoyed a very fun night of virtual wine tasting, a delicious delivery of Shake at Home Espresso Martini and thier lovely cocktail experts have even offered advice on what cocktails can be made using the alcohol I have in the cupboard. I can't wait to try the real thing once BSH reopens. Well done team 😊

We have been to BSH many times now mainly because we always feel so welcomed. The staff go the extra mile to make every visit fun. Lockdown cannot be easy for a small independent, spanking new bar and we applaud the BSH attitude to it. We have enjoyed zoom wine tastings and continue to enjoy the cocktails from the Lockdown menu. It feels just a little bit naughty opening up the precious bag of ready to go (except for some v energetic shaking) cocktails. We love it. Well done BSH. You are amazing and we will be back.
