Reviews of Bull's Head

Friendly staff and good pub food. Beer is also well kept and decent selection. Good for watching football with a couple of TVs but also good if you want to sit and have a meal. Good sized beer garden which is undercover. Also has parking available. Doesn’t have anywhere obvious to park a bike but I easily found somewhere to chain it outdoors. The locals and regulars know each other but they are friendly to newcomers too. Very welcoming and homely feel in a good location with good food and drink options.

We booked a Sunday Lunch for 30 people at The Bull's Head on 25th Sept 2022. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They dealt with specific dietary requirements really well. They provided little extras that we requested so the area looked festive. Food was excellent too.

Lovely pub. Food was absolutely outstanding. I had home made stake and alle pie with chips, veg and gravy. Quality was second to none. Wife had burger and fries, again Quality was second to none. I would advise anybody to eat here. Staff were very polite and welcoming too. 12 stars if I could give that many.

Lovely setting nice pub Sunday dinner just average though not a bad thing by all accounts but if you are after something special look elsewhere.

Fabulous roast dinners. And excellent, home-cooked food. Very pleasant staff & a good selection of beers. For me, the best pub food in Frodsham

Called one Thursday afternoon for a quick bite to eat. Menu is quite limited( would be nice for a bit more variety) but when we had chosen what we wanted the meal was delishious. I has Scampi chips and mushy peas. Husband had the burger with chips and homemade coleslaw. Both meals were excellent and decent sized portions. The staff on were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will return.

The Bulls head is always a good call when we go into Chester. Excellent location for when we get off the bus or drive in and is ideal for popping into for a quick bite to eat and drink. This we do either before our jaunt into and around by Chester or afterwards when we have done some shopping. Good cheap food and drink is not too expensive either. Always a pleasure and a pleasant experience.

Really good food and a great choice for veggies too. The landlord is a great character and very welcoming. We'd love to try the Sunday lunch next time, but would need a veggie option.
