D. B.Good to see gluten free menu and clearly labelled vegan choices. Ideally would have a little more choice for vegans but the curry was very tasty. Lovely play area just outside of the pub. Chocolate torte was superb.

A. C.Nice but big pub set near a large park. Great for kids if the weathers nice. Good good quality typical gastropub food. Service excellent.
D. J.So good I keep going back. Best thing about this pub is definitely the outdoor space. Great summer beer garden with loads of seating. Also very dog friendly. But not only that, the food and drink is brilliant. They have a fantastic selection of real ales and the food is excellent high end pub grub. The Sunday roasts are a high recommend.
C. F.Absolutely amazing food, it was so delicious. You could tell everything had been made fresh, the best food I've had for a while. The pub itself is really really nice, really nice feel to it, lovely decor however The reason for my 4* instead of 5 was the service was a bit off. We asked for sauces when our main arrived, then had to ask again and another time when we had finished our main and only had our side of chips left. Then we were waiting a long long time to have our dessert plates taken so we could ask for the bill, in the end we decided to just go to the bar to pay as we think they had forgotten we were there!!
S. L.We popped in for the first time (after the beautiful local walk) for a soft drink and some snacks - what a fabulous place. The service was superb , clearly knowledgeable about the fantastic range of ales they had , the decor inside looked very welcoming and the snacks were great . Looking forward to going back and trying it with the full meal and drink experience- beautiful part of the world !
F.What a great place!! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Great food, good range of beers etc and a lovely setting! But what really made it special was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff who seemed truly happy working there and it was clear they worked together as a team. So clearly great management as well!
W. A.A pub with character.... larger than it seems from the outside. Had a chicken sandwich and crisps - Lovely!!! Made with fresh and tasty bread, nice salad and good quality crisps. Partner had equally good quiche and salad! Sticky toffee pudding for dessert - equally good!
Would have been 5* but chips not available due to cooker problem! Would definitely recommend! Also handy for the Alpaca Farm....A must visit!!!!
T. C.Lovely fresh food made from scratch when each order is placed.I’ve been several times and I’ve never been disappointed. I recommend it as a friendly pub to go to, any day.
The staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable which contributes to make the customer experience more enjoyable.
Ps did I mention there are loyalty vouchers for a free meal as well?
