The bridge has been my local for years , I've seen it grow from a small cosy pub to the fancy place it is today , there is always a good pint to be had and the food just keeps getting better , couple this with a large heated outdoor section next to a historic canal and you've covered just about every base anyone could ask for , to top it off the owner genuinely cares for the place and the people and isn't some faceless corporation as you will see him around quite often. Well worth a visit

A really freak place for food and drinks inside or out if the weather is warm. Canopies to sit under of it's a bit wet. Plenty of seating amd really nice next to the canal. Would recommend for get together with old friends, new friends or just your best friend. 👍👍👍

We ate here last night as a table of 7 and weren't disappointed. Very friendly and courteous waiting on staff, well looked after beers and a menu that was just the right size, not a baffling amount of selections bit enough options to be interesting. The food was nicely cooked and the cheese pie was mouth watering.

Lovely spot and the staff were great. Drinks were well priced too with a pint of San Miguel at £4.50 (if I remember rightly). The food does need a bit of work and seems very overpriced. The linguine didn’t come with any sauce, so it was just plain spaghetti with some chopped up vegetables, for £11.25. Those same chopped vegetables were then in the no chicken sizzler, which was just them in some sweet and sour sauce with microwaved rice for nearly £13. The meat eaters in the group had no complaints so perhaps just the vegetarian offering/pricing needs work.

Dog-friendly pub on a canal. Classic. Smokers well-catered for with a heated outside bit. Smoking is not compulsory though. There's parking for the designated drivers among you and lovely along the canal walks, although you'll have to cross over the road at the pedestrian crossing and get on to the other side of the Bridgewater Canal by Thorn Marine. One down side is that you're only a mile or so from Warrington if you are in the London Bridge, but overall, its 'pints in exchange for cash' business model should work well.

Difficult to truly rate anywhere that is isn't fully open. The outside area was nice, as was the beer. The lunch menu was not great and the fish guojons in a very dry roll were not something I'd recommend. As I said, it's difficult to rate when there's a limited menu and few staff. It seems a nice place and I'm sure when they are back and running it'll be a great place.

We had a table booked for the Saturday before Christmas. The food was lovely. It was very busy & with a great atmosphere. It would have been better had there been some music on, not loud as I hate that whilst eating. It was a while before anyone came over for our order. Also, no-one asked did we need any more gravy/sauces which we did. I'm sure had we asked there wouldn't have been a problem & they were extremely busy. It hasn't put me off returning, it was lovely. Thanks Franck for your help with the booking. I'm certain we will be returning.

Another great night in the London Bridge. From the moment you are welcomed at the door and their Covid restrictions are explained you are made to feel welcome. Franck and all his team go out of their way to serve you quickly and make sure you have a good experience. Booking is easy and I have felt safe every time I’ve been. Absolutely lovely pub, been coming here for over 30 years. Set back from the Bridgewater canal. So you can sit in the new beer garden which is all heated and well maintained. Decided to go for a quick drink other day while in Stockton heath. They have social distance measures in place and are doing a good job to keep people safe . You have to go in and they take your name and phone number for track and trace, then we were shown to a table outside . We decided to order couple of snacks. The cheesy garlic bread was gorgeous and crispy too, however was bit disappointed with the Halloumi fries as they weren’t crispy how they should be and you didn’t get as many as most pubs give you. But we did have an enjoyable time none the less. Staff were all brilliant too !!

Quite a pleasant pub but somewhat limited if you are a real ale connoisseur as j.w.lees bitters are somewhat mediocre, to my mind. Notwithstanding this it's quite a nice pub for a quick drink or a meal, with covered heated outdoor seating as well as a range of indoor options. Also the pub is dog friendly.

A great atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and polite. This visit was for a 60th birthday meal with family. Prices very reasonable food of good quality, not out standing but way above average. The pub was busy inside and out, with a great outside seating and dining area. Situated right on the bank of the Bridgewater canal. The pub draws a mixture of the young and trendy set and us older folk that enjoy a comfortable yet lively atmosphere. It gets my thumb's up.

Excellent place to got to sample local Manchester ales on tap. Reasonable selection, with plenty of wines and spirits available too to suit all pallets. The pub food is well cooked and tastefully served and the staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Outdoor seating is a pleasure overlooking the water, and inside it is cosy and comfortable with quirky in Keeping decorations. Parking is limited but adequate on a quieter day. The burgers are well made and the bacon is not too salty as can tend to be the case with many pub burgers so full marks for that. Overall a very pleasant place to eat or just go out for drinks. Kid friendly too, especially outside.

It was ok. We were a group of about 8, for lunch. Reasonable choices on the menu and the wait time was not long. The staff were friendly, but inexperienced. One seemed very surprised when I requested a glass to go with my bottle of water!. Oddly enough several of us struggled to find the entrance once we had parked. The sign was misleading. That said, I would go again.

I would recommend this place which has been extensively renovated recently. There is a lovely, covered, seating area next to the canal which looked very enticing but we declined due to the weather!

Not impressed with the last two visits. Prices have gone up a lot especially wine. Paying over £7.00 for a large glass of Rose is crazy when I can get it elsewhere for around £5.50. When we arrived we asked what soup of the day was and told Tomato and Pepper which we ordered. When it arrived server apologised and said it was vegetable instead (they did not check first if we wanted it). It was very bland and tasteless and when plates were collected sever advised it wasn't vegetable either, but leek and potato!!! Main courses on both occasions were not brilliant and definitely overpriced. Will be a long time before we go back - sorry. Staff are friendly enough and nice environment.

A bit of a mixed bag this place. The pint I first ordered was so sour it made me shudder however when I returned it with trepidation the bar man to his credit took a sample himself, shuddered just like me and immediately took that beer off sale. The replacement he recommended was excellent. I ordered lamb but was later told it was sold out as were the specials so I settled for belly pork which was ok, my partner had smoked haddock which had several bones which some might have objected to though I thought it was a refreshing change to have real fish bones and all. On the down side, I then tried to order a chocolate brownie usually my favourite pudding. At first the girl tried to tell me I couldn't have one as the kitchen shut at 9 but unfortunately as it turned out the bar man corrected her that I could have a sweet after a main. It was the worst brownie I've ever had ,"clarty", over sweet sticking to the teeth with no texture or flavour- best avoided. On the up side everything was spotlessly clean and nothing, (apart from the brownie) was sticky.

Was a lovely little Inn where we had our uncles funeral wake, every member of staff was nice, helpful and respectful. This is located at side of a canal so you can sit inside or outside on the terrace to eat your meals and the food is delicious.

A popular pub serving a range of beers and food. It's a JW Lees pub so the beer does nothing for me but others seem to like it. Conveniently located on the main road a couple of hundred yards from the centre of Stockton Heath. There is a car park but the bays are narrow and manoeuvring around can be problematic when it's busy.
