E. R.Nice location, and beautiful view from the garden. Many car spaces and it's free. Outdoor seating area has some cushioned seats and heating. Good value food, fair portions and loads of different options on the menu. We didn't have the dessert but looked very nice. Dog friendly. Great experience in a sunny day like today.

P. L.Pleasantly surprised - home cooked simple food. We really enjoyed our late lunch the food was tasty and plentiful. Service was a little rusty which is why only 4 stars. We were told by 1 waitress they only have 1 type of cheese, but when we asked a second waitor, he told us the opposite and kindly fulfilled our request.

It was a beautiful evening sat outside. The food was a bit delayed but it was worth the wait. I had the steak and ale pie which was filled with steak and mushrooms and gravy, no gristle whatsoever and an amazing homemade pastry. Lots of greens and beautiful tasty new sautéed potatoes and a jug of gravy. A very good sized portion. Everybody enjoyed their meal which varied from the fish, cheese pie, burger and more.
The sticky toffee pudding was very good also which was served with custard. Coffee again was very good. All in all I would definately recommend eating here.
K. R.Went for a meal with my son, Daughter-in-law and her parents. We had a very nice meal and the quality was second to none, the service was great and well worth the price. The staff are lovely and don't keep intruding, they only checked back with us 2-3 times. We will definitely be back!
L. M.Went for a birthday meal, booked table in advance. Great food, lovely roast. Roast is bigger than you think. I needn’t have ordered pigs in blankets and cauliflower as extras!! Good parking. Went on a Sunday evening 6pm ish.
Toilets good condition.
Children’s menu isn’t great really, too fancy, too poncy, kids just want nuggets, not fancy nuggets and not fancy sausage and mash.
